Really cute, big outside patio, very dog and child friendly! I went here on a busier day and was helped pretty quickly, and got my items pretty quickly too! I was expecting the latte to have a bit more flavor, but it was nothing a couple Stevia couldn't fix. The staff was very nice and the ambience was really cool. This would definitely be a place I'd come back to!

An adorable coffee shop in Leucadia! We popped in one sunny weekend afternoon for some coffee. It was the most adorable spot! We got the Orange Spice Latte which tasted exactly how it sounds. A solid brew with citrus notes. There's tons of seating both inside and outside. We chose a seat at their funky bar to get some work done and people watch. It's a really lively spot that gets a lot of people (and dog!) traffic. Super chill!

Such a great spot to grab coffee! Lots of seating if you want to stay and work. We grabbed a coffee and walked around Encinitas and it was great! The banana latte was delicious and does not taste artificial at all. The burritos were $4.50, good price for a quick little snack. I'll be back!

There is always a long line so come early on the weekends! My fav is their scallion/herb cream cheese.

Wow one of the best matchas I've had in a longgg time from a new place. Love the beach-y/surf-y aesthetic here too. Get that matcha cream top. Strong matcha flavor but also a nice little sweet treat

Great vibes and a great neighborhood spot. Very dog friendly, but my iced coffee was a little bland. I'm not sure if it was brewed incorrectly or the beans are expired, but I was expecting a little more flavor.

Cute coffee shop in Leucadia! I love that they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Plus points for being dog friendly! I got their iced black cherry matcha which wasn't too sweet.

This spot is a easy 100 to grab some caffeine. The spot has lots of room inside and out to hang out and work or visit with friends. They have a large menu with breakfast and pastries, even grab n go burritos, that accommodates all diets. I ordered the coconut cold brew which I fully enjoyed. The flavor was just right and the coffee was nice and bold. I highly suggest checking out this spot. Super friendly staff, great food and coffee and a good time!

latte with black cherry cold foam

The coffee was watery and flavorless and the black cherry foam barely tasted like cherry at all. Would not revisit. The location is super cute though! There's a comfy space outside under ample tree shade and the cafe interior feels modern and clean. Service was friendly.

Coffee coffee is such a great way to start your morning and kickstart it with good quality drinks and pastries! I stopped by to check out the coffee shop on vacation and was blown away by the decorative design in this cafe! The tables are a nice birch color and the whole interior is very nicely and carefully color schemed, you can tell the owners genuinely care about their cafe. They had the cutest merch shirts and stickers and a little machine that exchanges quarters for a mini poster, which will be the perfect addition to my scrapbook page about my time in Encinitas! :) The cafe is attached to a surf shop so getting lost browsing through all those little goodies you never knew you needed is so easy and I loved every second of it. I'm gluten intolerant and omg! When I tell you they have the best HUGE (which is rare with gluten free items) chocolate almond cookie that you can easily share between your friend and you, it's so filling and perfectly sweet. I got hooked and came almost every morning to try it during my stay. The workers are all so kind and beautiful!! They have that friendly look if ykyk, and everyone was so accommodating about making unsweetened coffees and matchas. I was so happy to see them hiring younger people because we all know how hard it is to get a job as a teenager. Outside they have an art box which creates such a smart and easy way to connect as a community. If you stop by make sure to bring at least 4 quarters for the print machine and treat yourself to that almond cookie, don't forget some artwork to leave behind for people to admire!

Bad wifi, flies galore, and overwhelming environment. My third time back here b/c it's aesthetic, but same old problems. A coffee house should have solid WiFi, standard. Get some fly strips or clean the decaying plants. If yall could identify the source of the high pitched buzzing noise I would appreciate it. Also to the barista who said "good, how are you" before I said anything hang in there

Local reads and lots of people working.

It's easier for them and easier for us - they can count how many people are coming & you don't have to worry about waiting an hour. Vibes are great. Food is lovely (though expensive!). My fave dish was the amazing summer porridge. Sure it's $32 for the dish - but this is a Michelin-quality place (Bib Gourmand, not a star) so not for every day and it was delicious. Basically like a risotto, ate every grain. Check out the gorgeous pic! People are high on the Turkish eggs - but I thought they were meh, and tiny for $23. Not one of the best values here, IMHO. We wanted to try the vaunted French toast, but they had run out by the time of our reservation. On the recommendation of our server & my friend Jiansen in his review here, we also ordered the Pistachio Bread Pudding. It was beautiful, tasty, light and photo worthy! And also on Jiansen's rec, I tried the jasper, which was like a cold coffee mocktail on the rocks (steady state coffee. cherry. chaga. vanilla. rose vinegar. lemon). Tasty and interesting! We really liked the vibes too. They take reservations for 1:30 pm, though they're closing technically at 2. The manager (whose name I am forgetting - but he is from Philly and super nice!) told us "they don't close" and we could sit and enjoy & not be in their way while they closed up, but a few of the other staff members seemed to be wanting us to leave. So keep that in mind if you get one of the last reservations; lingering with a friend might be a bit challenging. But we had a great time, and I especially enjoyed the summer porridge. I'll definitely come again (and know I should make a reservation) - but it's probably better to come earlier before they run out of anything & before we're in their way while they're cleaning up! Oh - and parking can be a real challenge. Come early and check out the side streets!
