Could not have found a better place for a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich after a coast to coast road trip. Everything was prepared with care and tasted delicious. Generous holiday decorations created a festive and warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning -- this café shares its space with a deli sandwich shop. They have their own parking lot, which was super convenient, and plenty of outdoor patio seating along with some indoor tables. The menu looked great, and they also had a nice selection of pastries. Unfortunately, they didn't have "for here" cups for my latte, and the butter croissant was just okay. It was also quite noisy inside, mostly from the baristas, which made it hard to sit and relax.

I was in a pinch and needed a snack during an appointment. Luckily Queenstage was within walking distance on Coast Hwy. Queenstage is a cute coffee shop attached to the biker's favorite Moto Deli. Unfortunately they don't serve food past 11 which was disappointing - but you can always go to Moto if you are hungry. The shop itself was super cute, clean and well decorated. It wasn't that busy on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and also had a croissant. The croissant was a little bit stale but had good flavor. The matcha was good too. I'd definitely return to try the breakfast and other latte items!

Message to the business owner: please train your employees to be courteous even if fake, customers are used to smiling customer service. After all this is Enchanting Encinitas! I found this coffee shop while looking for coffee in Encinitas area. I found it cool and hip and love the walls painting with those green leaves. That was the only inviting thing in this place. I ordered me stuff and showed the barista my 10% discount after checking on Yelp and she said 'no, we don't take coupons'. I told her well why do you guys advertise on yelp, you have to honor what you promise. She keeps refusing giving me excuses that there have been numerous changes in ownership. I don't need to know that, that is not my business ans in my opinion that should not be discussed with customers because not only gives bad vibes but also makes you think: so you are telling me the previous owners were more generous. Then she called the owner and after speaking to him she accepted the Yelp discount. No smiles, bad attitude, no sorry for the misunderstanding. Then she said but just for this time. Then i told her well tell your manager to put it down from Yelp because it misleads customers. And she goes and blasts the 'i don't care, I just work here'. Wow. I wanted to leave immediately after hearing that.

    Special toast. YES!

Kids treat for brunch today. "You want special toast?" Well. It was an easy wait. 101 on a Sunday is entertainment in itself. Lots of puppy's. Bikes. Sunshine Special toast could not have been any better.

Friendly and chill environment, 40% off pastries after 12 pm, and yummy drinks! I love the variety of customers that come through.

Tucked inside the Moto Deli on the left-hand side, Queenstage is such a hidden gem in Encinitas! Whether you're in the mood to chill inside or soak up the sun outside, they've got plenty of seating options for both. Coffee: 10/10 -We tried the Honnoman and a mocha, and wow--they were both incredible. Super smooth, perfectly balanced, and the espresso really shines through in the best way. The oat milk was just right and blended so nicely. Honestly, some of the best drinks I've had in a while. *Their menu is stacked with awesome options, both for coffee and food. It's not just about the drinks here--they've got a full-on café vibe going. Service: 10/10 -The service was also top-notch. The woman who helped us was so sweet and genuinely friendly. She asked about our day and what we had planned--it really added such a warm personal touch to the whole experience. Coffee Shop Vibes: 10/10 -The shop itself is super cute and clean with a chill boho aesthetic--lots of greenery on the walls and subtle, stylish décor that makes it feel cozy but modern. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area--definitely one of Encinitas' little treasures!

This place it's very cute! The baristas are friendly and attentive and the coffee is good--we had iced honey vanilla lattes. They were the perfect level of sweetness. Not crowded for a Tuesday summer morning. Lots of locals and cyclists stopping by and very easy to find parking!

Very cute shop in Encinitas blocks away from the ocean! Super friendly and happy baristas serve good coffee and sell pastries and cookies! Stop by as I was exploring the coast for a quick coffee fix! Cookies were delicious! On a flip side Queenstage is super small and shares bathroom with three other businesses...

Can't speak to the coffee but a really solid matcha latte!! Such a cute location tucked between motodeli and bike shop. Loved the decor for Valentines. Good service with some cute little tables to sit at but limited seating.

Smoked salmon, eggs, avocado slices, arugula and baby sprouts.

Unfortunately Queenstage Coffee House changed management and menu. My favorite plate is no longer offered. Sadly, we will not be returning.

    Hot Vanilla Latte

Easily one of the best lattes I've had in so long! I always go out of my way to stop by this place. Quaint spot with so much seating.

I thought I was lost at first at the Moro Cafe, but Queenstage is inside the Cafe to the right! I ordered a flat white and a special toast. The coffee may be small, but it packs a punch! The toast did not disappoint, & had a generous serving of salmon with it. Gentle spice with great flavor, but probably not for grandma (if your granny is like mine and is a little sensitive lol). I squeezed in right before their kitchen closed at 1:30pm, so be sure to give the kitchen time to clean up before closing time. It's a small business, so let's be extra cool to the chefs who make it happen! The barista's can keep making coffee until 2:30pm. The ambiance is very hipster, chill. The ladies on the staff team staff were all bilingual in Spanish & English today, which is totally awesome! There is free WiFi, but it is a little too loud to take work calls. Great spot for answering emails or working on a solo project!

It's tough to get a table for a weekend noon. I booked our reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Parking is either near the train tracks across the street or on the curb. We got the egg dish and salad bowl. The yogurt for the eggs was deliciously spiced; dipping in the toasted bread into the gooey poached egg, creamy yogurt, and herbs was delicious! My issue with this dish were the herbs that were too large. Was I expected to stick a big piece of herb on my toast? The dish is saucy with the chili oil so my clothes were dirty with the oil covered herbs. Chop the herbs smaller for practicality! Another dish suffered from the execution. We got the bowl which I thought was going to be a grain bowl. Rather, it was a ridiculously-sized salad--as much leaves as a pack from the grocery store! There were toppings within like slices of avocado, pieces of orange, farro, and nuts. I felt like I was trying to treasure hunt to look for these pieces. The salad was comically oversized. It was dressed fine but suffered from the portion size. You could see this theme with the French toast too where you get 1/3 of a baked bread. I'm honestly confused by this chef who has amazing experience. Why do you construct dishes that are difficult and impractical to eat? Less is more. These dishes need extensive edits. How this place got Bib Gourmand is honestly surprising to me.

Surely they are masters at greasy bacon and eggs, day old coffee, and probably little else. Wrong. Very wrong. This place may look a little ordinary from the outside but there is nothing ordinary about it. It may look like a classic diner inside but it does not sling food like an old diner. The menu is well-written and the food is high quality, excellent, and borderline gourmet. Do not order eggs, bacon, and toast here. Swing for the cheap seats. We tried the Ham, Avocado and Tomato Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was fantastic. If I didn't care about remaining somewhere under 350 pounds, I would return every Saturday and eat my way through every single eggs benedict concoction on the menu and there are many such benedict creations from which to choose. The Banana Nutella crepe, with "whip" cream (not "whipped," apparently, we're gentle with our cream here, folks), was decadent. If you like your breakfasts on the sweet side, you will enjoy this one. The Tres Porkitos omelet (made with ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese) was hearty and just as good as it sounds. The breakfast potatoes were very nicely done but could have used a little more seasoning. There is a salt shaker (and numerous hot sauces) on the table for just these types of emergencies. Do NOT leave here without getting a freshly-made biscuit with butter and honey on the side. You have made a serious error in judgment if you leave without getting one of these. Even the freshly-squeezed orange juice was delicious. Our server was wonderful. No complaints. They have dining inside or on the patio. Encinitas is a delightful community. While I loved the old school diner feel inside, you cannot go wrong with the people watching outside on one of our almost always sunny days in So Cal. If you live here, you already pay the Sunshine Tax so get your money's worth and sit outside, if you can. 10 stars.

When my food arrived, the bagel had visible mold on it. It was very concerning that this wasn't caught before being served. I brought it to the attention of the staff member who delivered the food. Instead of taking the plate back and replacing the meal, he simply removed the bagel from my plate and brought another one. Given the situation, I would have expected the entire dish to be remade. Additionally, the coffee mug I was given appeared dirty, which added to my concerns about overall cleanliness. I later felt sick and experienced symptoms consistent with food poisoning, possibly related to the meal. For the quality of food and service provided, the pricing felt unreasonably high. The overall experience did not reflect the cost. I'm really disappointed with the lack of quality control and how the situation was handled. I hope management takes food safety, cleanliness, and customer service more seriously moving forward.
