    shrimp thingy.

what's going on in New Port Richey downtown? Sip is going on. Small niche charcuterie restaurant with decent wine list. Also available. handful of craft beers and if you're not a cheese board or charcuterie fan they have flatbread as well. Sidewalk and indoor dining with a surprise back room as well. host and waitress very friendly. wish they told me i could have switched out the gorgonzola for another cheese (i asked at the end of the meal when the sad and lonely blue cheese was all that was left (after the to-go box was filled. we got the # 4 board and shrimp salsa fresca (think bruschetta profile). High quality salami and cappicola, smoked gouda, dried apricots, raisin, hummus, small fresh bread rounds. Great board. The shrimp was overpowered by the tomatoes and i loved it but shrimp was definItely backstage.

Nice bistro like atmosphere and decor. Extensive menu reasonably priced. Many wines to choose from. My date and I shared a bottle of DAOU reserve Cabernet. A bit pricy and it screams to bloom in a decanter, at that price...our bottle didn't have time for that I guess and the only reason why 4 and not 5 stars. I would recommend calling ahead and have them uncork your bottle at least 30 min before you get there or order off the tap. "The Pope" board was amazing and nicely presented. The arugula was so fresh and so delicious I'd go back just for that. Fed two of us to satisfaction for under 20 dollars. Super deal for that quality especially the Di'parma. Cannoli cream was lacking that signature marscapone flavor but the Pizzelles were perfect. Staff was super friendly, attentive but not intrusive...Thanks Mike. Can't wait to go back and explore some more. Nicely done folks. Keep up the passion.

This place is super cool. Lots of places to sit outside, the inside is very cool vibe. There's also a super secret speakeasy, that you can rent out for $50 a night. Love, love this place! Great selection of wine and craft beers on tap.

Cool little spot! I was in town looking for place to grab a quick drink with the Mrs. And this place did not disappoint. Cool, hip, trendy vibe. Menu was just right; light finger food and a vast beer and wine menu. This is a must go if in NPR.

It is so exciting to see the revitalization of New Port Richey. I have no doubt that local businesses like Sip are bringing a new era to the area. Our charcuterie board was delicious. We had board #4, as well as chicken pate. I think my favorite bite was wrapping a bit of blue cheese and fig inside of a salami slice. You get savory and salty together. Yum! The staff here is so welcoming and accommodating, too. They were super sweet to our son which meant everything to me. They genuinely want you to feel comfortable here, and if you have well-behaved children they will not be turned away. As a parent I can't tell you what a relief that is. They really understand the importance of community and connecting. We're happy to have an awesome spot in town to enjoy as a family or for date night and I can't wait to come back!

Roommate and I decided to have a "night in" (let's be real, all nights are nights in right now) where we ordered from a local place and watched a movie. I had plans to come here a few weeks ago when s**t hit the fan with the virus so those plans were cancelled. I can't wait to come back when everything opens up again as the "plate" we ordered was so yummy and we both enjoyed the wines we bought too.

This is exactly what New Port Richey needed !! What I've been waiting for . It felt like I was in down town St. Pete . Lovely little jazz bar. Pros: *location The board of feta, fresh pita , hummus, olives, peppers, tzatziki sauce. The basil hummus with pretzels is addicting. Food selection of wines Decor and atmosphere is fun, relaxing and elegant in a trendy way . ***** best thing on Thursday eve is the two gentlemen playing jazz . One plays the upright bass And the other gentleman plays the sax . They are both well known musicians in the music world and play in several orchestras . They made it sooo perfect !!!!! Will def be back on Thursday's for amazing live jazz music , wine and delicious basil hummus and pretzels . Good customer service , lighting is perfect . The only con : They have a few little couches and comfy seats , but wouldn't mind more comfy stools .

What an eclectic little wine and tapas place this is. My wife, who is a wine enthusiast, absolutely loved the selection, the seating on couches and comfy puffy chairs made it very calm and relaxing. They also had a nice variety of micro brews for us non wine drinkers. Charcuteir plates of meats and cheeses and a small menu of tapas selections made it very nice. A tad pricy at $9 a glass for a $20 bottle of wine but you have to make money. Cool place.

    Flat bread tastes great!

Having a drink at Sip and a flatbread. The craft beer is awesome and the staff knew exactly what I was looking for! Chicken flatbread came out hot with lots of chicken and totally delicious!

This is the "colorful board" - we literally just left & it was amazing. Been meaning to check this place out forever and finally had the time. My boyfriend had a peanut butter and chocolate beer, the Sweet Baby Jesus. I had a wonderful moscato. This place is worth every penny

Great find in Downtown New Port Richey. When you step into this location you feel as though you are taken back in time. They have a nice selection of wine, beer, coffee and tea along with elevated cheese boards and flat breads.

Went here for the first time on a Wednesday night. It reminded me of a hidden bar in a big city you need a password for, very trendy. The atmosphere was like no other in New Port Richey. The wine selection was obviously vast, the beer was a bit over priced but expected to be. The best part of my experience was the platter. The cheese bored, number two, was so above expectations. Will be back.

Yum - stuffed ourselves. Next time we will bring friends to help us with this cannoli dip

The overall vibe is what keeps us coming back. That said, we've had multiple unpleasant experiences with the same male bartender. The first time I visited, I had never been there before and asked which beer was the most popular or what people ordered the most. Instead of answering my question, he simply pointed at the menu on the wall and said, "That's our menu." I wasn't asking what beers you had, I was asking for a recommendation. It came across as dismissive. On another visit, I had a wonderful experience with a female bartender. She was friendly, accommodating, and made my drink exactly how I requested. Unfortunately, on a later visit I ended up with the same male bartender again. I ordered a cocktail and politely asked if he could make it a little sweeter. His response was, "We make it how we make it." I told him that was completely fine and just asked if he could make it slightly sweeter. He replied, "I'll try." The drink came out with no sweetness at all, and it honestly didn't seem like any effort was made to accommodate a simple request. I don't expect every request to be possible, but I do expect friendly customer service and a willingness to help when it's something so minor. Thankfully, the atmosphere, events, and the rest of the staff have been great enough that we continue coming back. I just hope the customer service is more consistent because Starkey Market is otherwise such a wonderful place.

We were greeted at the door and taken right away to our table. It was Wednesday night, so it wasn't very busy. Our waitress was super attentive and offered a lot of advice on the menu. We each had something different to try, and each of us enjoyed our meal immensely. Their cute shell shaped butter was delicious, I guess it was a brown sugar butter, which offered just the right sweet on top of their warm bread. Our table enjoyed Caesar salad and the beet salad, both of which did not disappoint. The salads were offered in a small or large portion. The French onion soup was a relatively small portion, but when paired with the salad, it was a perfect meal. I was told the burger was one of the best they'd ever had, and the Parmesan potatoes were delicious. Both the scallop risotto and filet tips were hits too. We all cleaned our plates. It is listed as fine dining, and their prices definitely cater to that. I would recommend maybe a little brighter lights, but overall it was very cozy inside.

I'll be honest, the Green Dip is 80% of the reason I go to Brix. It is so phenomenal that it pulls me back again and again. It that change is permanent, I'm not sure I'll be back as frequently. Oh yes, that's got "Jen on a Saturday" written all over it. I told the super friendly and fun owner what I like (Pinot Grigio) and she found three amazing chilled whites for me to try. Two were really good... one was full out fabulous. I ordered a glass.. the owner served up a great pour-and I sat there happily chatting with the folks around me-who were more into the social scene than their screens. It was such a fun place to perch. They have a nice selection of craft beers-some local. And I know they had big pretzels, for those weren't full of saganaki and salad like I was (that would be a fun band name-Saganaki and salad). There are board games to play at the scattered tables and really good live music. (it was mid-afternoon when I was there.) I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had another engagement to get to--and a short window between rains to get to my car-at the other end of Dodecanese--so I had to dash. It would be the perfect place to hang with friends. I'll rally the troops. This fun spot is located on the far end of the main drag... past the fudge shop-adjacent to the tea and flag shops-across from the mini light house and parking.
