    Poutine
    Ericka S.

Husband and I stopped here for a quick, light dinner and a drink. I ordered the poutine and he got the wings and a beer. I loved the poutine! The potatoes were thin but with some heft to them to carry the gravy. The curds were very cold so it took a while to get to a melty point, but it was tasty. The gravy was very good and not too heavy. My husband also really liked the wings, he devoured those pretty quick. Service was friendly and quick, and it was a chill place to be on the night before new years. I'd definitely go again if we lived in the area.

Great space for your organization's evening or afternoon meetings! Whether it's business or social, they space is great.

Absolutely top notch experiences last week with Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory and Havana Dreamers' menu offerings and event services! The metal and concrete industrial vibe combined with wooden features and white walls makes the factory aesthetic a cool but also inviting place to spend some time with friends for wing night or with family and friends eating, drinking, and celebrating for a special event! Mike, Erin, Rudy, and Arlisa welcomed me and my ideas with open arms for two events in their dock room, which comfortably holds 30-40 people. They were easy to communicate with, stayed true to their word, and made sure that our hearts and bellies were satisfied! Check out the details below or just go to check out their space! Note that both businesses have 2 locations- this one is on Success Dr off of SR 54 in Trinity/Odessa- it's at the front of and industrial park which makes it very chill but also pretty unique! My only regret- in all the hustle and bustle- I didn't get enough photos of the beautiful people, the space, or the amazing food at either event! (Always designate a photographer when you are in charge of events ) First, they were ready for 25 teachers of every age to enjoy some beverages and wings on Wednesday wing night for our DKG end-of-year gathering and meeting. Our bartender, Dani, who is also a teacher, was as perfect as possible with service and smiles! The wings made my Buffalo Girl heart proud! Now, if you've ever celebrated with a group of teachers, you know it can get pretty loud with laughter and crazy stories- the dock room as a perfect place for us because it offered some privacy while still being in the mix of the bar! Next, we had my daughter's graduation celebration in the dock room and it was a blast! Rudy and Arlisa, with Havana Dreamers, provide the menu regularly at the Factory but they also cater events- every tray was amazing- from the perfect ranch on the veggie tray to the Cubans that you HAVE to try (we had a brunch Cuban, the Tampa Cuban, and the well-loved Godfather!), pastry perfection, pretzel bits and beer cheese, and biscuits and perfect gravy! Our friends and family got to visit, celebrate, play all the games they have to offer to any customer, and enjoy the best food and drinks around! The Rambler is the best amber around and the Get Ya Day Started was great for a brunch-time celebration! It was a high school graduation, with kids, so they also had a ton of sodas and teas- from Jaritos and birch beer bottles to large cans of Coca Cola products. We also had a coffee station provided with the food- perfect Cuban coffee! Our bartenders were part of the party, too, because they were so personable and attentive- thanks to Chris who delivered picture-perfect hospitality from the moment we walked until we left with smiles, and to Shayna for her support and humor! Long story that could be longer: Check out this spot- they have fun planned most days of the month (that you can see on the website). They have great listing of beers on tap (big fan of the Rambler). The food is a Cuban and Buffalo- staples mix- poutine, wings, and Nickel City Cubans in addition to a mix of bar offerings and Cuban deliciousness! You can even check out how the Brew Factory works- open air brewing in the back of the house! Hope to see you there!

Food is good especially the poutine. The service here is terrible, especially the red head (no name tags to catch their name) who is very condescending and seemed annoyed we were there until you're walking out the door. Beer glasses empty while both workers sat and chatted, the place wasn't packed, and waited forever for our check. Any question we asked she seemed annoyed we even asked, like what kind beer was available that we couldn't see the menu cause the print is small from the table we were sitting at. No ice for soft drinks for non drinkers. Don't try to use a pub pass at this location, this location uses ale trial unlike the location down the road. The place smells of grease and leaves you smelling like it. Beer is good and the food made for 3 this is a much different vibe then previous review.

We enjoy hanging out. Tonight is Karaoke Nigyt. People having fun. The Sharables (we had the Pretzel Bites) are wonderful. No matter what type of beer you prefer they have a match. All in a working Brewery. Join them! A solid B+

The Beer Factory has quickly become my husband and I's favorite place to stop for a beer or two whenever we just want to get out of the house for a bit. Their Beertenders are all amazing and always super quick to help refill your beverage. They are engaging and fun to chat with. We are so thankful they came in and spruced up the building. Plus we may sound biased but every beer they have on tap is good, which is hard to find at a brewery. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Well, let's talk about the Cheers of Odessa, where everybody knows your name. Thirsty Buffalo Brew Factory has quickly become our favorite haunt! The staff are amazing and friendly, truly bring a great atmosphere for a few drinks and good conversation. Moreover, the beers are amazing! So many great drinks and opportunities to hear from the master brewer. To boot, they've partnered with Havana Dreamers and have a great menu! Brunch is available once a month now and was delicious! Highly recommend everyone comes here, meet the staff and try their beverages.

The only thing that was good was the omelet station. The beef from the carving station was extremely rare, the chicken piccata and mashed potatoes were ice cold - no one was checking to see if the sternos on the chafing dishes were still lit (they weren't), and the desserts left a lot to be desired. Certainly not worth $45 per person plus a very generous tip. Our total bill was over $400! My entire family thought it was a terrible experience. Over the past decade I've played here numerous times and rarely been disappointed. However, the past two visits have been wildly disappointing and even infuriating. The disappointing part has been the upkeep of the course. I played the course in December and again this week and the greens are in very rough shape. They are patchy with seed speckled throughout. I realize it's been dry but several other nearby courses are keeping their greens well managed. The infuriating part was the pompous and belligerently rude ranger. The guy was a total jerk and everyone in my group (a group of guys I didn't know before the round) spoke to his demeaning behavior. I'm certainly no cupcake and the fellas I was playing with were physicians and a business owner, so I doubt they are either. We simply expected to be treated with respect. If you want a nice course just swing over to TPC or Dunedin, or save some cash and play Crescent Oaks right around the corner.

We were greeted at the door and taken right away to our table. It was Wednesday night, so it wasn't very busy. Our waitress was super attentive and offered a lot of advice on the menu. We each had something different to try, and each of us enjoyed our meal immensely. Their cute shell shaped butter was delicious, I guess it was a brown sugar butter, which offered just the right sweet on top of their warm bread. Our table enjoyed Caesar salad and the beet salad, both of which did not disappoint. The salads were offered in a small or large portion. The French onion soup was a relatively small portion, but when paired with the salad, it was a perfect meal. I was told the burger was one of the best they'd ever had, and the Parmesan potatoes were delicious. Both the scallop risotto and filet tips were hits too. We all cleaned our plates. It is listed as fine dining, and their prices definitely cater to that. I would recommend maybe a little brighter lights, but overall it was very cozy inside.

Pimento cheese is a fond childhood memory, so I had to try it. Very good! My husband ate all the tuna before I could try it! The complimentary bread with herbed butter was phenomenal! There were five of us at dinner. Each of us ordered either the scallops or the filet. The filet was truly the most tender steak I've ever eaten. Service was efficient. Not overly personable, not rude. My only negative feedback for this restaurant is that it is definitely somewhere you go for an experience or date night, not if you're hungry. I'm fine with paying a premium for good food but I shouldn't leave hungry. Plates that cost $60 per plate should fill me up and come with a salad, in my opinion. It was a nice experience.

I truly didn't think this could happen to me but it did. I was consistently told by this venue that once you put your deposit down, that secures your date. Great! We had our deposit put down and I got confirmation of it being received. The contract for my fiance and I to sign was sent out, with our date in the contract, and we sign it. Six minutes later after we both sign the contract online, I get a call from their office assistant saying "our managers had miscommunication and that date is actually taken and a different bride had to reschedule and take that date". When I tell you my mouth dropped and my heart sunk, I thought there's no way. Messing with the date of a wedding is not something small to brush off...this is something huge yet they somehow screwed it up. It gets even better with the fact that their assistant said they had a meeting with management and they could not compromise. I chose a date in off peak season, which qualifies for a discount, and on a Saturday at the end of September for a CERTAIN reason. So when I put down my deposit, and between the contract stating the date, "because the manager didn't sign it yet" it was not set in stone. I WAS TOLD MULTIPLE TIMES MY DEPOSIT SECURES THE DATE. The fact that the management screwed up and couldn't help or compromise or give me whatever date I wanted at this point was honestly the most upsetting. It is clearly a money hungry venue with bad business practices. I obviously have never planned a wedding, this venue was perfect for our budget, and they just made this TEN times more stressful and hard on us. You should NOT be doing business like this and treat your brides this way. They then immediately voided my contract after they called me to tell me the date wasn't available. Please do not use this venue. If they can't get the scheduling correct for you and secure your date, imagine how you wedding is going to go. Yes, many people may have had great weddings here, but they do not have good business practices by treating their renters this way after a mistake on THEIR part.

Unfortunately, our dining experience didn't quite live up to the recommendations. We ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time, but our food took about 45 minutes to arrive, and our appetizers didn't come out until the exact same time as our entrees. Since we had ordered simple appetizers like chips and queso and ceviche, it was a little disappointing that they weren't served first. When I asked about it, I was told the kitchen was backed up. Our server was pleasant, but she wasn't very attentive throughout the meal. There were a few times we had to get up and find her just to get drink refills or an update on our food. I completely understand that restaurants can have off days, and even the people I was dining with--who visit often and usually rave about this place--mentioned that this experience was out of the ordinary. As for the food, the ceviche wasn't my favorite, and my shrimp tacos were a bit over-fried. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially considering how highly the restaurant had been recommended. That said, the location and atmosphere are absolutely beautiful, and based on how much the locals seem to love it, I'm hoping this was just an off day rather than the norm.
