Jim's daughter Karissa worked here part time for years. He has a fond memory of a "Big Bad" Pinot noir. "Best I've ever had.", he states. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A very attractive space, the chairs are comfortable and there are many options for wine, beer and home made sangrias.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice soundtrack playing, sports on the TV.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Some friends of mine were here from New York so we decided to visit Tarpon Springs one of the days. My favorite shops are in the plaza with the Wine at the Docks store so we started at that end and as we were leaving the Tea and Spice store, it started to pour. What better way to wait out the rain than to have a glass of sangria at Wine at the Docks? [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store has moved to the end of the plaza where the old aquarium used to be. It is a much bigger space and a nice space, I am sure, for happy hour as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sampled some wine, had some of the sangria and purchased some cool wine, themed merch. Our bartender was super friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely stop here on an afternoon at the docks!

5 Stars: Sangria Shenanigans and Pirate Antics on the Sponge Docks - A Sip of Greek Magic! Oh, Tarpon Springs, you salty siren of the sea! This past weekend, my girlfriend Ivana and I sailed into Wine at the Docks like two love-struck pirates chasing a fruity treasure map. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nestled in the heart of the world-famous Sponge Docks (where the air smells like feta dreams and salty adventures), this boutique wine haven is equal parts cozy nook and flavor fiesta.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Picture this: bougainvillea-draped walls, the gentle lapping of the Anclote River outside, and a vibe so chill, even the sponges would blush.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We kicked things off with the star of the show - the sangria flight! Five glorious goblets of rotating ruby elixir, each one more tantalizing than the last. The Sangrito? A sassy sangria-mojito mashup that had us giggling like tipsy mermaids - zesty lime, minty whispers, and a boozy hug that screams "summer fling!" Ivana declared it her new spirit animal (she's a sucker for anything that fizzes with citrus), and I? Well, I got so swept up in the moment, I stood on a chair, fashioned a paper napkin into a pirate hat, and let out a hearty "Argh, matey, this be the finest sangria in all the seven seas!" (The other patrons clapped, so I'm basically a local legend now.) Tasty? Honey, these weren't just tasty - they were a flavor rebellion, plotting to overthrow your boring old rosé. Non-wine drinkers beware: one flight and you're hooked, begging for an encore. They poured us complimentary tastings of local gems and ouzo-infused oddities faster than you can say "opa!" We snagged a bottle of something bubbly to take home, because why let the party dock when you can bottle the buzz? If you're wandering the docks dodging tourist traps (looking at you, overpriced baklava stands), detour here for a quirky escape that'll have you toasting to more weekends like this. Ivana and I left floating on a sangria cloud, with me still sporting my makeshift pirate hat - 10/10, would dock again. Prost to the docks!

Cool spot that offers locally created wines and some good stuff from other regions as well. The bartender took us on a fun ride while he let us try 3 wines explaining each in detail and he was spot on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Picked one and enjoyed ourselves. Nice and relaxing[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

The large pink building has a set of shops where Wine at the Docks is located. It's a quaint little place that houses many local flavors and it gives you a variety through a mini tasting tour as well. Since I did not have a lot of time, I could not take the tour so I grabbed a couple of bottles for the trip home. I like ALL wine so I didn't care what it tasted like. I just wanted something local from that region to commemorate my trip with friends back home. The ship's owner is a lovely and friendly person who welcomed me in with a small plastic cup to at least try one. I was so glad because it was the hurricane wineI brought home. Tarpon Springs is such a lovely place to visit with lots of history and local flare. I highly recommend checking out Wine at the Docks for a lovely sip and allow the locals to share stories with you. It will make your trip more interesting and enjoyable.

Had to come in and check the place out since they had free wine tasting! I love that I could sample before I buy. Made my choice so much easier. As soon as I saw the Mama Guava wine I knew it has to be good. I asked if I could sample and it was absolutely delicious! I bought 1 bottle and will definitely be getting more on future trips.

2 flights that they do for you based on what you like!

The new owners are super nice. They rearranged the store and the wine tasting area is super big. They always have a few sangrias, and I love the flights they offer. Their Georgia wine is absolutely beautiful! They have a lot of wine for every taste!

Nice little bar with many local specialty brews on tap.

    Glass of Sangrito!

My boyfriend and I went out to Dunedin for an exploration date day and saw a sign for free wine tasting and went on it! They helped me find some reds I actually like which has been hard for me! One of the owners was there and it had small town vibes where people knew each other, yet fun for out of towners to explore too! The sangrias (the owner who wasn't there makes) will even have non-wine drinkers coming back for more! I was obsessed with the Sangrito (a sangria mojito!) so refreshing and yummy and not too sweet! I loved their license plate signs too, cool and unique! Would definitely stop there again when in Dunedin!

This was a great place to stop for a rest after an afternoon of shopping. Our wine server was friendly and well versed in her wine products. The sampling experience really helped us decide which wine to purchase. It was a fun experience.

    Store inside.

We were greeted at the door and taken right away to our table. It was Wednesday night, so it wasn't very busy. Our waitress was super attentive and offered a lot of advice on the menu. We each had something different to try, and each of us enjoyed our meal immensely. Their cute shell shaped butter was delicious, I guess it was a brown sugar butter, which offered just the right sweet on top of their warm bread. Our table enjoyed Caesar salad and the beet salad, both of which did not disappoint. The salads were offered in a small or large portion. The French onion soup was a relatively small portion, but when paired with the salad, it was a perfect meal. I was told the burger was one of the best they'd ever had, and the Parmesan potatoes were delicious. Both the scallop risotto and filet tips were hits too. We all cleaned our plates. It is listed as fine dining, and their prices definitely cater to that. I would recommend maybe a little brighter lights, but overall it was very cozy inside.

Pimento cheese is a fond childhood memory, so I had to try it. Very good! My husband ate all the tuna before I could try it! The complimentary bread with herbed butter was phenomenal! There were five of us at dinner. Each of us ordered either the scallops or the filet. The filet was truly the most tender steak I've ever eaten. Service was efficient. Not overly personable, not rude. My only negative feedback for this restaurant is that it is definitely somewhere you go for an experience or date night, not if you're hungry. I'm fine with paying a premium for good food but I shouldn't leave hungry. Plates that cost $60 per plate should fill me up and come with a salad, in my opinion. It was a nice experience.
