We were then informed that another group was in the room and they "didn't expect them to stay so long," so we were placed at a loud table by the bar with no privacy at all. From there, things only went downhill. There was no coordination of our meals, they forgot to bring the salads we had arranged for, drink orders were missed, and then we were told they had run out of steaks. For a planned group reservation, the service felt disorganized and chaotic. Overall, it was a complete mess, and I would not recommend this restaurant for large groups or for anyone counting on their reservation being honored.

We had great service and although it was blazing hot outside they do their best with a ton of fans to try and keep it bearable. It's a local watering hole that happens to have great food and staff. The people that complain on here about the establishment not having fried food should have checked the menu if that is such a big deal to them. One of these days when the weather cools off I'm looking forward to sitting at one of the back tables over looking the canal. For now we will continue to sit at the bar.
