Yum! Was in town picking up friends and of course we had to get a boba for the road. I love how it's sort of a secret entrance depending on which way you come in. We had to go through the pastry shop to enter Sipcha which tempted us to get some yummy pastries. The menu is extensive with plenty of options for any taste bud. I always love when boba spots have milk alternatives. I went classic and got the Brown Sugar boba. Delicious! The pearls were perfect and the tea flavor was very strong. We got here a little before opening and didn't realize it, the young lady let us in, which was super nice of her! A thousand stars for her!!! 10/10 on service. As always the space is super clean, we sat for a little to give the staff time to set up. Once she was set up she let us know that she was ready for us. I ordered the tropical punch with passion fruit popping boba and Lychee, and it was so refreshing! It was a tad sweet for my liking and the young lady was nice enough to give me some extra tea to balance out the sweetness! Every visit has been such a pleasant experience because of the young lady, she cashier's and makes the drinks, she also is always so good about offering recommendations! This looks like a perfect place to study! They have seating with plugs which is great. I got the matcha milk tea and it was okay. It was basically green tea and it tasted floral. I also got a boba design cake pop and it was also okay. It was a little too sweet for my taste and really expensive for the size and quality. Not enough cake and a lot of chocolate from the design. Sipcha is connected to the Tous Les Jours bakery in Southend. I was super excited for the opening of the boba shop. Hoping it would offer more seating options for bakery. While it does offer those seating options it also has some of their problems. During my latest visit I got two of their macarons as treats for the nibblings. I knew my nephew would want salted caramel and went out on a limb and got the Earl Grey. They didn't have many choices available so my adventurous decision was based off what was available. I tried the earl grey one and it was ok but definitely won't get it again. Nephew loved the salted caramel macaron. My barista was a gem but management wasn't such a pleasure. A great tea spot, but difficult to find for someone who isn't local. We could tell that we were in the right area from the exterior pictures on Yelp, but couldn't find a sign, door, or any other direction as to where Sipcha actually was located. Fortunately, we saw someone getting into their car holding two tall cups of tea and asked where they got it from. They instructed us to walk through the bakery. Oh, okay.......... Maybe there should be a sign on the front of the shopping center instructing customers to do that.......... The young lady who took our order was very polite, professional, and welcoming. She answered our questions with a smile and also shared suggestions. We shared that we were from So. CA, where there is a boba shop literally on every corner (more so than even Starbucks shops). I'm obsessed with SipCha! The interior is an absolute vibe with green accents, warm wood tones, gold details, and cute LED lights sprinkled throughout--it's such a cozy and inviting space. Choosing a drink was so hard because everything on the menu looked amazing. I usually stick to fruity bubble teas, but the staff encouraged me to try something different--and I'm so glad they did! I went with the Tango Mango (Jasmine Tea, Mango & Milk Cap) with peach popping boba. I liked the textures in the drink from the fruits and the sakura boba, which has a crunchy + chewy consistency similar to lychee jelly but is a little more soft. Went during the grand opening, the restaurant is connected to a Tous les Jours which is cool. The inside of the shop looks cool too, gives like an Asian, zen vibe. The drinks came out fast and the cashier knew how to answer our questions about the drinks. We also ordered the waffles which came out warm and really good in my opinion. I ordered the blue Hawaii and it was okay overall, more in the tart side. The rose milk tea was really good and was made at 50% sweetness. Delicious! We have gone multiple times and I have not been disappointed. They are a brand new bubble tea spot that opened this summer and I do hope they are able to keep up the quality. This is definitely a cute little quaint place & I'm here for it! First and foremost, this is located in Southend, right behind the Tours les jours bakery. It's all connected. SipCha does have its own entrance located in the back with more parking spaces rather than the front of the building right off South Blvd. I was greeted immediately and warmly by the cashier (failed to get her name) and was given great recommendations and explained everything in detail. I tried out their seasonal Watermelon Slush, which came with Milk Cap. The juice itself was SUPER REFRESHING on a hot summer day as today. It was not so sweet. Now, unfortunately, I did not like the Milk Cap foam AT ALL! it literally tasted like sea water to me. It was so salty. Thankfully, the foam did not mix into my drink, so I was able to drink the juice and avoid the foam. Other than that, it was delicious! They do have a couple of tables to sit at and quietly work or read (as i did) & not be bothered. It doesn't seem like a place that could get rowdy and make you feel uncomfortable. Great spot in Southend! My husband and I stopped in today to try this spot. Firstly, everyone was so friendly! We walked in through Tous Les Jours and they directed us to the back where we entered Sipcha and were immediately greeted. The staff answered our questions and we landed on a peach fruit tea and a milk chai tea. Both were delicious! The interior was just right and we were able to sit and enjoy our drinks. Best boba/bubble tea in Charlotte, and it's not even close. The space is in the back of Tous Les Jours and you can access it either by walking through TLJ or from the back entrance. I've had the ube taro drink multiple times now, and they use REAL ingredients for so much if not all of their drinks! The ube taro drink had ube halaya, for example, and you can see them slicing fruits in the back often. My lychee jade tea drink also had cut up lychee also floating around! My friends who are also Asian transplants from big cities all agree this place is super good. For me, it's among the best boba drinks I've ever had, even on the west coast!
