I love Sharetea and I also love their new location in Charlotte. It's a nice, clean spacious interior and also welcoming. Once I walked in I immediately smell the fresh boba being made so it was a plus lol. My friend and I got their wintermelon tea (80% sweet) with herbal grass jelly. It was amazing and refreshing! I stopped by for the first time on Tuesday, 05-28-24. I had water, but it was hot & I wanted something else cold and refreshing. I was torn between the mango and passion fruit green tea and the tea with kiwi and some type of jelly. The young lady taking my order suggested the mango and passion fruit because she didn't like the kiwi seeds. This one had what I believed to be passion fruit seeds in it, but seeds don't bother me at all. I went with her suggestion of mango & passion fruit green tea. I did 50% sweetness. The tea was soo good & with plenty of sweetness. At a price of $6.25, this would just be an occasional splurge. I'd definitely return to try other flavors and drinks. read more

My son loves this Share Tea spot. This is his favorite Boba tea place in Charlotte. It was his birthday so he wanted everyone in attendance to order a Boba tea in celebration of his birthday. We had quite a large order about 18 drinks and although the workers did their best to accommodate us, they got a few orders wrong, and they also ran out of the pearls that go inside some of the drinks. They told us it would be about a 20 minute wait to get more, but this was after several of our drinks were made: we didn't want the drinks that were made to get watered down so we opted for alternate selections. So needless to say we didn't get the full Share Tea experience that my son bragged about. Would I give Share Tea another try? Absolutely but not with such a big order. read more

My nephew wanted everyone to have boba tea for his birthday, and this is his favorite place. So over $200 later, here I sit. While the service staff was super polite Sharetea doesn't do custom blends and I was wholly disappointed with my brew. I tried many other combinations on this night of endless boba, and I wasn't wild about [any] of them. They do offer customization of sweetness and ice, so well done! I don't think think this place is prepared for large orders, because right in the middle of our orders.... They ran out of boba!!!! They also don't have drink carriers. You will pay about seven bucks plus tip for each drink. They're all the same size. There is a generous shared parking lot. There was one gender neutral restroom, and I saw board games for patrons to play. While it was a chill vibe and the place was spotless, I doubt I would ever come back. My wife and I showed up a couple of minutes prior to the store closing (around 8:53pm) the door were opened but the employees didn't even greet us and when we approached the register they told us they were close and we no longer serving customers. When we asked if their hours of operation had change me they said no and that they were just getting ready to close therefore not serving customers no more. read more

My daughter and I tried this place for the first time. We walked in on a Monday evening. There was no one waiting. This place had a great location, it is located in the shopping center right across from UNCCHarlotte. It was clean and nice to sit inside with ample seating if you wanted to sit inside. There are no food or edible snacks on the menu, only drinks. Menus are placed on the counter with a variety of pictures for you to visualize what your drink would look like. Also, there is a large menu board behind the counter. There are a ton of options to choose from. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable with all of the questions that we had. My daughter got a milk tea and I opted for one of the fruit teas. They both were delicious! I can't wait to go back and try other options. read more

The tea is good, but what really shined at this location was the customer service. Maylene at the register was so kind and welcoming. I don't know a lot about boba drinks, but I was able to tell her what I liked and she was able to help me come to a perfect selection. Usually when I order boba I never know if I will like it or not but, her patience and selflessness has really changed the whole experience. As an avid milk tea lover, when I saw there was a new tea shop opened I had to stop in. Upon entering, the location is very clean, minimal and with neutral colors. I ordered my go to, a taro milk tea with tapioca pearls (a classic). It was good, I wish the tea had a stronger taro flavor. I will say they did give a generous amount of tapioca pearls. As far as customer service, it was fine. They had plenty of workers (as they just opened). The restaurant was clean and can't wait to come back and try the coffee crema. read more

Sharetea is one of my favorite bubble tea chains because it's consistent in quality across the board at their locations, at least from my experience. My partner picked up drinks for us to have during our lunch date at Bojangle's. I ordered the classic Pearl milk tea with oolong tea, and they respected my request for no sugar and no ice. I also added pudding as an ingredient, and I love that the tapioca pearls were what sweetened my drink. I also love how generous the amount of tapioca in my drink is, and this drink in particular came with tapioca which is a bonus. They were efficient and accurate with our orders and accommodating to our requests. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink from this location in University City, and it's so exciting to see more bubble tea options here. I'd totally come back again if I'm in the area, and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for traditional Taiwanese style bubble tea. read more

This is the best option for bubble tea in the university area. However, they don't have the drinks that I like so I won't go back to it. They don't have jasmine green tea and the fresh taro is blended in the handmade fresh taro drink so you can't taste it. It is also very sweet so I chose the 0% sugar; you can only pick 100% or 0% sugar. The pearls had a good consistency though.
