It was my first time here with my friend, the owner was very sweet & helpful to all the questions we had. The prices are amazing, one of the cheapest boba places i've been to. The owner let us taste test our drink before sealing it to see if the sweetness was good enough. I will definitely be coming back, there are no complaints! It was small inside but very cute. As a boba lover, this was very high in my ranking of places.

Now called Jilly Jelly Boba and Snow!! Visiting from San Francisco, I wanted to get some (real) boba tea. Stopped by here and this is a LEGIT boba place to visit (boba is SUPER popular in SF). We visited on New Year's Day, so it was quiet and the owner was super helpful in helping my friend choose his first boba tea drink. I was torn between Hokkaido or Matcha Milk tea and she recommended Hokkaido. While making our drinks, she let us sample our teas and each drink was SO good - seriously just like home!! I'm not a boba snob, but, I can taste the difference between a good boba shop and a so-so boba shop. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this place and if I ever come back to NC, I'll be sure to visit Jilly Jelly Boba and Snow again!! Best of luck to you in 2024, Jilly Jelly!!!

The new owner Janice is amazing!! OMGGGGGGG their bubble Hong Kong style waffles are to die for!!!!! It's been a few years since I had them ever since leaving NYC Chinatown and Flushing. Moving here from NYC flushing Queens 3yrs ago and it's been hard to find good authentic chinese food and groceries let alone a good boba spot BUT this newly opened Boba shop is a must try and highly recommended!!! The owner is taiwanese and a lifetime New Yorker before moving down here to open her own boba café. This explains why the drinks are not water down and has actual tea flavor, you must try her homemade snacks while you're in there!!!

I've been to A LOT of boba cafes...I always look for one when I visit a new place. This one was only a few minutes from me, so I decided to try it. The first thing I noticed is the smell of disinfectant that hit us when we walked in. Not a pleasant smell. Also, there isn't much seating. There are two cute swings hanging from the ceiling but they are too close to some other seats so we could just take a quick picture on a swing and left. The girls working were nice enough and quickly made our drinks...but the drinks weren't very good. I always order brown sugar boba and I usually love it...but this looked weird (there's a powder floating in it) and had little taste. Even the boba wasn't what I'm used to. They have a lot of other drinks, so maybe they are good...but I definitely wouldn't go back.

I love everything about this place! It is hands down the BEST boba we've found in charlotte. The owner is SO friendly and welcoming & the vibes inside are awesome! 10/10 recommend the peach green tea with the lychee jelly + tapioca!!

I don't really review places, but I had to review this one. Coming from California + being Taiwanese, there's a lot of things I miss while living in Charlotte. But like some of the other reviews say, this place is legit! Everything I've tried so far has been good, and I can get pretty picky with the texture of the boba and all that lol. You definitely have to try here. The owner is really nice too and the shop is cute. I always come here because we gotta support authentic small businesses instead of chains. Btw the place is called Jilly Jelly now

Very tasty and savory milk tea , owner is super sweet and accommodating to me dairy needs , welcoming atmosphere

Great service and welcoming atmosphere, the owner is very sweet and give great details on what jilly jelly has to offer .

lychee green tea and coconut pineapple slush w honey boba

One of the best boba tea places ever. Ts is sooo good, will definitely be back! The lady that helped us was so sweet and very helpful. The name is jilly jelly and not tealicious boba though!

Pandan Milk Green Tea & Dragonfruit Milk Green Tea

Very well done drinks that don't taste artificial at all with cute cat themed caps! The service is highly impressive as it's just one person behind the counter running the whole business. The aesthetic is also very cute especially the menus-- which noticeably has a lot of work put into it. As two art students (me and my boyfriend), we really enjoy the experience and the attention to detail to everything!

It's called Jilly Jelly now, and it was amazing. The owner greeted us and talked me through the options. My friend is from CA, so she knew what to do and commented that this was a true Boba shop. I got the strawberry lemonade with Lychee, and it tasted so good. Come check this place out.

Boba tea was great! Very flavorful and not too sweet. Some of the flavors are real steep yea and fruits. Those were the ones I got. The tea rung off half off since I guess it's still their grand opening weekend. Inside is very nice and clean

    Fruit tea

I'm so impressed that they have this authentic fruit tea. Defiantly can't miss this place when visiting Matthew.

The store has been remodeled. I ordered Matcha Mango Latte as always (but Matcha flavor got weak). It was good. I just wonder the owner was changed??

The egg tarts & sesame balls are excellent too. Definitely will be a haunt for me when I'm in the area. This is also locally owned so support your small mom & pop businesses.

I literally drove up and down the shopping plaza and almost gave up. I pulled into a parking spot, looked at reviews, scrolled and scrolled and bam! Someone was super helpful with where it was actually located. So now, I felt the need to put that as the first thing to read on the review haha. There's plenty of parking! Just beware of your surroundings, there were a few homeless people walking around begging/going up to cars. Definitely seems like this is an overall ongoing issue in Charlotte as a whole. The market is massive but I didn't buy anything from the store. I definitely wanted to buy some snacks from different countries in Asia but I had sushi leftovers in the car so I was trying to make it a quick trip. I made my way to the very right side of the store where the bakery and food stands were. The cashier was friendly and I ordered quite a bit of bakery items including a taro bun, red bean cream bun, macaroons, a cookie, and a Thai tea with boba. Everything was delicious, no complaints! I do wish more things were in stock but being that everything tasted great, I'm sure Hong Kong Bakery gets a lot of traction. This is a great small bakery. The location is hard to find but just remember...it's inside the grocery store. When you enter the building, turn right, and go all the way straight until you pass the cash registers and home goods section. You'll see it! Enjoy!

For me as a Venezuelan, I really appreciate the Venezuelan snacks, harina PAN for the arepas and the Venezuelan cheeses. Super G Mart on Independence is one of Charlotte's most fun grocery adventures…read more If you love exploring new ingredients, discovering international snacks, or simply wandering through aisles you've never seen before, this place is worth the trip. While the Pineville location remains my favorite thanks to its larger food hall and dining options, the Independence store still delivers an impressive experience. The selection is enormous. You'll find fresh produce from around the world, exotic fruits and vegetables, live seafood, blue crabs, an on-site fishmonger, and a full-service butcher counter. The international grocery selection is where this store really shines. Aisles are packed with staples from across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and beyond. Whether you're shopping for Thai curry paste, Vietnamese rice noodles, Japanese snacks, Korean sauces, Spanish ingredients, or Eastern European treats, chances are you'll find it here. One feature I especially enjoy is the freezer section. The cases are organized by country and cuisine, making it easy to browse and discover new foods. It's a small detail, but it turns grocery shopping into a bit of an adventure. On this visit, I came specifically for Korean black bean paste, dark soy sauce, and fresh green beans. Naturally, I left with a few extras. The candy aisle is dangerous in the best possible way. Their coconut candies are always tempting, and I can never resist grabbing a bag of Thai coffee candies while I'm there. The store has a large private parking lot and a loyalty program that offers additional discounts at checkout. If you're a frequent shopper, it's worth signing up. Is it as polished as some specialty markets? No. Is it one of the most interesting grocery stores in Charlotte? Absolutely. Give yourself time when you visit. This isn't the kind of place where you run in for one item and leave five minutes later. It's a place to wander, explore, and discover something new around every corner. Life is too short not to eat well, Charlotte. Grab a cart, take your time, and eat your way through Super G Mart.
