I was originally planning on coming to a cafe to do work but I realized I was hungry so I looked around and this place caught my eye because I love a smoothie. I got the orange passion smoothie - there was a variety of options but I lean towards anything with mango. I got a spicy grilled cheese to eat. The smoothie was so yummy and I could taste the ginger in it which was the perfect "amount". And the grilled cheese was so good, and it was spicy, the only thing I wish was tomato soup with this. And service wise, the lady was polite and did a good job packing my order. read more

My mom and I popped into Sipp today for smoothies during the busy Farmington Founders Festival and were surprised to find the place empty. There were no employees at the front counter, though a bell was available to summon assistance, suggesting staff are often in the back. We rang the bell and a couple of teen girls came out from the back a few moments later. We ordered two basic smoothies, and the total came to nearly $20. For comparison, we could've gotten the same thing for around $15 at Beyond Juice just down the street. While the smoothies were good, there are three smoothie spots in the area and the other two offer better value and service. Between the high prices and the unengaged staff, I'm not sure I have much of a reason to return. read more

Yesterday was the grand opening of SIPP. It's in an ideal location on the corner of Grand River Avenue and Farmington Road. There should be lots of foot traffic, especially on the weekend when the farmers market is open. My Orange Passion smoothie was a bit pricey but it did taste fresh and healthy. Real fruit, not powder, is used in its smoothies. I could taste the fresh ginger and bits of fruit. This is a good place for healthy drinks and salads in downtown Farmington. read more

I tried to support local businesses but I will not be coming back to this one. The staff were dry, and the açai bowl I got was a little shy of 20 bucks. I live in LA and I have never paid that much for a bowl. It was good but it all melted by the time I got out to the car and it wasn't that hot, and she moves very slow. I like to see people make it but not like this. I hope that this message reaches them and they take this criticism in a positive way. P.S. they wanted extra money for peanut butter. read more

Today I ordered a 'kids size' smoothie because i did not want a large smoothie this time. I was told I could not order it because I was not a kid. I was prepared to pay for the smoothie. WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD SIPP!! It was about time this vacant part of town was filled and I'm so excited for your business! The smoothies are a nice treat for a hot day and it's a short walk from the Farmington library. Parking is always a bit tight on this side of downtown (right next to the shop) but there's a big lot behind them with plenty of spots to park. The menu is a bit hard to read but they have great options to choose from (chalk markers can help with fine print!) I'll be back to try their raw juices next time :) read more

If I could give 0 I would, not sure who the woman was that waited on me but, she does not have any people skills. I hope she is not the owner! I was looking forward to having a place to go for smoothies since it's right down the street from where I live but, that's not about to happen. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and does not talk to all of her customers the way she spoke to me for asking a question about something for sanitary reasons because, I cannot she over the counter. She is very condescending. I paid for my smoothie on my card and it was processed she ask me did I want a refund I said yes however, I did not get a receipt for the refund. I was looking forward to a nice healthy breakfast as I arrived. I was not in a hurry and there was only one person in front of me. I ordered two celery juices and a wrap. It took 20-25 minutes for the juices. I saw my sandwich was done after about 15 minutes, but they had not offered it to me so I had to ask. Then they didn't have enough celery for two juices, so we got one celery juice and one celery, kale, and spinach. The juices and the wrap were good, but it was ridiculous how much time it took. They will not be in business long with this kind of service. read more

I have ordered here a few times. We do like their food and açaí bowl. Today, I ordered online for a pickup 30 minutes prior to close. As I arrived 3 minutes before pickup, I got a text message that my order was cancelled and the door of the store was locked with a handwritten paper scrap taped to door saying "be back in a few minutes". I purchased a Groupon. Paid $10 for $20 worth of food. I stopped by today to redeem my Groupon. The merchant said I have to purchase 3 smoothies first. That is not what Groupon stated. I called before I came to see if they had a chocolate smoothie. Got dressed only to be told there was a typo and I can't get a juice or food as stated in the ad. Place is dead looking. My friend & I had been wanting to try this place out and we were so excited we did. When we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome from one of the managers (Lee Lee). We let her know this was our first time and there was a family of four who shared with us their favorites. We were provided samples to try of the Hulk & You go, Glenn Cocco. Never in a million years would we have thought that would even taste good but between the smoothies and the Toasted Perfection we definitely recommend SIPP & will be back. I've tried to give this juice place a go three different times. We have ordered smoothies and raw juices as well as wrap sandwiches and grilled cheese. The juice is ok. The sandwiches were not. To start out with the lady behind the counter is never very friendly. That's hard to swallow when you're paying 10 bucks for a cuppa juice. But I was willing to let that slide. People have different personalities. The service is incredibly slow. We are usually the only customers there. So it makes for a long wait. The chalk written menu is almost impossible to read. In the background there are inappropriate music videos playing on the TV as well as inappropriate lyrics for a family establishment. This actually caused me to leave last time. When I bring my children there I don't want images of scantily clad individuals on a big screen as well as swear words being listened to in the music. We are a family who absolutely loves supporting local businesses. I was excited that it was right by the library where we visit several times a week. Now I know why it seems like it's always empty. The rewards program is awful. You have to spend tons of money just to get a little shot of juice. Fortunately for us there is another juice place around the corner that is quicker and much friendlier. Bigger menu. And they have great coupons and rewards just for signing up through the app. And it's the right amount of busy. read more
