I couldn't resist the nachos since they came with pepperjack cheese. I enjoyed them a lot and it was easy to share. My husband debated between the chicken pot pie and Mac and cheese and ended up with the pasta. We all thought it was delicious but he felt it was a small portion size. They would look at me strangely and say " really, you want to go to Hy-Vee for breakfast" I would Rave about how good their food actually is for being a grocery store Cafe. I can safely say that not one of my friends ever left disappointed. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Things aren't what they used to be. Even before the rise of prices of eggs for some unknown reason they decided to switch to the eggs you get from a carton. Very fake tasting and never really cooked that good. They went from using real mushrooms in their omelets to the cheap stuff you get in the can. They used to have very delicious sliced potatoes that would taste like heaven, but now you can only get hash browns that are very Bland. In closing, pretty sad when a cafe in a grocery store can't make your omelet with real eggs. Things aren't what they used to be. Still very friendly service.
