On my quick walk through the store, I could see it was clean, well-stocked, and organized. A number of people were at their bakery case on that Saturday morning, which bodes well for delicious things. I found the cheese right away, and the selection was fantastic with a good variety of imports, local makers, and some of Wisconsin's finest. I found some new ones to buy, which pleased me greatly. I would love to come here again in the future, and perhaps explore more of the store.

When the kind folks showed us where they were located, we were happy to see them but at the same time somewhat surprised as they were not what we were expecting. They looked like a dinner roll with some fruit filling. Well, maybe these are traditional. We ordered a couple of apply kolackys, a raspberry croissant, a cinnamon crunchy roll and a peanut ball. Sadly the kolacky was not what we expected. It tasted similar to a dinner roll with apple filling. Not bad, just not what we have previously enjoyed. The other items were good. I mean c'mon, I don't know that we've ever had a bad doughnut. Just ask Homer Simpson. Our favorite was the cinnamon cream cheese roll. We didn't get any cream cheese flavor otherwise this roll was crunchy with the pleasant taste of cinnamon. This was just our first stop on our road trip. We really enjoy small towns and bakeries so I'm sure we'll visit next time we are in the area as we can always eat a doughnut or three.
