LOVE SIPS. I've been back in town three days and have already had Sips two of them... Prices, fabulously affordable. Drinks, well crafted and fun. Cookies, to die for. (...except the chocolate cheesecake cookie... Not my fav.) I find myself ordering the Madster (Dr. Pepper w/vanilla, creme, and coconut) most regularly as well as the Twisted sugar cookie (sugar cookie with coconut frosting and a lime wedge to squeeze on top). Let's be real: the pretzels are frozen and the cookies are refrigerated. These aren't "grandmas" cookies. That being said, the cookie and soda menus are impressive. I took a long time to read the menu, which didn't sit well with the brunette girl behind the counter. She responded to my questions as if I was bothering her. My husband finally walked out because of her and was surprised that I stayed behind and placed an order. We had been driving four hours already and I wanted a treat, so I endured her abusive treatment. I can tell the owner tried to set up a cute shop, so I hope others are treated nicer so the place stays open. I assumed they were short staffed due to covid and waited patiently for service [to order 1 soda, pretty simple right?] and a brunette girl finally comes to the window and just stands there and stares at me. I attempted to read her mind/her face and ask for a soda and got absolutely no where. She was rude in telling me they "have a speaker back there" and then continued with the silence and put-off stance. I left. I am visiting from out of town and and my friend who lives here took me through the Sips drive through. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie as I am a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, so I had to try! I mean, if I don't like a chocolate chip cookie, I will throw it away. :-) I have probably tried thousands. The cookie was AMAZING. I ate the whole dang thing and it was big. I will definitely come back for this treat next time I am in town. As a note, it was room temperature by the time I ate it. I ordered four dozen of their "Party Cookies" and was very disappointed with how small they are (about 1/4 the size of the regular cookie and not worth the price!) Nowhere on their menu does it specify that the "Party Cookies" are a different size than the regular cookies. The obvious assumption would be that it is the price for ordering in bulk (i.e. a party) The biggest issue was when I called to discuss my disappointment that it wasn't clear on the menu or that the size was extremely small, the manager on duty seemed she couldn't care less. They need to define "party cookie" on their menu and not charge so much for what is literally a single bite. My advise: Go to Crumble. Their mini-cookies are 30% less! read more

This place is officially my favorite because of their Pepsi. They have a variety of drinks and meals with a little twist. You would have to come in and check it out for yourselves. This was my first time trying Sips and very disappointed, I doubt they will be able to compete with Crumbles for very long, which is sad since they are local . I walked in, took several minutes for someone to come from the back and take my order which was only 2 cookies, I paid and then she went in back to get them, several minutes later slid what looked like a paper fry container across the counter at me and said something I didnt hear or understand and disappeared to the back... I wasnt sure if that was it or not so waited a few min then left carrying this open little tray wondering how not to dump them in my car. THEN tasted them and it was 2 ice cold nearly frozen cookies straight from the fridge, nothing like their advertised " fresh baked" , in comparison to the warm fresh cookies from Crumbles, its an easy decision ... sorry Sips was hoping for a nice treat , closer to home , but definitely need some customer service and not ice cold cookies read more

I tried 6 different cookies. I loved the raspberry white chocolate one and the regular sugar cookie. I went in and there is not much seating. They were really slow getting my cookies and the kid at the register helped get the cookies but he put on a glove and then he pulled it off with his teeth and shoved it in his pocket. Sips is a spot you go to for cookies. Now, I've been to many bakeries and cookie shops. Normally, cookies are warm or room temperature. At Sips, expect a cold cookie. That threw me off. Sure, they add frosting to the cookie, but I don't like cold cookies. Perhaps my taste differs from the people in Idaho, but that's just me. With this in mind, I can't recommend these cookies. There are other pastry shops in Twin that can deliver. Although this is not for me, those that like cold cookies may enjoy this place. read more

This is my honest review of my personal experience. I won a Sips and Sweets basket at a charity event with a gift card, and decided to stop by and check the place out after a friend told me how great their dirty sugar cookie was. It is right off Blue Lakes and although it has a great drive-thru option, I wanted to see the display case, so I parked in the back and led my two kids around the parking lot to the front. The decor is cute, and they have outdoor and indoor seating. However, I was picturing more of a full on candy and treat shop, with a large display case filled with goodies to choose from (like the one in Willy Wonka). Instead, there was just a counter with a glass plate and cover, where five cookies and a cupcake are displayed. There was a huge menu display on the wall with a bunch of drinks, which I learned after is what it is best known for. Disappointed in my choices already, I read over their cookie list, but the very nice man behind the counter informed me they were out of everything except for two types of cookies and one type of cupcake. Fine, it was about five in the afternoon, I could accept that, so I placed my order, only to have him come back and tell me that they only had two of the second type of cookie. Still, I said that's fine. So, he boxes up my cookies, but then, he's asking someone else if they have something to put the cupcakes in so they don't fall over...in my head I wonder, why don't they have cupcake containers? No idea, but the very nice lady took each cupcake and put them in an upside down soda cup, which is actually pretty smart. Except, now I have to balance four soda cups on top of the cookie container and hold my kids hands. I asked her if she had a bag, and she said no. When my total came out to just a few cents over my giftcard, I offered to buy a wrapped cookie from this shelf display so I wasn't using my debit card for just a few cents (I didn't have any cash on me) and the lady told me, "oh no, that's old. We just put it out there to display our wrapping. Don't worry about it." I thought that was a little weird, since it was just wrapped in a plastic bag with their logo, but like I said, they have a very nice staff. However, this would not be a place I went to again. I will say that the cupcakes did have a nice frosting and the actual cake was very moist, even a day later, but their cookies were not as tasty. In conclusion; cute atmosphere, friendly staff, but the experience was just awkward, frustrating and not what I was expecting. read more
