Finally found a groomer worth a return visit. Our schnauzer is our baby and we literally spend more on his haircuts that we do on our own! He's a pretty pampered pup to say the very least. We've been to just about every groomer on the west side of town and Sir Theodore's is the ONLY place we've wanted to take him back to. Getting an appointment has been easy so far and they seem to take good care of our baby when he's there. His haircut looks great and he's a happy pup, so we are happy pup owners. read more

Sir Theodore's is awesome. My dog Panini has been to several locations in the Nashville and surrounding areas. They trimmed her perfectly and made her look like a puppy pomeranian again. Easy to get her in, listened to my trimming needs and she was done in 2 hours. Great place and I will continue being a customer of theirs! read more

This place is great, I take my dog here to get his hair cut. They do a great job and don't put any tacky bows or bandanas on my dog which I appreciate. He also boards pets but I've never tried. The price for my dog is about $60. He is not very clear on the phone, but neither am I. Every time I call it is "WHAT?" "WHAT?!" "WHAT?" as neither of us can understand each other. read more

I had a camera on so I was able to watch (when I had the chance). Throughout the week, my pets were neglected. Did not show up when she was supposed to. Left my pets for hours and hours. I was very upset. Seeing more recent 1-star reviews does not surprise me. Pay attention to the 1-star reviews. They are the most recent very accurate. All of the 5-star reviews are from when the previous owners of Good Mojo owned the business. Abby is not responsible, full of excuses and I would never trust her or her crew with my pets. I will not come back to this place again. 1) My dog had a scary wound in his nose when I picked him up. The staff blamed it on the crate and used "it happened to many dogs before so it's not a big deal" as the excuse (???). Her attitude was like I should just shut up and walk away with that, and they don't care whatever I would do. This is really unprofessional. If this type of injury commonly happens at your place, you should fix the crates instead of letting it happen constantly if you are serious about your pet care business. The staff insisted that this just happened shortly before the pickup so that's why I was not notified immediately. I held reservations about this because the wound had already dried and didn't look that fresh to me. After talking with the manager, they used the "inherent risks clauses" in the "dog parent agreements" to deny their responsibilities and get off the hook. 2) I prepared the exact number of meals my dog needed for the stay, each in a separate ziplock bag. But there was still one bag meal left, whereas their feeding record shows they fed the meals on time. No idea why. 3) His paws were dirty with some dried pet waste. Looked like his feet were soaked in the waste from time to time. I have all these reasons to believe my dog was not taken good care of during his stay. I DO NOT recommend this place.

But the staff makes it a point for them to reunite a few times throughout the day which we really appreciate. It's always great as well to hear them announce over the walkie talkies that my dogs are there and to here the staff get excited for them. Every time we get them back they are extremely tired from all the fun and stimulation. We've done daycare and boarding and never had any issues. Highly recommend this place!

While I understand why they would wish for dogs to be fixed, I hardly see the concern when the dogs are spending the night isolated alone in a suite. So long story short, call and get verified information from a manager before you go tour, and waste time doing the registration process.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been taking my multiple dogs here on and off for…read moreyears. But over the course of 6+ months, I was getting overcharged for my daycare 10-packs, to the tune of $1,020 (MINIMUM!). I understand mistakes: this is an easy one to make if front desk staff don't know how to charge proper rates (in this case, giving me my "multiple-dog" rate of a 50% discount for daycare passes/packages for the second dog). But what is completely unacceptible is how they handled the issue. I brought it to their attention after realizing how they "punch cards" for daycare, and that they were charging me full price for the second dog. The staff was completely ill-equipped to 1) FIND/VERIFY the issue (after hearing our concern that they said they couldn't verify if I was right by reviewing invoices, and the best they could do was print off 8 pages of hard-to-discern transactions to review, AND we only got the records after asking multiple times, AND they couldn't email the records; they made us come in and request a printed copy), and 2) provide adequate refund, and 3) act in any way apologetic or with an interest in correcting this as a customer service issue. They then referred us to the owner to take it up with him. We contacted the owner and his response via email was: "'I'm in Florida dealing with a sick family member dealing with breast cancer. I should be back in Nashville in 6 weeks. I'll look into this when I return." We respected his personal matter and waited 6 weeks. We've now contacted him twice since then, and still ave no response. We were referred to the OWNER, CHAD, on May 25, wrote him on that day, respected his privacy for 6 weeks, then emailed him twice, and it's now August 2 and we still have no resolution. This place is terrible. DON'T GO. There are SO MANY great dog service businesses in town where they care about their customers. Dog Spot is NOT one of them.

I like that too: understanding for things so completely outside my control that trust me I'm just as frustrated that I cannot get to my dog as I'm sure some of their staff are frustrated I am not there. I like the mutual understanding that we have. I see a couple of reviews on Yelp complaining about vaccinations outside the annual vaccinations required by your veterinarian. News flash: I have never, ever, ever visited a dog daycare/boarding facility in 3 different states that didn't require 6-month kennel cough updates and 6-month updates to fecal examines instead of the annual required by your veterinarian. So, Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana are all consistent across 10+ daycare/boarding facilities that require this.

He mentioned they usually start slow for first timers but I assured him she would be fine as I've been doing mini grooms AT HOME with clippers since she was 2-3 months. Fast forward Izzy calls me to let me know she is done. I ask if she tolerated the full groom and she says "no, my manager said you didn't want the full groom, just face, feet, and fanny." We hang up and Dillon calls back to say there was a miscommunication and Luna was "too tired" for a full groom. I literally brought her home and finished her entire body. I wasted $60 for something I do at home frequently. I will not be back.

They also tack on fees that show up a few days after you pay by card. Again, when you call to discuss, they don't answer or yell at you. PLEASE do NOT take your pets to this place! We thought they were wonderful at first, even after reading bad reviews. But, after a few trips we learned what others had warned about. The lady owner literally YELLED at my husband and told him not to come back and she would not change the amount to what ELI quoted us 3 times! She also said "Leave a bad review, I could care less about bad reviews." She blamed everything on ELI (front desk person) and then blamed us for caring about our dogs and questioning the huge price difference. People, I beg you to find another kennel for your fur babies. This place is NOT what is seems. I should have gone with my gut instinct when they refused to give us a tour and when the price was misquoted the first few times. They do not care about your dogs. It's just about money. Don't take my word for it or the word of those "fake" reviews or family friends. Go research and pull all the old reviews. Then a day before the owner reached out to ask how does she get to my apartment complex downtown since she typically doesn't work downtown due to parking (which I get since it can get annoying) so I explained how I can pay for valet parking and meet her in the garage to help her- d and she said "ok that's perfect!" Then on the morning of the groom she never showed up, I sent her text after text and no response and called a bunch of times. And I never heard a word!! Which was pretty strange I truly thought something maybe happened to her and I would hear from her the next day she had some emergency. But nope nothing!!!! Fast forward to today, I get a confirm my next appt text from this company and I was SHOCKED! Like you didn't even have the decency to call me back when you stood me up! So I said that. And then this owner made up a whole lie how she texted me and I never got it (yeah right) and she didn't answer my calls that morning because "I'm not a client" which makes no sense since she was supposed to be at my home grooming my dog! I just couldn't believe it!!! So I just wanted to warn people that unfortunately the professionalism is just not there with this business.

I get HOURS OF MY LIFE BACK PER WEEK + my dog wants to come to me when called since I'm not tanking on his mats all the time. Hind site, standard poodles are a LOT of work - noted - but I went thru a 2 month solid period of bad advice, bad brushes, so much time wasted and the heartache of watching the mats grow and your dog uncomfortable- the all th YANKING on the mats that won't come all the way out. I don't know how, but Alyssa got all the mats out, my dog is super soft and now I only have to brush him 10 minutes a day. We did add $135 per month expense for having a groomer come to our home but the alternative is 16 hours per month of yanking on my dogs mats. It was actually damaging our relationship and now hes more than happy to come when called UPDATE: 2nd groom, Alyssa DIDNT DISAPPOINT! She was here a llllong time, did nails, checked glands, did inside ears, washed for like an hour almost, blow out - she's just a pro!! 4/4/2020 review - thank you Alyssa for handing our 50lb Standard poodle like a boss! We had Alyssa come out - I get it - even tho we're all quarantined but, she'd been in the house for a few weeks like us, only to the store for food and she just stayed in our bathroom - safe for everyone - So Tux my pup KEEPS GETTING MORE AND MORE ADORABLE - She gave him the Asian Fusion poodle cut - each time Alyssa comes, Tux's cut brings us so much joy, he's so cute and soft after she leaves it's like laughter and smile therapy and so since we felt like she was taking the same precautions we are we had her come on our monthly schedule - just use wisdom and prudence to decide it was safe for all concerned.
