He helps out with everything and during the pandemic he would even help with having the groceries ready if I sent a list before hand. Recently they have delicious fresh food as well. I've been going to Siri for years. I'd like to say that me and Sunder (the owner) are somewhat friends now. We always went for a local Bartlett fix to our Indian food needs. At the time it was always previously prepared. The game has changed! They now have their own kitchen cranking out family recipes that are amazing!!! You can take your long drives or deliveries from Schaumburg or Army Trail road. I'm taking this 100% of the time. Oh, and it's like 50% less. Walked into Siri Grocery and was greeted with warm smile by Sundar Srinivas. Enquired about. Few chat items and ordered Samosa Chat and Aloo Tikki chat. Was surprised to hear when I was asked to wait for 15 minutes. Once the information sank in me I appreciated the fact that I am not getting stale food! I pulled up to my usual Indian grocery store to find a long line of customers waiting outside. I'm so glad I remembered Siri in Bartlett. This was only my second time there, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the store fully stocked with dry goods (including spices and flours), as well as a large frozen food selection. I came in for 3 items and left with a large box full of groceries. What will keep me coming back, despite the distance from my home, is the amazing customer service! The owner was so friendly and helpful. He helped me locate items, made recommendations and refused to let me carry my groceries to my car, instead loading them for me. The owner also informed me of their contactless curbside service- call ahead with your order, and leave payment in your truck for a fully contactless experience. I was excited to have finally found an indian grocery store somewhat nearby considering i live in St. Charles. I walked in holding a shopping list. I was greeted by the most helpful man i've ever met. He walked through and helped me with every single item i needed and gave suggestions on which spices to buy. I needed fresh items as well so as i walked around the store he went up front and set the fresh items aside for me. When it comes to outstanding customer service Siri Grocery nails it!!! I also bought samosas for my husband and he was out of a sauce my husband normally likes to enjoy them with. He gave me a business card and told me to call him next time i plan on coming in and he will make sure they have. I thought that was the most kindest gesture. I've been to several indian groceries within a 25 mile radius and I honestly have to say this is hands down the cleanest, friendliest and most stocked grocery i have been to in the area. I've always been intimidated by cooking something that comes close to authentic Indian food. My wife and I have tried over the years, it works out usually, but it's never the same. For this reason, I was pretty excited when I learned that Siri Indian Grocery had a carry-out option and being only 5-mins away. Having just devoured my purchase, I have zero complaints. $18 got me the following: - a package of 4 frozen garlic naan (throw them in the toaster) - 2 homemade samosas - a tub of tikka masala - a tub of spinach paneer *tubs are easily 2 servings each Fantastic! So I had to make some rice when I got home. Oh well. It worked out as I cooked my naan. Everything was delicious! And we have leftovers for at least another meal! The guy at the shop is incredibly polite. He let us try the curries we were interested in before we bought. I was going to buy it regardless, still, it was a awesome gesture. The owners appear to make these dishes every couple of days. So certain items they were out of, like biryani. No worries! He gave me a card and told me to call him when they have it in a day and he'll set some aside for me. How awesome?! Seriously has this customer service stuff down. I'll be back here. This is an amazing grocery store that has absolutely everything you might need to make any Indian food you can dream of. I showed up with a list of spices and legumes from three different recipes, and the owner walked me around the store and showed me where each and every item was. He also had cooking tips. I have made the first recipe (dum aloo) and it was absolutely outstanding. I served it with the wonderful frozen garlic naan that they also sell, and some handmade samosas which I also bought. They also cater! Their take out dinners looked delicious but I was going to be occupied making my own. I'll be back for those! You won't be sorry you came here! I live in St. Charles and used to go to Aapka Bazaar on Bowes Road in Elgin. The owners of Aaapka Bazaar sold and the new owners were terrible. I would walk into the store and the guy working was talking on the phone the whole time even while ringing up my order. I just found Siri Indian Grocery. What a difference. It was like having a personal shopper. He has a very large variety of items. I make my own dosa batter, but don't like to make sambar or coconut chutney. In addition to carrying frozen sambar and coconut chutney, he actually sells his own homemade sambar and chutney. Limited fresh produce, but all of the other staples are there. I was told that he will be bringing back different types of fresh made in the store street food and some other take out dishes soon. We will definitely be going back. I hope he does well. read more

We were hungry and looking for fast Indian food and found this nice place. Surprisingly they were making delicious uthappam , dosa and different kinds of chats. Our family had a very good time . kids loved the food very much.The store was well stocked, neatly maintained and clean. Excellent customer service.
