Even though it was a weekday and not particularly busy, multiple registers (including the Express 15 or less) were open, which was a good sign they are well staffed.

Although, sometimes if you don't buy them right away, you may regret it as you won't see them for another year. Choceur chocolates, and the cheesecake are incredible must have treats. The staff is always willing to accommodate and the checkout is super fast. And for some odd reason, even the customers seem friendlier. Honestly, I'd give it 4. But it's only because it does not have a deli and perhaps more seasonings and spices that I would not read it a 5.

It is a free standing building, located within the strip mall in downtown Bartlett. Because the building was newly built, they modeled it as the new generation of Aldi stores and it set-up exactly the same way as the store that recently opened near our home in Long Beach, CA. It's a very modern store, with a ton of self checkout lines. They still have the quarter-enabled shopping carts (you need a quarter to unlock a shopping cart, and you get it back when you return it), but now they accept credit cards. The prices are still really good, and it had probably the best selection of meat and produce I've seen at an Aldi. It had a good selection of gourmet cheeses, and even picked up a couple bottles of their house brand of wine (Winking Owl).
