For starters, it's bright inside, well organized and nicely recovered, even on a busy weekend day. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is here too compared to other outlet retailers. I usually come in looking for something specific but then end up with some pleasant surprises and great deals I wasn't expecting as well. The dressing rooms are nice and spacious too. When my items were returned to me, they had been thrown back into my bag in a tangled pile, resulting in wrinkled clothing and unnecessary wear. The attached photo speaks for itself. What was even more disappointing was the response I received when I called to discuss the issue. Rather than acknowledging the concern or offering a sincere apology, the manager responded sarcastically by asking what I expected them to do differently in the future. For a business that relies entirely on customers bringing in quality inventory, this level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is astonishing. Preparing clothing for resale takes time, effort, and money. I spent my own resources washing, drying, folding, and transporting these items, only to have them returned in worse condition than when they arrived. Now I get to spend part of my day re-washing, re-drying, and re-folding everything because basic care and courtesy were apparently too much to ask. I understand that not every item will be purchased. That's not the issue. The issue is how customers' property is treated and how concerns are handled when they are raised. The condition in which my belongings were returned, combined with the dismissive attitude from management, has ensured that I will never return to this location. If customer service, respect for personal property, and professionalism matter to you, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

When Heidner Properties acquired the Arboretum of South Barrington in 2022, we have witnessed an uptick in the abundance of new events, decor, beautiful new restaurants, retail shops & many more special events for day and evening entertainment. It's such a beautiful mall to walk around in & we cannot wait to see the ongoing innovations that continue to grow and become more successful each year. The clothing here is somewhat durable, and there are many classic pieces you can wear along with some latest trends. They have some top quality business casual clothing, perfect for relaxed and confortable work wear. Classics like a good relaxed pant, skirts, button down shirts, and tank and cardigan sweater sets in vivid colors. On my recent visit, I found some cute vacation/resort wear finds that are 100 percent cotton and easily packable. Cute accessories in jewelry, hats and scarves too. Pricing is a little higher than similar clothing found at nearby Sierra or Nordstrom Rack. Friendly sales employees who also wear their cute merch. And a plus for me, paper shopping bags with handles. I'll be back for wardrobe staples next season too.
