Incredible coffee I've only been getting the cookie butter frap for over a year but that's neither here nor there

There wasn't too many options for a local coffee shop according to Yelp in Slidell, but Sirincci did pop up. A quick peak at the reviews and it sounds like Michael makes a mean cup of joe! The outside is unsuspecting, but plenty of parking. On the inside, super huge and plenty of space for individuals, couples, and groups! There's even a little kid/game corner across from the bar. The vibes are clean and casual, with a hint of locals and cozy. A very nice to space to catch up or to get some work done (although I didn't notice too many outlets to charge). The menu was simple but they also had some seasonal specials. The coffee and espresso weren't dark roast, so it didn't carry that bitterness which I liked. Honestly, it sounds like you can't go wrong with any of the menu options that they offer. I also picked up a breakfast sandwich, which could of be heated a little better. The center of it was still a bit cold, but way better than frozen. It did look like they prepare their breakfast sandwiches in house and then freeze - so kudos to that! They also sell some trinkets and other goods that you can pick up as gifts! If I'm ever in town again, definitely a stop for me. Every city can use a great local coffee shop and Sirincci is it for Slidell! read more

Updating my review after visiting a few more times. I applaud their creativity, but some of these drinks that are featured on their special menu need to be tossed. The high amount of sugar makes the drink unbearable and I am often regretting even trying new drinks from their special menus. read more

I stopped in here briefly to catch up on some work and have a latte. I've always popped in here and there, and the staff has always been warm, welcoming and upbeat.. Even though it's been a minute, stopping in today after interacting with the Baristas reminded me why I need to pop in more often. The latte was delicious by the way. My partner and I went in to the shop to order the strawberry cheesecake cloud matcha after fellow coworkers raved about the drink. Once both of our orders were taken the baristas bantered back and forth about how inconvenient the drink is to make. The barista handed the cup with the order to the other barista and she rolled her eyes. They made comments as to how "unappetizing" the drink looks and that there's so much that goes into it. I got a 16 oz iced almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla syrup (only 2 pumps) with a cream cheese danish. Coffee was perfect and danish was amazing. Service was excellent. Went through the drive through while traveling in the area so didn't see inside the store except at the window. Looked well stocked and neatly organized syrups on shelves on the wall. Glad that there's an independent coffee shop in Slidell now! My friends and I would have absolutely loitered here to hang out and do homework back in high school. The coffee was pretty good. I got an iced latte with pistachio syrup. The first taste was really sweet for me, but then I got used to it. It's a big cup size too, so it's good value. The fact that they serve all their drinks in plastic to go cups was disappointing to me. I've gotten really crotchety about having a real glass or mug if I sit in at a coffee shop. The decor was a little silly personally, but the seating is really well chosen-- diverse, comfortable, high quality. The natural light from the windows is so beautiful as well. Bathrooms are nice. Location is nice. Parking is easy. There was a steady flow of customers when I visited on Tuesday morning at 10am but not too many people sitting, so I had my choice of seating. It never got loud or busy which was nice. It made for a really productive morning working on my laptop!! I'm really glad this shop is here. read more

A lovely little place. The staff were friendly. It was busy with a steady stream of customers, but it never felt crowded or got loud. There is plenty of space and comfy chairs to sit in and hang out, but also plenty of tables and counter space if you want to pull out the laptop and work. Free Wifi was very nice. They have a good selection of board games if you want to hang out. (And if you have someone to play with. Engage a stranger in a pickup game of Battleship!) I make pretty good coffee at home, so I tend to get hot tea when I go to coffee shops. Sirincci didn't disappoint. My tea was hot and strong and a good value for what I paid. I got one of the breakfast sandwiches (sausage/egg/cheese on a biscuit) and it was only OK. They don't really prepare the sandwiches here - they are premade and they just heat & serve. It was tasty but only OK. The tea was wonderful though. Looking forward to the next visit so I can try something else. read more

Update: I still have ups and downs at both locations, but the Robert location is now my fave. The people there are friendly and always have my drink ready. I also love the online ordering (I use it a lot) and they sometimes catch things that I forget to put (like whipped cream when I get drizzle on my drink). It is a great improvement from my last review and definitely deserved an update. read more

Trying out the new front street location - the location js nice and spacious, great for a hangout (tons of board games), meetings, or just working/reading on your own. I do think the music doesn't add to the atmosphere. I think a change to more "coffee shop" appropriate music would enhance the experience. Thus, I give the space itself a 4/5. The service is a 2/5. When we walked in there was nobody at the bar and it took a minute for a young guy to finally come out and meet us to order. His energy was meh, barely spoke, and seemed to just be there to do the bare minimum. However, I know that this may not be representative of the entire staff and maybe that was just our luck! UPDATE: I noticed that when the staff changed, they were much better - they wore matching aprons and always greeted customers as they entered unlike the earlier worker. The food and drink I would give a 3/5. I had the cappuccino which tasted fine but my boyfriend said his smoothie was too sweet. The sandwiches were good but nothing PJs or starbucks wouldn't have. I also think the prices were a bit too high. I love going to local coffeeshops every time i visit a new city, but I wouldn't say here is worth spending that much. I've had better experiences at similar or lower priced shops. Overall, it was an okay (2.5/5) one time experience, but I would not consider them an elite experience like their sign says. Note: I have gone to the Robert location before and I will say it was a much better experience. That's why I was looking forward to try the new spot but I would stick to going to Robert if you enjoy this coffee shop. read more

Drinks are crazy expensive (more so than Starbucks!), and flavor is very lackluster. The owner doesn't know coffee, he just knows recipes. After asking him about a low acid coffee his response was to order cold brew. Apparently they only use one variety of beans for all of their coffee brews. The kid that owns the place is also pretty petty. After taking a look around social media, he blasts anyone who leaves a bad review and publicly airs dirty laundry with other business owners.
