I have been a customer of satellite radio for over seven years and I'll never go back to regular radio. I don't like listening to commercials and I LOVE nonstop and commercial-free music regardless of the genre, news, sports etc.. I pay $36.00 every six months per vehicle (I own two trucks) which in my opinion is a GREAT price for something i use every single day in my vehicle, at home and at work. I listen on my phone, computer and truck. I definitely get my money's worth with satellite radio

They are the worst, couldn't find their place in the industry and would try to scam you! Don't fall in their representatives traps! They've offered me 3 months of service for 2.99$ and made me sure that they will contact me after that so if I'm satisfied they would start my plan No one called and they started charging me. This is not the way to put your name out there guys! I'm a dj and will talk about it with everyone...

In December 2022, I subscribed to a 4 month free promotion with SiriusXM. If you don't unsubscribe within those four months, you will automatically be billed on your credit card. Well, I didn't like the shows, so I started trying to unsubscribe back in January 2023. Everytime I would try to unsubscribe, I was told they didn't have my name, nor my credit card. They also gave me Google's phone number, and they told me the same thing! On my credit card statement for February 2023, there it was, the first payment after the promotion ended, a charge of $8.99! I called my credit card company concerning the matter. They stopped the $8.99 payment, and shutdown that credit card that I gave SiriusXM! The scam says: Tell the customer we cannot find their trial subscription if they try to unsubscribe before the free promotion ends. When it ends, start charging their credit card! Beware, folks!

This is the text from them, they don't scam there loyal customers, just the new ones I guess

It was a grueling open-ocean race dominated historically by only men. But in 1989, a young woman put together an all-female crew to challenge that. The Document invited hundreds of KCRW members to attend, so I RSVP'd. And I'm glad that I did. This film is inspirational. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/writers-guild-theater-beverly-hills-2?select=mGn0PJVXuasfx_E_5a1E9g I am not a woman and I don't sail, yet even I was inspired by this story. These women sailed the sea for about six months against tremendous odds (including the Southern Ocean off the coast of Antartica). Amazing! That inspires me to challenge myself much more in my life as a result. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/writers-guild-theater-beverly-hills-2?select=LMNKf0eXIqhQnlkXLtAKaw There were several food trucks and complimentary wine followed by a Q&A with the yacht captain Tracy Edwards and "Maiden" director Alex Holmes. Overall, a very nice event held at the Writer's Guild theatre. *** I don't subscribe to KCRW for its perks, but nice to partake. ;p ***

Plaudits and gratitude are owed to L.A. Oldies 1260 K-Surf (KSUR) owner Saul Levine. He restored…read morerock'n'roll oldies to the Los Angeles market's AM dial (streaming at laoldies.com) in 2017 after removing it in 2011 for a classical music format. Levine, 93 years old, runs his independent station with scarce-if-any commercial interruptions, and his largesse is what makes K-Surf an oasis of the airwaves. In what is predominantly an automated format, the station has live DJs in control from 6-10 a.m. and noon-6 p.m. weekdays, and several features during the week that depart the routine. DJs are unobtrusive, announcing titles/artists and tossing in sometimes-surprising factoids. For instance, did you know that the twangy stringed instrument in B.J. Thomas' hit, "Hooked on a Feeling," is a sitar? To how many listeners might that have occurred some 50 years ago when the tune was in heavy rotation? K-Surf twice a week presents Dick Clark's archived syndicated program, "Rock Roll & Remember," and can be counted-on every Saturday night for six hours of disco memories, actually absence-heart-fonder fun. On the downside, the hour-long weekday news show, "This Morning: America's First News," breaks into the music at 4 a.m. and, what the heck, it never hurts to hear some news before you prep to slay those dragons. However, when the program ends, the oldies resume, and only one-and-a-half tunes play before a nearly identical news encore intrudes. Only other nit to pick is intermittent glitches in the signal (or computer?); only an instant of dead air, but annoyingly frequent when present. Monaural 50s-60s-70s music on AM radio possesses a certain throwback appeal. It sometimes sounds tinny, fuzzy or staticky, just as it did when the songs were new, listened-to on rudimentary, AM-only car radios and hand-held, Japanese-manufactured "transistors." That's the way it was until the rise of the FM band--and people LIKED it! The music transmitted rose above the obstacles then, and still does now.

Who would ever go to yelp for a suggestion/criticism about a radio station?…read more In any case, I'm astounded by this station. I'm 30, I grew up on All Eyez on Me, 2001, and Space Boogie: Smoke Odyssey. I've graduated to wu, alchemist, Jedi, statik, etc- but ok I digress... I've heard "callin out names" by kurupt. They play "ether" by nas on the random. "Hit em up" IN HEAVY ROTATION. Lol. I used to spit that whole 2 minute rant at the end at the lunch tables in 8th grade- and yes- they often play it thru to the bitter "My 4-4 make sure all y'all kids don't grow!" Some quik/digs free track I've never heard just came on. Right now. This is madness. Thanks kday- I called in and chatted w a young lady around 9am this morn. Aside from the prospect of potentially buying her some coffee, I'd love to know if CiCi the mamasita ever shouted me out! I was workin away:) Just keep it up. 4/5 tracks are just bangers, and the 1/5 are reminiscent slow jams of my lonely college days lol. "I used to be commander in chief of my pimpsss, flyin hiii-iighhh." Classic. I could go on. But nuff said. I even listen to the commercials through and through sometimes just to A) avoid hearing trap queen on any other station B) simply open myself to the potential of patronizing said businesses. No, I'm not gonna get a car title loan anytime soon- I'm gonna hustle. Legal hustle, that is ;) ~fín~ ..back to my random track from the "bow down" album. Literally this is some grungy-ass "cross-em-out-and-put-a-'K'" type shit. [[((Best Buy Insurance Guy---Best Buy Insurance Guy))]].....
