So for what I was going to spend on a dozen cookies, I was able to get 3 times as much to send to me son for him & his co-workers. They delivered to his office & knowing I was in Ca she took a picture of my son receiving his baked goods & sent it to me! Plus a lot of the bakeries in the area close at 6. So I found Sweet Dreams on here and decided to give it a try. I called in an order around 5:45 and had fresh cupcakes and still warm from the oven cookies at my door by 8pm. Needless to say it made his day and I was more than impressed with everything. We ordered a sampler pack and had her pick out a variety for us. We ended up with some cinnamon things (yum!), apple supremes (husband's favorite so far), and several types of cupcakes as well as some warm chocolate chip cookies. My favorite is the chocolate cupcake. I've had cupcakes from some of the best bakeries and this one is right up there with them. It's moist, it's light, it's rich but not cloying, it's super chocolatey and it's just the right amount to satisfy that chocolate craving. I'll have to add more to my next order because my son claimed one and then wanted a bite of mine too! We still have a few more things to try but I expect they will all be just as good. She does take credit cards, you can pay ahead by phone or at the door, perfect since I rarely have cash on me anymore!

One of the owners was there, and he was super nice and friendly telling us about the business and different types of cakes and pies they have on different days of the week. They also sell jams, rice crispy treats of varying flavors and jellies. (I will be back for some of those this week- they will make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for the holidays) We both ordered a smoothie - strawberry / banana mine with almond milk and my son got his with oat milk. Mine was very tasty and filling substitute for a missed lunch, while my son also got a slice of the lemon cake with his. I am not a huge lemon cake fan, but once he started eating it and was telling me how awesome it was, I had to try it. And all I can say is WOW. IT MELTED IN MY MOUTH!!!
