This is my 2nd time here and I just had to come back again because the first time was so good! Shop is very nicely decorated and very Pink!! Staff is always friendly and helpful! I LOVE the chewy bites/blondies that they have i was absolutely hooked my first time trying so I had to get them again. If you like Chewies please try them so good....I got that and a red velvet cupcake which is also very good! If you are in the area looking for something sweet stop in and check them out! I reached out to them about getting a custom birthday cake done, submitted a form through their website exactly as it said to. 3 full days go by, I hear nothing. No confirmation I submitted a request, no reaching out to further discuss, no confirmation of an order placed. So I sent an email to the email that it said to under contact us, & after 2-3 more days, no respond. Extremely disappointed, as I was really excited to order a cake from this business, but sadly my experience was not a good one & I cannot recommend getting a cake from them. While in Edisto/Charleston, I was in need of something sweet, and found this super-cute Cake Bar in West Ashley... I immediately loved the place...as the place was strikingly decked out in PInk...unashamedly Hot Pink at that! I noticed some GORGEOUS cake creations, as well as some cute cupcakes. I chose to try 2 cupcakes...in Red Velvet and Strawberry. Well, I can honestly say that both were DEE-Lish!! Also tried this drink they carried called VOSS in Raspberry Rose Sparkling Water. Loved that as well. Truly the only downside was that they didn't have proper plates for folks choosing to dine in...though the place was quite spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs. I guess it's a post-Covid thing? I was hoping to get good pictures of the cupcakes on a plate (as the box presentation didn't do much), but Oh Well. Still, I can't dock any stars for this gorgeous place, and its lovely creations. Kudos to Alexis!! read more

If you love sweets head over to Cake Bar in the Northbridge Shopping center in West Ashley. They recently reopened and it's beautiful inside. They have fresh cakes, Charleston Chewies, cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, cookie sandwiches, strawberry crunch cupcakes, cake snacks, and cake pops. There's also a variety of drinks to appease your palate and pair with the sweets. The service was top notch. We had a young server who was so full of life and excited to assist us with anything we needed. The decor is photo worthy. There are so many places to snap a picture showing the vibrant design that just rejuvenated your spirit. They're open till 6pm during the week and they have plenty of seating so head over you won't be disappointed. read more

Had an amazing experience here having a custom cake made. Alexis was easy to communicate with and willing to take me on with short notice during the holidays. So I have been hearing great things about this business for a long time but never got the opportunity to get try. I saw this on DoorDash tonight and I hopped on it. All I can say is wow! The cupcakes are SO MOIST and flavorful. The CHEWIES......OMGGGG!!!. Im literally trying not to punish all in one sitting! I'll definitely have to reorder and try some else next time. Super cute and I mean CUTE little bakery. The inside is all pink and glittery and there's seating inside and outside. There aren't prices posted by the baked goods but I got a slice of the banana pudding cheesecake and it came out to 9.54. Flavors were good and it came nicely boxed. My little one and I are grateful for this neighborhood bakery! At least once a week, we ride his bike to see Ms Alexis (the owner) and pick out a sweet.The customer service is great! Super impressed with the Cake Bar by Alexis. I'm an out of towner who wanted a particular favorite cake delivered to a special nephew for his 25th birthday. I called a number of bakeries in Charleston - none of which could help - before I found the Cake Bar online. Alexis did not disappoint! She was so kind and helpful and very patient with me.
