I need my truck for work, and I blew a check engine light, and my truck was running really rough .. Steven squeezed me in even though they were busy and fixed it for me so I can get back to work! They had my truck in and out of there in less than a day and a half, diagnostic, repairs, parts in and a long test drive to make sure she was good to go! ( I commute well over 100 miles a day to and from work, ) A few days later, I smelled diesel from under my hood and just stopped by & JIM (owner/rock star guy) stopped what he was doing to wash my engine compartment off take a quick thorough look under the hood just to make sure I was safe! When other shops couldn't take me in for a week or two these guys stepped up and took care of me fast so I could get back to running my company ! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Hello Mobile Mechanic of Greenview CA: Loren Worked on my…read moretruck a 94 Chevy Suburban (okay wagon). People say he is great, and the work done was good I do not question that at all. His prices are reasonable as well. I just have a few questions that are of a concern too me: Has anyone had any instances where dents scratches to body had happened to their vehicles while at his garage/shop? My Chevy came back with some. On the interior it came back with dirt all over the dash seats and the four wheel drive was engaged in four High, as well as the knob was loosened almost off. I had what I thought was suspension issues so I took it back to Loren and we went out together and he said it was not too bad but needed alignment done. So I took it to Les Schwabb and they done the alignment but came back and told me the gear box is messed up. I then took it to GM Certified tech to recheck that and to have them go through the truck, wagon and got report back of a few things including: They said the Gear box was messed up, the axel boots had holes or ruptured and leaking, the U joints are broken and or separated, and also the Gear on the fly is sluggish and loose. One would know immediately about Suspension, Gear Box, and or U joints being damages by the feel the vibration, and or the rattling of the vehicle as well as the handling and response in steering. The main questions I suppose I am asking and hoping to get answers is, what could of happened there? Chris, the owner was so knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem with our car which was a spark plug that exploded. He had it fixed within a couple of hours and we were up and running again. They stopped at Pioneer Auto Body, the only place probably in that area. Even though my son is an adult, he still is a young adult, so I was worried for them. The owner of Pioneer Auto Body treated them above and beyond with honest, fair and extremely helpful service. Made me very relieved as a Dad and I wish all the best to the folks at Pioneer Auto Body. It was 7 am staurday and i thought i would be screwed and not able to make my new job starting in Portland on Monday morning. The tow truck guy was kinda odd but the people at A 1 were very helpful and actually seemed to care that I had to get my piece of crap car back on the road. The mgr and the service tech both were very friendly and even let me bring my labrador inside to watch tv while the repair was made. Price was reasonable but how fast and how good made me actually write this review. Hope they read this cause they really did right by me.

Our car broke down and AAA towed us to their garage. They told me that my car would be read in 3-4…read moredays. They encouraged me to rent a car from the Hertz dealer which was in the same office space (suspect!). Left with no option we signed their estimated work order and rented a car. Over the course of the next EIGHT DAYS we never got a call when they thought it would take longer than originally planned. They didn't even call us when our car was done being worked on! When I went to pay for it they over charged me by $148 which I didn't realize until I looked at the papers after I had already drove off. I went back and they KNEW they over charged me cause the receptionist (Jennifer) said with a smile, "Yeah that price didn't sound right. Oh yeah, our computer says you only approved $*****. I'll get you refunded." And she kept making excuses for why I couldn't see a supervisor. SOO many problems with this place and I don't trust anyone there. Avoid at all cost!
