been the biggest fan of this place since i was a kid!! i feel like ive gone every year and its…read morereally nice how many changes theyve made to grow the business. even on weekdays it gets pretty busy, so def recommend a reservation. the workers are always really nice and helpful, and i love that they offer snacks n canned drinks as well as allow outside food/drink. now are my cons but not rly cons? love this place so theyre not bad enough to stop me from coming or recommending, but theres def some things i and my friends noticed overall. id hope that the place gets a bigger variety of glaze colors maybe? i feel like its been the same for a bit. or even the glaze with different effects. additionally, if there can be a little key to the small glazes in piping bottles it would be superrr helpful to know what theyd look like. we found ourselves walking back and forth 10 times just to see what they were compared to the big bottles. also, if they can have a larger variety of plain items at a time i think it would be nice! when i originally came in there were very few options, but when i came in to pickup my pieces there were a LOT of plain, non charactered/textured cups, bowls, and plates. lastly, i would loveee to join in on their classes to make my own pieces, but its super unfortunate to me that it seems theres not that much opportunity for designing and painting it myself. even if it was an add on fee id definitely be down, but if im already paying about $50 for a piece it would be cool if i can have the option to make it exactly how i wanted.

He's very artistic, so this turned out to be a perfect fit and he genuinely had an amazing time. Choosing what to paint was honestly the hardest part because of the large selection available. There's something for every budget... our pieces were around $20-$25 each, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. In addition to the pottery cost, there is a $9 studio fee per person, which covers all materials, glazing, and firing. We ended up spending close to three hours painting, and the time passed quickly in a relaxed, creative, and very family-friendly environment. The staff during our visit were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer guidance, which made the experience comfortable even for beginners. The pickup process was slightly less seamless than the painting session itself. We were initially quoted about a two-week turnaround and needed to follow up when we hadn't received a notification yet. There appeared to be some minor miscommunication regarding readiness and text alerts, but everything was eventually sorted out. Overall, this is a wonderful local activity... especially for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a creative and screen-free experience. I'd absolutely recommend planning ahead for pickup communication, but the painting experience itself made for a memorable birthday celebration and we would happily return.

Lander learning center is highly recommended. Teacher Gina is an amazing teacher. This place is…read moreclose but Ms. Gina teaches her student one-on-one. My son has been coming here for over a year taking Karate with Sensei Rey. He loves it. My son…read moreprefers Sensei Rey (not that there's anything wrong with the other Senseis, you know how kids are when they are attached to a specific person) so he was bummed when his schedule changed and instead of having class twice a week he only has it once a week now. My son has competed in one tournament and is prepping to compete in another. Now, only if he can get a belt test done that would be awesome. Other than that Sensei Rey really takes the time to make sure his students (of all ages too) get their techniques correct & it shows in the tournaments. My son brought home a gold medal for Kata & a silver medal for Kumite. Oh! One more thing, the space can get tight when everyone is in class. Maybe expanding or separating the sitting area? There's a room with a glass windowed room right behind where the parents sit, maybe... it could just be a sitting room for the parents during this time frame? I'm really not sure what is in that room though. Also, that way the kids that run around during class can be contained in a separate room so as not to bother the karate class in session but can still see the karate class through the window? Just a suggestion. Gina the owner is very accommodating & was kind enough to understand our situation in December so we were able to alter our contract a bit before signing. We are excited to continue another year with Landero Learning Center.

The…read moreinstructor was knowledgeable, patient, and made the class enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level. I learned so much in just one class and left feeling inspired and excited to continue making pottery. The studio has a welcoming, creative atmosphere that makes you want to come back and keep learning. If you've ever wanted to try pottery, I highly recommend Oasis Pottery. Whether you're a beginner or looking to build your skills, it's a fantastic place to learn and create. I can't wait to go back and make more pottery!

Came here two times several months ago and didn't have the greatest experience. My friends and I…read morevisited during two separate weeks, but it just so happened that both times, the instructors we were supposed to have didn't show up, so we had the same substitute instructor twice. We took a beginner wheel class, but I didn't feel like I learned a lot because the substitute instructor had other priorities. The class started about 30 minutes late, but we didn't get to make up that lost time. And to top it off, the instructor was distracted and dropped the piece (that I wanted to keep) while wiring it off the wheel! I understand that it was a hectic day and the instructor was busy all by themself, so I scheduled another beginner class a week later. But, I had a similar experience, and I still didn't feel like the instructor had their full and undivided attention on us. I feel like I didn't get my money's worth both times. I'm sure the classes and instructors are great, but I don't see myself coming back here.

My house hadn't been painted since it was built nearly 16 years ago. The fascia boards (the boards…read morearound the perimeter of the roof line) were looking super rough and chipped. Using the Yelp project feature, I found Vegas Paints. They were considerably more affordable than their competitors who are "licensed painters" which I had never heard of. Vegas Paints is licensed and insured so I felt comfortable booking with them. Moisés was the quickest to respond and even was able to give us a quote without needing to come out to measure, using Google Earth to figure out how tall of a ladder his team would need. We had our fascia boards and shutters painted. The house looks so much better. The team at Vegas Paints arrived early and was so fast removing all of the old paint before they got painting. Due to sunset and needing a different color paint for the shutters, the team came back the next day to finish the shutters, but otherwise it would have been done same day. Our house looks fantastic now and I highly recommend Vegas Paints. Service date: May 2026

And we contacted several painting companies; and Vegas Paints left the best impression (some of the companies alleged being behind schedule & changed the appointment date, etc.). Moises also has a cool automated system that emails customers with reminders. Albeit we didn't end up using Vegas Paints, but my hubby and I were immensely impressed with the company's efficiency with price quotes.
