Cute play area and wall decor in the studio for kids.

This review is for the monthly princess painting events for ages 4-8. These events have so many fun activities for the kids and turned me into an instant fan of Bash & Design. Bash & Design isn't just for kids. They have classes and events for kids and adults. There are so many cool options. For kids they offer classes like painting, drawing, fashion design and sewing (!), and mixed media. They have so many classes even beyond the obvious painting. They also offer drop off camps during summer, winter, and CCSD closure days. Not just fun, but helpful for working parents. If I lived closer I'd have my daughter in weekly classes here. The owner is very sweet and patient with the kids. My daughter likes the owner and the instructor who helps with the events. I have a lot of respect for what the owner has created with her business and highly recommend this spot to friends. The monthly princess events are SO fun for the kids. Once a semester they mix in a superhero event too. The online booking makes it easy to schedule. Each event includes starts with a painting (instructor led and assisted), face painting, balloons for playing, play time in the play area, and a snack. Sometimes some movie time if the painting goes fast. Then a princess guest arrives to lead dancing, singing, story time, take individual photos with the kids, and to give a gift (usually a craft for later). The kids get plenty of interactions with the princess. I think it's an excellent value at $65 compared to other princess events we've done in town. I'd definitely recommend Bash & Design for kids or adults interested in art classes.

I tried out one of these classes with a group of co workers, and I have to say it was nice to unplug and have a little fun. Painting took me back to childhood and the wine made it a lot more..playful haha Me and my girlfriend had a great time, very entertaining! Thank you guys!

This was truly an amazing experience! I was surprised upon walking in that this is also an art gallery with so much beautiful and unique artwork on display and for purchase. Our art teacher was incredible and the theme for the night was "Abstract". She explained thoroughly what Abstract art was as she walked around helping each student supplying paint and brushes. Food, wine & beer were also offered on their menu! I got a charcuterie board and an amazing Grapefruit beer to pair it with which was all delicious. I really can't wait to go back and make this a regular night out with friends. If you haven't been here I suggest doing an art class here or simply stopping in to admire their art gallery. You won't be disappointed!

I took my daughters here today and they had an awesome time. They made these adorable clay eggs. These will be a very cute addition to my kitchen decor. Ekat Shestakova was so inviting when we entered the amazing establishment.they have awesome classes for all ages!! My kids are 10 and 8 and had a blast !! My husband and I will be attending their couples painting class and my kids are joining the after school program.. I highly recommend everyone to experience bash and Design Gallery..

I had a party for my daughters here. They were so fun and patient with the group of elementary kids. They were accommodating with my paint design concept. I got to enjoy a glass of wine while they kept the kids busy for hours. Would definitely do a fun date night here or host another party!!

My son after his first mixed media class.

Even as a toddler, my son disliked coloring. He's never wanted to do art with me, and Art as an elective at school was his least favorite class. That being said, Bash and Design and Ms Andrea have lit a fire in him I didn't think would ever be lit. He now spends HOURS coloring and sketching. He's more creative in all his endeavors (including writing, which he always struggled with). He enjoys art class so much, he actually asked me to write this review to earn him some more Bash Cash lol. Thanks Bash and Design for helping my son become more artistic and a more creative person overall :)

been the biggest fan of this place since i was a kid!! i feel like ive gone every year and its…read morereally nice how many changes theyve made to grow the business. even on weekdays it gets pretty busy, so def recommend a reservation. the workers are always really nice and helpful, and i love that they offer snacks n canned drinks as well as allow outside food/drink. now are my cons but not rly cons? love this place so theyre not bad enough to stop me from coming or recommending, but theres def some things i and my friends noticed overall. id hope that the place gets a bigger variety of glaze colors maybe? i feel like its been the same for a bit. or even the glaze with different effects. additionally, if there can be a little key to the small glazes in piping bottles it would be superrr helpful to know what theyd look like. we found ourselves walking back and forth 10 times just to see what they were compared to the big bottles. also, if they can have a larger variety of plain items at a time i think it would be nice! when i originally came in there were very few options, but when i came in to pickup my pieces there were a LOT of plain, non charactered/textured cups, bowls, and plates. lastly, i would loveee to join in on their classes to make my own pieces, but its super unfortunate to me that it seems theres not that much opportunity for designing and painting it myself. even if it was an add on fee id definitely be down, but if im already paying about $50 for a piece it would be cool if i can have the option to make it exactly how i wanted.

He's very artistic, so this turned out to be a perfect fit and he genuinely had an amazing time. Choosing what to paint was honestly the hardest part because of the large selection available. There's something for every budget... our pieces were around $20-$25 each, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. In addition to the pottery cost, there is a $9 studio fee per person, which covers all materials, glazing, and firing. We ended up spending close to three hours painting, and the time passed quickly in a relaxed, creative, and very family-friendly environment. The staff during our visit were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer guidance, which made the experience comfortable even for beginners. The pickup process was slightly less seamless than the painting session itself. We were initially quoted about a two-week turnaround and needed to follow up when we hadn't received a notification yet. There appeared to be some minor miscommunication regarding readiness and text alerts, but everything was eventually sorted out. Overall, this is a wonderful local activity... especially for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a creative and screen-free experience. I'd absolutely recommend planning ahead for pickup communication, but the painting experience itself made for a memorable birthday celebration and we would happily return.

What. A. Fun. Place. I was wandering the 90210 Rodeo Drive…read moredistrict when I spotted this photo/memorabilia gallery. The first cool photo that caught my eye upon entering was a large (maybe 30x 40) b/w of the Hollywood Sign during the recent fire in that area. Billows of ominous gray smoke loomed over the hill behind the sign......what a great shot. I guess the photographer climbed up the hill and/or used a telephoto. Price: 2500 or perhaps 2800, nicely framed. This is not a snooty place - I got a friendly tour from the nice young man minding the store (I am terrible about remembering names...). Anyway, no reason to feel intimidated in this gallery.....just ask all the questions you wish. There were great photos of musicians, 1960's era.......the Stones, Beatles, Hendrix, Clapton, and many more. Everything was well-presented. I stopped in my tracks and fumbled for my glasses when I encountered a photo of Dylan, under a double-opening mat, coupled with an original playlist.......scribbled in his own handwriting. Holy crap! How soon is my next my birthday and how much is someone willing to spend on me because this piece costs $6,500!! Jeeeeeez.......the song titles were abbreviated. Like.... "tangled up", he wrote. It was all in black ink on a sheet of yellow lined legal paper. I idolize that man. Which is maybe why I would rather have his guitar.....which was hanging on the wall. A yellow Fender, played by Bob on stage. By this time I was drooling. The price? 40 grand. Holy shit. I was overwhelmed, too much so to even start looking at all the Beatles stuff. I left with my head spinning, my lost youth flashing before me eyes. I need a ton of money!!!!!!!! Then Ima goin' back. Dammit.
