Cute, instagrammable little spot with a pretty decent brunch to boot. I wanted to meet a friend here at 11 this past Saturday, but they don't take reservations. I called them earlier in the morning to ask what time I should arrive in order to be seated by 11, and they couldn't really give me an answer so I arrived at 10:45 and was seated right away as there were a few two-person tables available (the counter/bar seating was also free). We each got a Thai tea latte which was good and not too sweet (only available cold). My friend got the avocado toast - she really liked the honey truffle chili drizzle and found that the dish was filling without making her feel stuffed. My mushroom truffle benedict was tasty as well - eggs were cooked perfectly, and the truffle flavor was nice and not overpowering. I enjoyed the home fries as well - they were seasoned well and not greasy. Service was efficient and friendly. The menu is quite short, which if you're like me, can be helpful if you struggle to make decisions. Everything is quite reasonably priced, and don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free coffee/tea! Nothing super special but definitely a solid place for brunch (especially if you're someone who appreciates nice aesthetics)! read more

Arrived around 1:45pm on a Sunday and my party of two were third on the list. Luckily for me, a table of 6 left and they were able to seat us soon after. It's a pretty cute place and I love the deep green colour of one of the walls. They had cute pink chairs but apparently those were not comfortable and give no back support. I sat on the bench and I thought that was fine. We asked the server for recommendations and he his suggestions were the Bulgogi Beef Benedict, Spicy Tomato Oxtail Stew and the Chicken Katsu Club Sandwich and let us know he loves meat. Mango Coconut Delight ($10) - It's not bad. I can definitely taste the coconut and mango but it wasn't anything amazing. I think I'd be happier with a juice or a tea latte. More economical, too. Mushroom Truffle Benedict ($13.50) - The mushrooms were kind of dry and flavourless and I could not smell or taste the truffle oil. There was very little hollandaise sauce so I asked for extra (not sure if I was charged but extra sauce is $1.00). The salad was fine but I thought the sauce was too garlicy or oniony (?). I personally don't like it when dishes are too strong in either of those but I know my mom and sister would love it (they're stinkers). The home fries were extremely spicy which was unexpected because I don't recall seeing anything in the description that would hint at the home fries being spicy. I would not get this again because I prefer food with flavour. Chicken Katsu Club Sandwich ($15.50) - It doesn't look amazing in the pictures or in real life. Looks kind of dry actually but the oxtail stew looked real good in the pictures and I wanted to dunk the sandwich in. The sandwich ended up surprising me and was way better than I thought it could be. The chicken was very juicy and the breading stayed on. You could hear the crunch in the lettuce and taste the juices from the tomato. It wasn't necessary to dunk it in the stew but I did it anyways. I didn't try any of the fries so no comment on that. Same salad as the one with benedict. Spicy Tomato Oxtail Stew (16.50) - I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle this because I cannot take spice but I didn't find this spicy at all. It could be because I ate my VERY spicy home fries before getting into the stew so if it is spicy, it doesn't compare to the home fries. I was expecting a more developed flavour but it was really just tomato which I did not mind. It was still very good. The oxtail were fall off the bone and there were about 5-6 pieces. If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the chicken katsu club but because I love saucy goodness, I feel like the spicy tomato oxtail stew makes me love it even more. I found the prices to be super reasonable especially since some other places are serving avocado toast for 17 dollars. I think the most expensive item was the oxtail stew. Servers are all very nice. They also have a kids' menu. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could. read more

Really nice brunch place that I went to with some friends. It was busy when we came by but they had space on the counter so we sat there to eat. My friends got the more interesting dishes and I decided on getting the Sister's Traditional Breakfast with Sausage and scrambled eggs. You can't go wrong with this combination and their home fries were really good too, they had a nice kick to them. I got to try my friends' dishes too which were the Mushroom Truffle Benedict and the Bulgogi Beef Benedict (which were absolutely delicious). If I do end up going again I will definitely try the Spicy Tomato Oxtail Stew. Overall my experience here was pretty good, staff was fast and efficient and the food was extremely delicious! Happened upon this place with some friends after our original brunch spot was experiencing kitchen issues, and we're so glad for this serendipitous experience! Coming from NYC, we love a good brunch, and this place didn't disappoint. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very SoHo/Williamsburg and perfect for pictures. Though smaller in space, because the place is new, we had virtually no wait with 4 people. The food was amazing! The coffee/lattes come in pink mugs - the matcha latte was definitely great. Would've loved to try the Thai tea latte, but they were sold out. I ordered the bulgogi beef Benedict which was tasty, and the home fries were equally great. Even the side salad, which normally is forgotten at brunch, was great with an amazing dressing. My friends ordered the chicken katsu club sandwich (a favorite as mentioned by the waitress) and the earl grey pancakes, both of which they enjoyed. I would definitely come back to order the chicken katsu club sandwich, and a friend almost asked for the earl grey mousse on the side on our way out! The new brunch spot isn't bad but it is not a whole lot of wow factor. The little brunch hot spot has the modern day millennial basic décor with a short and simple menu. The food reads deliciously on paper but IRL (in real life), it missed to hit the mark. I was expecting better and bolder taste but it was just very generic. The environment brings a comforting vibe but it was very aching to my back and behind. It was very uncomfortable to relax and enjoy the foods presented in front of us. The friendly service is there but with all the quirks of the restaurant, it was not enough to hide all the flaws. As the place is small, it is very loud, difficult to hear one person talk. My girlfriend wanted to check this place out, we parked at the pay parking lot across the street and walked over. When we arrived, we had three parties in front of us. The girlfriend asked how long the wait time would be, we were informed it would be 45 minutes give or take. They took down her number and we walked around for a bit. When we were finally seated. It was not very comfortable. It is small and cluttered to maximize space and productivity. The girlfriend made a comment on how she doesn't know why one would open a restaurant in Toronto when property rent and tax are so high with minimal space. The restaurant is not an ideal spot for large groups . Groups of 2-4 are more ideal for the size of the shop. The place is also awfully loud. I couldn't hear my girlfriend as she was talking into my ears. Get there early because certain items on the menu will sell out quick. The brunch dishes are just like any other, it doesn't really stand out. With that being said, the restaurant is still fairly new with lots of room for improvement. read more

A great brunch place that is very instagrammable and cozy. It is a smaller place so be prepared to wait a little as it seems to always be busy. Lovely owners who also work at the place, super friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely amazing, I had my first ever eggs benny here and I used to avoid it due to the sauce, but they have managed to change my mind! This was our second time eating here. We had brunch here a year ago when visiting our daughter and again when visiting them this year. They did not disappoint either time. The food is delicious and on point. You're lucky to get a seat here. It's on the small side if you want to eat there. But, worth the wait if it's not too long of a wait. They have patio seats, but there's no shade and on a hot day you definitely don't want to be out there. read more

I was in town from Los Angeles for work and found Sisters & Co for a late brunch. First of all, the space is super cute, stylish and gets fantastic light! The three girls who own Sisters aren't actually sisters but good friends and you can tell they love what they do! Loved the eggs Benedict that I had - I usually like my English muffin toasted more but beyond that, the spice they use for the potatoes and the dressing they make for the salad just blew me away! Underwhelmed. It wasn't bad but I expected more. I had the mushroom benedict and found it kind of small and low on sauce. Maybe it was also the presentation. It just seemed kind of skimpy. The flavour was fine but I had a better similar dish at the Green Eggplant two weeks ago so this felt unexciting. The salad was skimpy and was hardly dressed. At first I thought the little potatoes were frozen; they weren't but the finely chopped thing made them hard to eat but I guess they were fine. My friend has the Earl Grey pancakes which sounded exciting but they also seemed underwhelming. Neither of us commented on the food which was a bad with. When something is really good, usually you say something about it. I don't wish them why I'll but I really wouldn't go back. read more

The food was amazing for both of us, I had eggs benny with porcini mushrooms & truffle oil, my son had avocado toast topped with slightly sautéed cherry tomatoes. The Benny the eggs were soft & runny, perfect! Both came with salad & chopped up hash brown potatoes with spiced up herbs. Coffee was great as well as service.
