Wonderful little place in town! Never have I had anything disappointing to eat here. They have a regular menu of sandwiches and such and offer daily or weekly specials on a board behind the register where they offer fresh baked muffins, cake, and pastries that vary depending on the week. oh my goodness the Highland grog was amazing :) I am pretty sure I could be drinking it ALL day. I was kind of bummed because I ended with one of the other coffees that I didnt favor as much but I highly recommend their brewed coffee. Once upon a time when I was in high school and college they where located on Mercer St. I visited a lot. This was my alternative to gas station coffee on the way to classes. They kept me alive during those years. On a trip home I dropped into their "new" location, they've been located here for quite a while but it was new to me. The staff gets to know everyone by name and are most friendly. The food is outstanding. I don't know what's on the menu because I always pick a special if the day and there are many. We had lunch here yesterday on our drive down to Charlotte NC. The restaurant is really cute and quaint, located in the first floor of a house. The food and drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced, the workers were friendly and helpful, and the owner checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Sisters clearly appears to be an integral part of this community and if you're driving through we encourage you to make the 5 minute drive past all of the tired fast food chains to support a local business. read more
