I complained that she needed to explain what was being done to my face and she was very defensive rather than apologetic. I think that's what sent me over the edge when she essentially gaslighted me like I should've known what was happening. I asked why she told me $10 would cover it, and she just repeated that it was $13. I probably should've just kept walking, but I tried to be nice and respectful, so I kept talking to her. I told her I only had an extra dollar and gave it to her. Then she asked if I could pay her another way, like come back and pay the rest. I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I'm young.
