The service is awful. The staff is rude. Went in with my baby girl for a haircut. Was told the store is closing and she wouldn't be taken. Come to find out few mins later we're serving 2 other ladies. Liars. If you don't want business from certain customers then say it up front. I wish I can give them a zero or negative stars! I came here on Thursday October 12th for their waxing services. I wanted to originally thread my face because my skin is very sensitive. The woman told me to do waxing cause its for sensitive skin and everyone of her clients do it there. I told her multiple times My skin is sensitive and that I never did waxing before. She continues to push me to do it until I give in. When she waxed my right side it was so painful and I know it'll be painful cause after all its waxing. So she laughs and say see that wasn't bad And she did it quickly. after she was done my face was so red with bumps. On top of that she puts oil on my face. Every beautician knows not to put oil on your face after waxing due to the fact it will block your pores and you will get pimples! Every time I go somewhere to do my eyebrows and upper lip they know to put some type of aloe/sanitizer to disinfect your skin. Anyways she was nice enough to give me ice to take the swelling down but it didn't help so much. I took a cold shower and took 2 Benadryls to knock me out when I got home due to my skin reaction I was in so much pain. Next morning I woke up I cried like a baby because I looked hideous. I took this to heart and so much anger in me cause I took a while to get my skin clean up and acne free. I take really good care of my skin so I dont have to apply makeup which I hate. That next morning to work I had to pack on so much concealer that the burn marks could not ever cover. I went to work and they honestly thought that someone punch me in the face or I got into a fight thats how embarrassing it was. Especially to my husband who is a NYPD police officer, ppl thought I was getting my ass whopped at home! It was so embarrassing! Anyways I went to get my money back and the owner was not helpful at all, I saw the woman who did this to me and all she had to say was Oh you have sensitive skin, it happens. Like if Im suppose to suck it up. Not even an apology! I got my money back for my face and the full deposit for my hair I was going to get done by them. I will not ever go back or advise any of my friends or family to go there. I'm posting this review with pics to prove what they did and not even apologize about it! I was told to press charges but I didn't have the heart to do that, because maybe that business was a income for their family or to make a living out of. but theres a god and karma will handle them! read more

The best place to get your eyebrows threaded in the city. I'm super careful about who does my eyebrows and have went near and far to find the right person and Tania is amazing. You don't feel a thing and she is super quick. Don't go anywhere else, I would travel a good distance just to get them done from Tania that's how good she is. read more

I went in for a trim and I already had layers and a U cut and I don't know what happened but it went totally wrong. She didn't even cut the ends straight and it's like someone cut two weird ends off the my ends. And she ruined my fringe so the framing pieces don't blend it. I hate it and now I have to spend more money fixing it. read more

Stay away from this place. The employee did not wash nor sanitized her hands after sweeping the floor. When asked, she started arguing with me that she did. When I told her that I saw her not washing her hands. She got loud and provoking. The woman did not have any manners. I walked out rather than argue with her. This is by far the best threading salon I've come across. No waiting, professional staff, and cleanliness are some of the attributes Tania salon excel in. My smile use to be my best asset but that has been replaced with my nicely arch brows (no makeup needed) I constantly get compliments on my skin and I can't thank Tania and Mito enough for the treatments and time she has invested in me. I would give this place zero stars if i could. I went here a total of four time since its opened. The first time, I went here to get my brows done and this one lady did my brows and it was nice. The second time I went, I was told that that lady moved back to her country and so I took my chances with another new brow lady. I had been growing out my brows for 4 months and believe me when i tell you, this lady did the worst eyebrows I've ever seen in my life. My brow was not a line. There was stray hairs plucked out from random places and it was SO painful. She made one of my brows start waay higher than the other and made it look absolutely horrific. I was speechless and shocked. She didnt even admit there was anything wrong with it. The owner came and tried to fix the problem. It was better but still painful and very thin. She still charged me for the worst eyebrows I have ever seen on a person's face. I went back one more time for an eyebrow threading and had the owner do my brows. SHE DOES IT SO PAINFULLY ITS UNREAL. I've been getting eyebrows threaded for 15 years now and she is the most aggressive. It cuts into my skin and is borderline unbearable. She claims its because I wait too long between visits/ The only reason I keep going is because my old eyebrow lady relocated and its very far from me now and I don't have time to do my own brows. Up till this point, she had been charging me $4 for eyebrows and I always leave a tip. So the reason why I will stop going here is because of my most recent visit. She advertises $15 haircuts and I had been growing my hair out for many years now. It was past the middle of my back and had grown the longest its ever been. I went in and asked her to refresh and trim my existing layers just to get rid of my damaged ends. She took out her scissors and in 15 minutes, she had chopped my hair so short it is above my chest now. She cut the layer so unevenly, the left doesnt even match the right. It looks visibly choppy and unblended and it was so devastating to see because it was so bad and my hair takes a very long time to grow because of an illness I have. This haircut was worse than any haircut I've ever done on myself, including the very first bangs I cut on myself when I was 11. The hair bunched up on the floor looked like it could be a medium sized pet dog. I wanted to yell out or cry but I am a super shy person so I didnt say anything. If you do not know how to do a simple trim or even layers, you should not call yourself a hairdresser, simply as that. She had also done another painful eyebrow threading. When I went to pay, she said the haircut is $25 because my hair was long (nowhere on her many pricing charts does it mention that) and she charged me $5 instead of the usual $4 because apparently I had gotten it shaped instead of cleaned (but I always get this exact service and am charged $4). I ended up paying $30 instead of the $19 I should've been paying and I had to go home and reshape my hair myself. I know most of the females in my age demographic in our area and I am warning them all not to come to her for haircuts. You have a pretty salon but your service is less than mediocre. Went here twice! The first time I had a wash and blow. I felt the pain of what I thought was a minor burn from how hot the blower was and how close she puts it to your scalp. The blowout was adequate. I was charged $30. I was in the area and decided to give it one more chance with another hairdresser. I believe the first time was with the owner or manager who did my hair. The second time I asked for the SAME service but different hair dresser. My hair was not wash well and the conditioner didn't nourish the hair but left it stiff and somewhat brittle! Now comes the blow out and all I can say it was worst then the first time! I am use to getting my hair blown out. I also get different treatments in my hair so by no means am I intolerant to some pain or irritation. This, however, was PAINFUL! The blower was so hot I had to ask her to stop a few times. My ear was bright red from how close she got the blower to my scalp. I started to smell the odor of burnt hair and told her to stop. By this point, she asked if I wanted to get it flat ironed. My hair is thin and bone straight. There is no need for a flat iron. I was afraid of what would happen to my hair if I let her use any other tools. Now the kicker- I got the same service from the first time -only 3 weeks apart and was charged $40. So, in 3 weeks there was a $10 increase! I didn't even bother to complain or ask why? I knew even before she charged me I wouldn't be back. I take care of my hair and use hair healthy products so when I encounter a salon that has such a disregard for the health of your hair makes me disgusted! I will not be back! read more
