The people are really nice and chatty so it pains me to give them a poor review. The day I went (a weekend), they were very busy and the gentleman did not know how to remove my shellac pedicure. He received info but still caused my skin a little damage. Meanwhile, I asked for polish to be removed from my fingernails and it was done so quickly that polish remains on the nails afterwards. I believe they should have turns me away as they didn't have the staff to adequately service my needs. read more

This place is extremely confusing on price, I would definitely ask how much cash you need before they even start. I have been there 2 times and both times price was different. I couldn't believe I was charged $45 just for a fill. As I am in a salon and would like to relax, that is the last thing I was able to do as the 3 of them where speaking their language to each other the whole time!! Just passing through Sisters for one night but I really needed a pedicure. Wasn't sure what to expect as everyone has different ideas of what is good ... I was thrilled by this find! I called in the morning and was able to get an afternoon appointment; they were exceptionally busy when I got there (5 pedicure chairs and 3 manicure stations full), but I only had to wait a few minutes before they were ready for me. Don't go here. I don't think they really know what they are doing, and those that give rave reviews must have low expectations. I'm all for people having bad days, but this is the second time we visited, STILL messed up. Crooked nail trims, bumpy polish application, they don't address the heals or any calluses, the don't trim rounded as I asked but rather straight and crooked at that, the younger gal obviously didn't want to be there, what's the point of using scented salts if you slap it in and wash it off right away. The fact they have to show you a timer for a foot rub in combination with the other issues, make me wonder if this was a past problem. Cash only? Oh, a convenient cash machine next to the register. Ya, no more, not a third time. Drive the extra 20 minutes and go to Bend. read more

My experience having a mani/pedi at this business was very disappointing. I scheduled an appointment the day prior. I arrived st the time of my appointment to find all staff occupied with other clients who I was told just arrived without an appointment. I was initially serviced by one individual. Then another person came. And then another. It was very confusing. I guess that is how they juggle clients when they have overbooked. They all seem to use the same tools on multiple clients which seems very unsanitary. That alone concerns me the most! I won't be going back. read more

Although very friendly when assisting you, overall the customer service was poor. A friend and I arrived (her for a mani, me for a mani/pedi). I was told to sit at the pedicure chair which was already prepared. Unfortunately, they left immediately and when I put my feet in, the water was cool. The gentleman left me and went to my friend and began working on her nails. I sat for over 15mins with my feet in lukewarm water. I really do love this nail salon, they do amazing manicures! (Haven't had a pedicure yet). The staff is friendly and we always have a laugh but this last time I went in we ran into some complications and that's why I had to knock a star off. The first acrylic set I got was perfect. In fact, it hadn't chipped once in the 3 1/2 week's I had it on. The only reason I took it off was because my nails grow fast and there was a large gap between the polish and my cuticles. I was home in Hawaii for a wedding so I redid them there. (Same thing, acrylics). HOWEVER, this is where sisters nail salon comes in. I go in for a new mani about two weeks later because I'm about to have a photo shoot. Here's what went wrong: A. The acrylic polish the other salon had used was so stuck on my nails that the woman trying to take the polish off with the buffer machine (I'm not sure what it's called) couldn't do it. She had a man come in who soaked my nails in polish remover which not only extremely dried out my nails but my fingertips and skin as well. B. When he started sanding down the nail with the small block they have you purchase he took some of my skin off as well. Yikes. It was just a small amount, mind you, but it burned when I had to stick my fingers back in the polish remover. C. (Lastly), they went in again after scraping the polish off my nails with the buffer machine and cracked one of my nails right down the center. It was partially my fault for not warning them I have a very sensitive nail that was damaged in a child hood accident - but I have NEVER seen it crack like that before... Aside from all this, my manicure did come out beautifully and they were able to seal my nail that split down the middle. Only downside is that the seal is clear and I got a French manicure so you can still see the split. I will include it in my photos down below. Would I still recommend this nail salon? Yes. Make sure you save that small zip lock bag with the block and nail file though because it costs an extra $5 if you don't already have one when you go back. read more

This was absolutley the BEST nail salon experience I have ever had. Sisters Nails & Spa has got it dialed in. Decor is cute, makes you feel like you're at a 5 star spa and customer service is TOP NOTCH. For the past year I was commuting to Bend to get my nails done (acrylic w/gel), my nails would always either tare off or my gel polish would chip within a week of my manicure. I was nervous to switch up my salon but I thought, what the heck? Let's give it a go. And I'm so happy I did. Kevin is by far the best manicurist I've ever had, he is so diligent and knows exactly what he's doing. I'm very particular when it comes to my nails. I've gotten them done enough times to know when they're just trying to finish the job, or if they actually care about how your nails look when they're done, and Sisters Nail and Spa cares. I'm overall so impressed and will be going back to get my nails done. read more

Went here last minute, did a walk in and I had 3-4 people ask me if I had an appointment. Again, no. So they reluctantly sat my daughter and i down. She had a pedi and it was fine. The mani was painful. She started out with the sanding tool which I asked her not to use and it became a argument between me and the nail tech. Then she used the file and dug so hard she cut my pinky finger till it bled. When I asked he to be more gentle she told me I'm too sensitive. OMG. Now I'm arguing with the manicurist whom I'm paying to be less rough. Pretty sure i won't go back. Plus of course the constant speaking in Vietnamese which I oppose to. This salon is wonderful! The mani's are so relaxing. My feet feel and look great. Had a mani, too, today as kind of a splurge. My nails are so pretty! Cuticles look awesome, which may not seem like a big deal but it is! It is rare that someone can work on my hands and nails without hurting them. My manicurist was gentle and precise. Kind owners & employees but I had a poor experience. My nail was cut & large toe badly. It kept bleeding during the appointment and I did not receive a discount. It continued to bleed into the evening & I am worried it's going to get infected Today I had to bandage it with cushion because it hurts in my shoes. My other nails were also cut too short. I would give this place a zero stars if I could. I've been a loyal customer for months and Kevin (the owner) was regularly doing my nails. I have always made appointments weeks in advance and always show up on time. I made my mom and I pedicure appointments and a manicure fill for me, on my birthday-which they knew. We showed up and no other customers were there. Kevin stood to the side for an hour and a half while I got a pedicure. The women took so long, mostly because she was checking her phone most of the time. So finally after an hour into my pedicure (which was still half way done) I said kindly "I have to leave by 4:45 are we going to have time for my nails too?" And they said yes no problem. Meanwhile Kevin, is still standing there not even attempting to come over and get my nails started (which I've seen done plenty of times). And he takes a new customer that walks in instead. I asked again at 4:15 are we going to have time for both? And he said yes very rudely and irritated. At 4:30 my pedicure still wasn't done and I explained I was so upset I had been there for an hour and a half and now was going to need to cancel my manicure appointment on my birthday. And he looked at me and said "you don't tell me how much time, I tell you". Unless you have 3 hours to get your nails done then don't go there. Then he proceeded to argue with me and chased me out of the salon shouting "we would've been done by 5:00" which at the time it was 4:45 and he still had a client... people have lives and things that they have to go do and I did my part on scheduling my appointment and he didn't do his and make sure to get me in an out of there. Instead told me I basically needed half the day to get this all done. I've never been treated so poorly by someone on customer service. especially when I'm a loyal customer. Very disappointed and I'd rather drive to Bend to get my nails done then be treated like that again. read more

Went in for dip with a burnt orange color-asked to keep my nails long. Walked out with hot pink short nails and dry skin. They were very pushy and charged me full price when you could see the white of my nail underneath dip powder. Do not come here for dip. It's the next day and already chipped. read more

If you live in Sisters, you know what a pain it is to get a manicure or pedicure in town. The few that do nails aren't impressive or do not have adequate availability because they are not a full service shop. Shibui Spa does not offer shellac manicure or pedicures so it was a great thing this place appeared. It is located in the BiMart shopping center, and is very clean, very nice inside with luxurious massage chairs. Endless colors to choose from and many choices on the beauty menu, much that include an optional glass of wine, or water. I noticed all the technicians seem to smile and laugh around one another suggesting they are at ease in the work place, always a good sign. Anna does my pedicures, and she is meticulous and very kind. My shellac pedis last a very long time and have never chipped. Check them out. Note that they accept cash only, and they have an ATM inside the shop for convenience. read more

Horrible mani-pedi. The worst I've ever had and I am not exaggerating. Despite paying for "deluxe", No filing of nails, only minimal cuticle work on my hands (no file or cuticle work on feet - just wash and polish). Lots of skin showing around fingers. Nail cutting uneven. I am 60 years old and it looks like I am a young teenager who has been biting my nails and doesn't know how to paint in the lines. The older woman who did my nails didn't even say thank you. Took my "cash", turned around abruptly and moved on to the next. She had no interest to ask if I was happy. I was shocked. No stars would be appropriate.....I gave one star because they got me in with only one day's notice. I called and spoke to a man who said he was the manager, told me the owner couldn't call back until Tuesday? He asked what he could do, customer always right. He asked me to come back so he could fix it, but I had a wedding to attend and had to take another half hour on my own to try to clean it up before getting dressed. I didn't have time to come back and they are cash only business. I asked him what he would do as a manager for having someone attempt to do the work who wasn't actually trained. I suspect the older woman had trouble seeing her work and didn't know to file or trim cuticles - or she simply didn't care. The manager must have known she couldn't do the job and fit me in anyway to get more cash. They knew I was here for a wedding and not a local. I asked him what he would do normally after selling me a service I wasn't actually given. He argued with me and told me I was interrupting him. He finally offered to only charge $30, instead of the $66. He asked me if that was fair. This really upset me further. He knew the older woman couldn't do the work and yet he wasn't offering a full refund. I have no time to go back now and am very sorry to have trusted this shop. They are well aware of the lack of skills for the woman doing my nails and didn't care. A family business. They didn't offer to credit back my money and offering cash only gives you very little room to be made whole if something goes wrong. Someone else wrote a bad review and called this business a scam. I agree. Based on other reviews, Some at this salon may do good work, but they know what they did to me. if you are not a regular customer, do not trust this place. If you are a regular customer, this shop does not service visitors with integrity. Now I know why they are cash only. No easy refund for customers. read more

We were visiting the Sisters area and needed pedicures and found Sisters Nails & Spa. I have a big toe nail that was damaged 40 years ago and always grows in thick and ugly. Lily saw that and cut off the damaged growth and built up a new nail area - amazing. My foot looks the best it has in years. Best pedicure I've ever had (and I've had several). The facility is modern, and the luxury chairs massage you while they do a great job on your feet.
