Nothing was really ever fixed I went to another orthodontist who proceeded to ask me who the hell did what they did to my mouth and asked for names and proceeded to tell me what they did was NOT in practice. I was forced back into braces for another 3 years. Over these 3 years I had mentioned this first encounter with braces to many dentists and even oral surgeons all of which had nothing but negative things to say and some of which even had their own similar experiences with them specifically. They all warn of the orthodontists at bluefish and I do as well NOT THE PLACE FOR BRACES JUST ASK AROUND. They are the bottom of the barrel and extremely disrespectful. I had only one bad experience with a cleaning there so as far as that goes I cannot complain. 3 years lots of money down the drain, lots of pain, frustration and all for nothing.

I went along with it despite my gut feelings after talking with him, He had referred me to see a surgeon to get some teeth removed before getting braces, the appointment we made with the surgeon was today we called and said we would be coming in and they said sullivan hadn't sent in my x-rays, after hanging up they called back saying they talked to sullivan and that he would be withholding my x-rays until I made another appointment with him claiming AGAIN that I would get my braces through him (nothing like a money hungry dentist huh?) after this experience i am sure to look somewhere else for a dentist who is more concerned about clients then dollars. They did call me once within that month and say they had an opening for me to get a cleaning two days later, but it didn't work for my schedule. When I was there for my filling I asked about a cleaning for my husband and I, and they said they still couldn't book me and then said they didn't even have my husband down as needing one. I let them know he did as well--it was the entire point of us going there, but it I didn't say that. The receptionist said okay she'd call us but it's been six months and the only communication from them has been a happy birthday email. Why would they accept us as new patients if they don't even have capacity to provide services? I can't help but feel like some judgement was made to deem us unworthy customers. Definitely unprofessional no matter what caused things to play out this way.

So she extracted those as well. $8500.00 later she out right refused to finish my bottom partial. Her treatment coordinator simply replied to every question I had with " You have been referred to another dentist." Dr. Theda was paid in full for this work both by my insurance and in cash by me. I have no idea why she referred me. My insurance will not pay twice for same procedure and I am left withOUT four bottom front teeth. The office did offer me a refund but it was so little I can not make my mouth whole until I save enough money to pay for the copays at another dentist. When I said that I wanted a regular cleaning, they told me that they would be "negligent" if they did a regular cleaning. I disagreed. I am the patient, so I should decide what treatment I am comfortable with, and not be forced to do a treatment that is expensive and unnecessary.
