    Sunset King Room

This lovely hotel deserves more than 5 stars! Charming staff, top shelf amenities and many levels of comfort. You can borrow a bike, or walk to the waterfront, or to the numerous nearby restaurants. There are 3 beaches very nearby. And you'll have a nice beach bag to carry the towels they provide for beach and pool. And the pool is salt water and nice, even in winter, at 92 degrees, with a nearby sauna. A fireplace in the room and big screen tv, with super comfy furnishings make it a cozy getaway. The wonderful breakfast and ice cold sparkling water in the hallways not to mention fresh chocolate chip cookies take this place over the top! We are already planning our return visit!

Stayed here for a birthday over night with my wife while leaving our 2 littles with grandparents. Great restaurant and the outdoor pool was amazing even in the winter! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay here again!

Run, don't walk to this adorable boutique hotel. The decor is understated seashore and every detail takes into account the comfort of the guests. The hotel has a heated saltwater pool and sauna, open until 10pm. The breakfast was buffet style healthy and delicious! The views from the hotel rooftop are great, surfers and passing ships in the distance. We will definitely be back!

Roof top was good but they needed reservations it seems .. range of IPAs was less but the local beer was good . Todd was awesome with his service -.. good crowd .. food was good too.. we liked it overall :)

Handmade potato chips and an awesome sangria on the roof top.

This gem defines relaxation. We needed a few quiet days to unwind and the Break was what we needed. Quiet, no pressure, super relaxing. The rooms are huge and quiet. The hotel was full but not crowded. Every room has a wireless access point so total, fast internet access. There are two cell phone repeaters so service was fantastic. The pool is awesome. The rooftop lounge is a great retreat. Super helpful staff. The spa services were top notch. We have no complaints. We will be back.

Nice sitting area in the lobby.

This hotel is gorgeous and we absolutely loved the gas fireplaces in the rooms. We booked it for 3 nights after seeing them on Groupon. Unfortunately, Groupon messed up and didn't send them my reservation (after I paid in full) so when we got there they had no room for us. I had reserved an Ocean View room and it was our anniversary, as well as Valentine's Day and fortunately, they were able to squeeze us into an available room but had to move us the next day because it was reserved for someone else. I was disappointed that we didn't get the ocean view and the desk/seating area, but was so grateful that they could accommodate us. They did their best to make up for what was definitely NOT their error. They gave us dining credits, a small bottle of wine, chocolates and the next day when they had to move us, they left a beautiful half dozen chocolate dipped strawberries in the fridge for us. I was so grateful for all the nice touches. They also gave us dining credits throughout our stay. Loved the beautiful walk-in rain shower in the first room. Didn't care for the tub in the second room though, as it was very high and the door was very narrow so my husband had to help me get in and out so I wouldn't fall. The bathrooms have heated floors and automatic vents which are wonderful though! Breakfast was complimentary and so tasty! I enjoyed the beautiful dining area and my egg casserole and pancakes. Best overnight oats I've ever had and always fresh fruit and what looked like homemade bread for toast. Our dinner at the restaurant the first night was OK but the drinks and service were fabulous! We went to the rooftop bar for more drinks and loved that so much that we went there every night! It was one of the highlights of our stay! Bartenders were so friendly and the bar area is gorgeous. During the day the views are beautiful. This is absolutely a 5-star place in my opinion! Even with the issues we had, I was so impressed by how comfortable and beautiful everything was -- on our last day there was a different staff and they were a little slower replacing things for breakfast and that first night we thought our dinner was a tad too salty, but aside from Groupon's mess (and the tub) everything else was beautiful. We received a gift certificate to come back and try the room we wanted another time and will definitely do that. I'm sure I'll be able to add on that 5th star when we do!! :)

The staff at the hotel appear to be unprofessional and inexperienced. On my first visit over the winter the check in process was unorganized, and I was unsure as to who was actually the staff since they were not dressed in uniform or professional attire. Later I was unable to turn the ac off in my room, I called for help and could hear the two girls running through the halls on the way to our room. They arrived barefoot and did eventually help me fix the problem but it was odd that two young girls barefoot were running around as the hotel as maintenance. The elevator was very shaky and made a lot of noise. I was grateful that I did not have a lot of luggage or people with me, I used the stairs for the rest of my visit. I recently attended a seminar at the hotel, it began at 8am and had approximately 200 people attending. When I arrived at 7:45 the coffee was already empty. They had only one container for everyone. There was no one around to ask for more. About 30 min later after the discussion began they came to restart the coffee maker and they said it would've done in 15min After 15 min it was only hot water, not coffee. The girl said it was broken then left. She later showed up another gentleman, who was also in street clothes, with headphones on his head, and they were carrying two box's of joe. At this point it was 10am and everyone was just over the fact that they failed at providing coffee for their guests. I think some people had it but for me I was just ready for lunch at this point. The seminar was for all different medical professionals and I attend these types of lectures at other locations regularly. At other locations we always have plenty of coffee, and typically some kind of breakfast from muffins & bagels to breakfast burritos and usually fruit or yogurt.

Sadly I had to text the General Manager twice to get no reply (no other manger on duty) and talk to the front desk three times before anyone offered us a new room but we got back at 11:30 at night and were not going to pack up to move to u pack at that time. Location is cool and hotel could be better if they cared about the property and wanted to better serve their clients

She cleaned up an accident spill, replaced our drink (even though I was the idiot who spoiled said drink), got us new napkins, and brought anything we asked for. She was personable and we really loved having her as a server! The drinks were next level from presentation to taste. The matcha cocktail in the teddy bear cup was perfection! The food was tasty and flavorful! If you love seafood, charcuterie, fondue or cheese on cheese on cheese, then this is the place! You want to get away, but you don't want people around you. We wanted to go the beach for a couple days since COVID cancelled our vacations. In picking and deciding, only the Atlantic House still had availability. So I booked it. Expensive for three nights, just over $1000 for a king bed on the second floor, with a balcony and ocean view. The staff was friendly, but during our three nights they didn't check the room, change the garbage or replace towels. Is this the way of COVID? We don't know. No one said anything or asked if we needed anything. There is coffee in the lobby and in the room, but we took care of our own coffee needs. We wanted to park our car for a couple hours to go to the beach after check out. We had to be out by 11, but check in isn't until 3 pm. It would be nice if they would accommodate that after dropping $1000. We were told if our car was in the lot after 11, it would be towed. Not the most welcoming position to take. Parking at Narragansett is at a super premium. This one detail is the difference between me wanting to go back there and not. We headed straight home after not being able to find parking at Narragansett or Scarborough. Nice location, clean room. Friendly staff. Expensive for what you get, and no housekeeping for three days with no explanation. Maybe it's different when there isn't a pandemic around.

If you chose to sleep at the beach you would have less sand than we did in our room and we didn't even go to the beach. I stayed here with two friends because we were in town for a wedding. We checked in quickly to get into the room before the wedding, but we weren't able to do a full sweep of the room, or set up our bed. When we returned to the hotel to sleep after midnight we noticed there was no one in the lobby. When we got in the room we noticed a few things: the floor was covered in sand, there was trash in the fridge from previous guests, there was no toilet paper, no paper towel, gum on the wall AND unclean sheets on the bed. When we went to check out in the morning I told the front desk of our issues expecting that they would give us some sort of discount or refund because that type of service is completely unacceptable. The woman at the desk said "oh we have had a problem with that cleaner" and "yes, the room next door to you also had a similar problem". She didn't offer any sort of compensation aside from "sorry" and she clearly knew this was an issue. I find that completely unacceptable. They should have at least taken off some amount of money for the inconvenience. When I returned home I reviewed the establishment on Orbitz as that was where the reservation was booked. This hotel had the audacity to respond to me saying that the situation was rectified and that they came to clean the room when we asked! This never occurred as we stayed in room 121 not room 119, who also had an unclean space.
