Tiara is amazing! Patient and knows her craft! Absolutely fantastic, she has been training my rescue puppy with all the commands plus her impulse control wanting to play towards people and other dogs. If you have younger or older dogs that needs help Tiara is definitely the person to call!!

Tiara is amazing. I was referred by a fellow fur mom that we run into on our dog walks. Found out our veterinarian of 40 years - Dr Evans, All Pets Veterinary in Rancho Palos Verdes - also highly recommends Tiara. Tiara is very professional. Teaches me to be the dog mom I need to be for my service dog. What I find to be great though is that Tiara teaches via POSITIVE enforcement. (Our first trainer - we moved cities - enforced more via "punishment"). We have had a few lessons so far and I highly recommend going with Sit Happens.

Our dog Bear was such a handful. She would bite our ankles, chase our small children, growl and bark at us and basically make us wonder "why" we would ever be foolish enough to get a puppy. I had spoken to various trainers and was skeptical that anyone could help. Tiara showed up on time and was extremely professional. She got right to work with Bear. Bear was a different dog around her; not the hellion we had been dealing with for 8 weeks. After training with Tiara for an hour, she was exhausted. Tiara taught us so much. She was awesome (and funny). Our dog was different after the first training session. Three sessions in and we are now teaching our dog tricks. Whaaaatt?? This can't be the same dog. We have 3 special needs kids under the age of 10. Tiara has been a life saver. Bear no longer wants to eat our children. Thanks Tiara. See you next week!

Tiara is the absolute best. She has really helped my puppy come a long way. Or should I say, she has really helped me come a long way. Tiara has given me the most valuable life tools to be a good dog mom to my 65 pound labradoodle. Anytime I have felt anxious or stressed by my pups misbehaving, she has come to the rescue and given me a route to fix it, and it has always worked!!! Tiara is a life saver and a staple in our family now. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us and Oliver! Oh and she follows all necessary Covid protocols!!

Is your furry friend bossing you around?! Do you walk your dog or he/she walks you instead?! Well we have a solution to your pawblem (get it!) Lol Tdawg is one of the best dog trainer in the LBC! As suggested by her nickname, Tiara is really great with any kinds of dogs. Our dog Biggie (American bulldog/ Aussie mix) is big, suggested by its name, too :) trained with her. The main problem with Biggie- he is so friendly with people and dogs that sometimes he gets in trouble because he does not know how to properly say hello. He is like that one weird kid in high school, if you get to know him, he is super cool, but awkwardly does not know how to socialize.. thats our dog lol. On a serious note... There is one point in time that we (gf and I) as dog parents, wanted to give up because Biggie was getting too reactive at the dog park. His once friendly side becomes excited/anxious-reactive around dogs because he is constantly experiencing being bullied at the dog park by other dogs. Understandably, he just wants to defend himself, but it was getting out of hand. Then one dog parent at the dog park suggested us to contact Tiara to train Biggie. Gladly, we did and she has been a blessing to us because now Biggie learned how to control himself. Although, still a working progress just like anything, we now have the confidence as a dog parent to guide Biggie to the path of being a "good boy." And all thanks to Tiara's teaching, we never gave up on our best friend, Biggie :) Sooo what are you waiting for?! Go meet the amazing Tdawwwwg!!!

Tiara was amazing! Thank you, BaileyAnna is 90% better, I am working with her everyday! She has really stopped barking and not pulling when I work. Today, she was perfect not pulling me when I was walking with my walker in Leisure World, Seal Beach. I would be happy to recommend you to anyone looking for an excellent and affordable dog trainer! Tiara is an AMAZING dog trainer! My gf and I recently adopted a dog, Luna, and we're both first time dog owners. We really wanted to set up Luna for success, especially since she was a stray and had a history of abuse. Tiara was recommend to us by a friend and even though we live in San Diego, we have made the 1.5 hr drive up to Long Beach multiple times to meet up with Tiara. After a few sessions, Tiara helped us accomplish some of our biggest goals: 1) walking well on a leash, 2) recall, 3) getting Luna to do simple things like leave it, wait, stay, and to give us eye contact In addition to our training sessions, Tiara is always available to help us via text or call. Since my girlfriend and I have A LOT of questions, we constantly text or call Tiara and she's always quick to respond. Not only does she give us Training advice, she has also helped us figure out Luna's diet, washing routine, and helped to answer some behavior related questions during a period of time when Luna had separation anxiety. We would 100% recommend Tiara to anyone!

Tiara is exceptional. My dog had a lot of reactivity towards other dogs and men when I first got him as a foster. He would go absolutely nuts when he saw a dog even if they were super far. He would pull on his leash, whine, growl, bark, anything to try and go get the dog he saw. He would also growl and bark at men when he saw them and wouldn't let strangers touch him. Tiara helped teach me how to socialize him and get him more comfortable around highly populated areas that had people and dogs all around. I feel much more confident now being able to take my dog out in new environments. So grateful for Tiara and everything she's done for my dog. He adores her and gets so excited to see her. I recommend her to everyone I know.

Very satisfied!!!! I asked for help to understand my pet. She gave us all the tools and great ideas on how to make Chai feel more calm and happy to obey our commands

Genuinely, a talented trainer. Tiara not only loves training animals, she has a way with training the owner in a fun and straightforward manner. My husband and I have utilized her expertise privately and in a class setting and highly recommend her skills!

When we got Duke as a puppy, I thought i was prepared but was so wrong. We tried several training classes and then found Tiara. We knew we were in good hands. She was the only trainer who took the time and worked with Duke till he mastered the "DOWN" command. NO other trainer could do this. It was multiple classes and countless hours and she never gave up. She also has a way of building up an owner's confidence so we feel like we can effectively train our pups. I constantly get compliments on what a good dog Duke is and I attribute that to Tiara and her methods. Seek out her group training sessions on Sunday, you won't be disappointed.

    Moonie thanks you Tiara!

Tiara is truly amazing! I have a puppy with separation anxiety and she really helped us work through our crate training process. Not only was she helpful in giving us the tools needed to follow through after she left, but she also gave us the reassurance that this stage would eventually pass! While he still has some room for growth - he's only 4 months old - I can already see a difference!! You will not be disappointed with Sit Happens!

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Yasmeen at Zenni Dogs!…read more My husband and I are first-time dog owners with a happy, energetic black lab. When we started looking for a trainer, we received two separate referrals for Yasmeen -- and we quickly understood why. At about seven months old, our pup had unfortunately been bitten by another dog, and we wanted help reintroducing him to social settings with both people and other dogs. We also wanted to learn tools and techniques to feel more confident managing him both inside and outside our home. From day one, Yasmeen was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping our dog (and us!) succeed. She took the time to understand his personality and tailored her training approach perfectly -- we started seeing improvement after just the second session. Her positive, effective methods made training fun and engaging for our whole family. She also shared practical tips we could easily use every day, which made a huge difference in reinforcing progress at home. Thanks to Yasmeen, we now feel so much more confident with our dog and better understand his needs and reactions in different situations. We're so grateful we decided to work with her -- highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and professional trainer who truly earns the trust and respect of both her clients and their dogs.

I never thought in a million years our dog would be able to walk next to another dog, but it happened. I really enjoyed the hands on training we got from Yasmeen and how she aims to help not only the dog, but the owner as well. The practice and consistency really helped with each training session and I have definitely seen a massive improvement in our dog. I look forward to continue training with Yasmeen and learning each time. Consistency is key!

Not his fault because it's in their genetics, plus in the fear stage but we wanted to do our best and provide the training so we can set him up for life. Alex is really one of a kind. after 5 weeks, our little guy knows boundaries of doors, sit, wait, down, plays fetch, come, stay, place, walk - what more could we ask for? What I like the most too is that you go to his location at least once a week and you train alongside him so you can also learn and do right by your puppy which is just as important. Don't look anywhere else! Alex is amazing.

Charlie was reactive (barking and pulling at the leash upon seeing other dogs) mouthy with constant nips to the hands, resource guarding (which really freaked us out) and really struggled with confidence and basic manners. We knew Charlie is a sweet, loving boy but training him was out of our wheelhouse. Upon meeting Alex, we immediately were made to feel supported and hopeful. What stood out the most was how calm, patient, and warm Alex was with our Charlie. He clearly understands canine behavior and approaches training in a way that builds trust and confidence rather than fear. You could see our Charlie begin to relax and learn almost immediately under his guidance. His mouthing stopped immediately, and the unique new schedule Alex provided has brought order and calm to Charlie's day. Not only are his guidelines used to create order, but also to strengthen the bond and relationship we want with our dog. Most importantly Alex is patient while trying to train US. He did an incredible job communicating with us throughout the entire process. Every day he sent videos, updates, and check-ins so we could see our dog's progress and understand what he was working on. Weekly at home training sessions helped us with Charlie's behaviors specific to our home. Alex made us feel included in the process and helped us learn how to continue reinforcing the training at home. The transformation in Charlie been amazing. He's more confident, far less reactive, and his manners have improved tremendously. We're so grateful for the care, dedication, and expertise Alex put into helping our dog succeed. I am sure Alex will be in Charlie's life for a very long time.
