    Wild wings
    K C.

We live locally and love stopping by for great wings, hand cut fries and cold drinks. Dont let the dive bar vibe put you off,but the staff are super friendly and you won't leave hungry! Wings with their house "wild" sauce are some of my husband's favorite wings locally. Give them a try!

Good food. Only one waitress for the whole place when we were there. She was very nice with a friendly smile.

Good food and friendly service. Took a long time to get good eventhough it was relatively quiet night. Good social distances of all the tables.

Wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted a low key pub after a day of travel. We were slightly hesitant at first when we pulled into the parking lot, it looked a little shady. We went in anyhow and were pleasantly surprised, it was fairly nice inside for being a pub. They had a semi-split bar and dining area, so choices were available. With covid, they had several tables closed to provide dining separation. We interacted with 4-5 different staff members and they were all friendly. They didn't have a beer menu and we couldn't see the taps from our seats, but the guy helping us narrow down what they had and suggested a solid IPA I had not had before. Food choices are what you would expect for a pub, fair food prices, so we opted to get wings and a pizza. Pizza was nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad. They wings however, some of the best we have ever had. Served with celery and some of the chunkiest blue cheese ever! Restrooms were also clean. Overall, pleasant experience and we would go back again.

    Fresh curly fries with Parmesan!

Don't let the divey ambiance (which I love anyway) fool you. Great service and good food. They also have great bands.

Garlic and Cheese wings were some of the best wings I've had. People were nice and beer was cold. What more could you ask for :-)

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

Everything was clean and maintained well. Our server came over and took our drink order. The drinks came out quickly. My 7&7 was strong and hit the spot. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch Mac & cheese and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. The food came out fairly quickly and man o man! Everything looked and smelled awesome. Mac & cheese ohh so yummy and such a huge portion, and it was only a side portion. The wings..... the best I've had in such a long time. Perfectly cooked. Generous and flavorful sauce. Bleu cheese, house made, equally as good as everything else. Everything was good and a fair price. We left happy, and full.

We ordered the Rodeo Mac and Cheese and the Bacon Chicken Ranch Mac and Cheese (both in the whole size--think 5-6 cups each!), plus the Rodeo Burger, which comes topped with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onion straws. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, and even with our family of five, we still had leftovers. So. Much. Food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We ate downstairs, though there's a bar upstairs if that's more your vibe. Our waitress was super friendly and even tried to warn us that one whole mac would be plenty--but we wanted to try both flavors, so next-day leftovers were just part of the plan. Pricing felt very reasonable for the giant portions and the quality. Mooney's is one of those restaurants that knows exactly what it does well--and does it really well. We'd definitely come back!

There's no staff, just the owner/chef/waiter, and because everything is cooked fresh (obviously a good thing) it's SLOOOOW. My wife and I were the only customers (mid afternoon), and we were there for almost 90 minutes. She liked her lunch burrito a lot, and it looked great. But my ham and egg sandwich was way too salty for my taste. Having said that, it was on very good, thick, fresh bread. But again, the timing thing -- my sandwich came out, and then we waited 8 minutes for her burrito. Obviously (per the reviews) most people seemed to like it, but....

Great bones... but to put it in context... the ceiling hasn't been painted since the 50's either.... we're both mature and remember the days when cigarettes weren't banned in restaurants... Proprietor was friendly and as quick as a one man show can be. As others have said; three meal options. If we weren't tired from a day at the museum we would have been more chatty and I'm sure the stories would have been a delight. Go if you're up for that kind of experience. Lettuce was crazy fresh and delicious... it seemed that all the other dinner ingredients were pulled and cooked from the freezer as needed.
