I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Small bar that serves food as well, and I wanted my chicken wing fix while I was visiting and these were the best I had last time I was in the area. Friendly waitress. Prompt service. The bar is not new by any means and I didn't use the restroom so can't comment on how clean they are (another reviewer commented they were dirty), but otherwise clean enough. The wings could have been a little crispier for my taste, but sauce is spot on and delicious. If you are a wing lover give 'em a try. read more

Really good fish fry and margaritas... delivered! Since NYs covid-19 accommodation to allow bars/restaurants to deliver alcoholic beverages, we discovered Beef's margaritas! $10. for a 32 oz container that arrived icy cold! So good! Although they try, I had the worst french onion soup in my life here. The soup was delivered with cheese on the bottom, huge cooked onions and almost no broth. I love french onion soup and was super disappointed in this one. As well the french fries were soft, obviously cooked in old oil and were almost unedible. I hate to give bad reviews, but if this restaurant is to succeed, it needs to change. Also needing changed are the waitresses. They were rude and not caring. A good restaurant has a pleasant staff. Will never go there again. We waited over 1/2 an hour before I went and got menus from the waitress, who then came to our table for a drink order. We ordered when she came back with our drinks. We were from out of town looking for a place to grab dinner. This came up with good reviews. Local place for sure, but so worth it. Food was excellent and will hit again if in the area. Absolutely awful. All the bartenders/cooks are so rude and makes every drink I had watered down. Asked for a double and paid $11 for a double and saw the blonde bartender only give me one. All the soda I had with my mixed drinks were flat. The place is so disgusting and employees just hanging around when there is literally puke on the ground and food all over the tables. The employees were obviously high on something and 1 by 1 would go downstairs and come up all suspicious, it was SO obvious. My friend left her card and walked outside and noticed in the parking lot when they closed in 10 minutes and they refused to let her come in and get her card. Went in the next day and the owner basically told her to "f*** off" and he will run his business as he pleases. They lost my business and sure as hell would tell anyone to not go. If Cheers were in Horseheads, it would be this place. I have not lived in the area for 20 years, and I still see people I know when I come to this place. Even better, I feel that the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. They had good, well priced beer on tap, a great selection, and friendly and a knowledgeable bar staff. Was intimidated by the exterior...SO GLAD we continued in (probably dressed a bit too nice but that's okay!). Great food, friendly service, great prices. It's not the best looking place, but they have nice thick juicy burgers and cold beer, cheap.

Awesome little dive bar. Boneless wings are can't miss. Thursday nights are free darts and free music definitely recommend.

The Chicken Po' Boy was the closest to southern taste that I have found up north. Very creative and diverse.

Wanted quality food that would satisfy my pickier tastes, as well as my two teen sons' appetites. Beef's was the perfect choice. We came on Taco Tuesday, when tacos are $2.70 each, and a big glass of margarita for $4. My tacos were large enough to take my second one home. The 'hard shell' is actually a soft shell baked to perfection-- far preferable to store bought hard shells. One son - a burger connoisseur- devoured his perfectly cooked medium rare burger in five minutes. Fries were thinner and crispy and plentiful. My other son had the quesadilla app -- a messy plateful of deliciousness. Everything was absolutely fresh. We waited a bit between our mozzarella sticks and our meals because they waited to prepare the food so it wouldn't sit on a plate until we were ready. The sticks were fine. I like the cheese a little more gooey, but they were tasty. The waiter was , I'm pretty sure, the cook, but attentive despite double duty. This is so much a townie bar -- regulars walk up to the kitchen and tell the guy what they want. It looks like a dive, but get over that, the food is filling and yummy. And forty bucks total for three- drinks, apps, dinners and tip, with leftovers. read more
