Crispy Chicken Sandwich (comes with potato chips), with spicy mustard on the side, a side serving of pickles, and upgraded greens
    Asheritah C.

We stopped into Hand + Foot for lunch and were so glad we did. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with exposed brick and ro artwork that gives the place an artsy, modern feel while still honoring its historic setting. Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

General tso's cauliflower tofu poboy with side of greens

We arrived for an early dinner with a 4 year old and 1 year old. Like many folks with small kids, I was a bit put off by the name but with the great reviews, we decided to try it. The ambiance is dim and quiet, but they were happy to have us. My 4 year old used colored pencils on coloring sheets we brought with us. For babies and small kids, they have ingelisa chairs that clip on the high tables and I was concerned about the high chairs for our 4 year old but it was fine. She devoured her entire meal(chicken tenders) and a half of our 1 year olds' (they have a kids menu with chicken tenders, grilled peanut butter and fluff, noodles with butter, hot dog..). The service was fast and great. While I am vegetarian and my spouse is gluten free, we are always pleasantly surprised when we both find delicious food. I loved the general tso's poboy with cauliflower and tofu. I wish there was more cauliflower since my 1 year old took many of those pieces. My spouse got something with "pulled pork and quinoa" and he said it was very good too.

Wow, what creative and unique dishes. This restaurant is a gem. Great service and excellent Asian fusion dishes. We had the pork shank, butter chicken sandwich, the fried rice, and banh mi sandwich. They were all great but our favorites were in the order I listed. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant in Corning, NY!

The ddukkbokki dish was a weird texture (which I should've surmised) but otherwise taste wise we enjoyed the fried rice. It was on the oilier side but it was savory enough to balance out and justify the oil! (our threshold which is a personal preference) We did takeout so can't speak to service or ambience but they gave us a lot of extra utensils and napkins.

Super cute that we were given smarties on our check in place of mints!

What a strange name for a restaurant - but don't let that stop you! the food here was super delicious!!! I got the Beer Brisket sandwich, which was so tender and flavorful, the everything bun was soft and delicious too! I did not care for the potato salad though, which I paid $2 extra for - without knowing (they really should tell you) - it was VERY VERY heavy on the vinegar - this is the reason for the 4 instead of a 5 rating! My husband got the Gluten Free Buttermilk fried chicken and LOVED every bite of it -- he couldn't believe it was GF! Unfortunately, because we stopped in for lunch on our drive home to Cleveland, we did not partake in any drinks but they had an extensive bar and a great drink menu!

I stopped in for lunch while visiting the area and the service and ambiance was great! I was intrigued by their menu and all the great reviews but was a little disappointed. I was looking forward to the bunny melt with braised rabbit which was tasty but I didn't think it was amazing. My husband had the beef brisket sandwich which he said was dry. They were served with a bag of chips that were basically Lay's crinkle chips which was disappointing and I would have appreciated homemade chips instead. I upgraded my side to the vinegar potato salad which was just okay. The star of our meal was the cold soba noodles, which were so flavorful and delicious! It was a small bowl that we shared as an appetizer but we wished we just had two bowls of that instead. They also had free fentanyl test strips available in the bathroom - an unexpected find but a great way to care for the public who needs them!

What a fun find! A salesperson highly recommended it and then proceeded to tell me the whole menu as their favorites! They didn't lie! I had never had fried rice like that and wish I had the time to have tried a few more things off the menu. The bar was pretty and it was clear that this was a local favorite. They had long community tables in the middle and more intimate seat along the perimeter; I liked the mix. The staff were friendly and served you with a smile. I loved that your check came with a pack of Smarties! I haven't had a treat that wasn't a fortune cookie come with a check in forever. I wish I lived closer!

Great addition to the culinary scene on Market Street and desperately needed, too. Self described as a "Convivial bistro pairing creative, seasonal sandwiches & mains with craft beer & cocktails," immediately you recognize this is not another burger, wings, and mozzarella stick bar scene. Much more! Our group of six waited about 15 minutes on a busy Thursday night to be seated. All the food was excellent, thoughtfully designed, and executed flawlessly. Service was professional while remaining lighthearted and fun. Ya know, convivial! Great job. Wonderful variety. Good value. Has all the bells and whistles sounding on my "Give 'em a whirl" meter. No brainer--dine here.

Great service, by a friendly bartender. The tune poke bowl was first rate. Pleasant atmosphere. I'd go back if ever in Corning again.

Good food and portions, not really expensive or anything. I got the chicken sandwich and it tasted amazing.

Great bones... but to put it in context... the ceiling hasn't been painted since the 50's either.... we're both mature and remember the days when cigarettes weren't banned in restaurants... Proprietor was friendly and as quick as a one man show can be. As others have said; three meal options. If we weren't tired from a day at the museum we would have been more chatty and I'm sure the stories would have been a delight. Go if you're up for that kind of experience. There's no staff, just the owner/chef/waiter, and because everything is cooked fresh (obviously a good thing) it's SLOOOOW. My wife and I were the only customers (mid afternoon), and we were there for almost 90 minutes. She liked her lunch burrito a lot, and it looked great. But my ham and egg sandwich was way too salty for my taste. Having said that, it was on very good, thick, fresh bread. But again, the timing thing -- my sandwich came out, and then we waited 8 minutes for her burrito. Obviously (per the reviews) most people seemed to like it, but....
