They gave us back the fee but their price is 50% higher than the place we use now. The place we use now is just as nice and they don't try to add on extra fees for extra services. After being a client from the beginning when they opened they didn't seem to care about our loyalty. When we found out how much cheaper we could get the same or better care we switched. Best money we ever saved. They never even tried to get us back. We have also met other people that left them bringing their dogs to this place we use now.

We took out standard poodle here for a needed grooming. She is 8.5 years old and is usually…read moregroomed every 5 weeks. She is well trained and a Service Dog and is easy to work with. David Pierce, the owner, said he has been grooming poodles for 20 years, suggested we cut her to 1/8 inch and I said no way - 1/2 to 1 inch, comb out her out, follow her current shape cut, etc. When we picked her up she looked like she was groomed by a 5 year old. He ignored everything we said, clipped her unevenly to about 1/8 inch, with longer clumps of hair sticking out. Bottom line: she looks like a homeless, abandoned dog. Thank goodness this will grow out and we can get her groomed by an accomplished groomer. We should have realized this was the wrong place to take her when he told us he could do her right away when other groomers were booked for weeks. It is possible he is better with other breeds, but do not bring him a poodle!

Over time, I never saw the same vet twice, they would look at my dogs history during my visit. I never left the place without having to pay $300 or $400 for each visit. If I needed any meds, I had to make another appointment for something they were already diagnosed for and pay for the visit again. I'm not saying the vets may not be qualified or the staff was not friendly, I just had to pay them so much money without a positive result in the end of my dogs demise. So you pay them hundreds or more of dollars, then you need to pay someone else thousands of dollars for a diagnosis. I am sure they help many animals, however, they are extremely over booked. You and your animals are just another client on their rotation.

Positive reviews encouraged us to give The Bark Park a try -- we were very pleasantly surprised! The staff were wonderful, and always caring about Mya's medicines, unusual meal times, and need for monitoring because of a leg brace. They were great about giving her time with the other dogs even though she had her own private suite. Love that they were flexible about when we came, and that we could watch the yard action too with their cameras! Thank you to all the staff and management for giving Mya a good day care experience!
