We had a second floor and garage addition over 18 years ago from C & Z. Flooring installed in the second floor is still good after all these years and did not need to be replaced. This time around, I contracted for another addition to the side of the house and a kitchen remodel with other work being done to every single room in the house except for one. This was a huge undertaking. Hats off to the crew who did the first remodel as there were 12 people living in the house during that renovation; this time there were only 7 people living through most of the renovation (and a dog) increasing to 9 towards the end of the work. While the crew members changed over the years, Aaron Holbrook was present for both remodels. Trying to remodel and renovate around so many people was challenging and so we are grateful to Jonathan King, Patrick Smith, Ron, Anthony and especially Jason who almost single handedly painted the entire house. The crew had to work around all these people while installing cabinets, flooring, painting, ceiling tiles, framing, etc....The crew was flexible, considerate and courteous. I feel the overall cost of the project was fair for the amount of work that was done both inside and outside of the house. We will be contacting them again for future work.

Josh walked the area with me and explained what he would be doing. After confirming the issue he proceeded to seal off the area that he'd be working in and started working. After 2 days he cleaned up and I was ready to get in and put new Sheetrock up. I did find a little more while working on an area and contacted Josh who coordinated with Phill to stop by and check. He arrived the next day and not only took care of what I found but opened up a wider area and treated that was well to give me peace of mind. My entire experience with Duraclean was professional and friendly. They called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time. We walked through the job so we were sure that we were on the same page, so to speak. The carpets look terrific. I was given an estimate on the phone when I made the appointment, but the actual price turned out to be slightly less. I was very pleased and plan to call them in the spring to clean my upholstered furniture.

When we finally got my belongings back from them many items were severely damaged despite being fine after the fire. Their sump pump had malfunctioned and lots of water came through the party wall. It was a traumatic experience for me in many ways. Andy sent his crew over right away to start the water clean up (in the middle of the night) and personally came over several times AND checked in with me constantly. He bent over backwards for me and even called my insurance co several times trying to help fight my cause. Andy was constantly in contact with me and he definitely treats you like you are his only customer. I have to say Miro is also top notch. I highly recommend this company!! Do NOT let Mellon Certified Restoration of Harrisburg PA complete work at your home or manage your…read moreinsurance claim! We had water damage in December and we are still cleaning up the mess they made. The work is horrible, excuses and delays are many AND they try to charge for work that is not completed. I have scheduled an appointment with a manger (Bill) to show him the subpar and incomplete work at our home. He did not call and did not show up. We rescheduled, he showed up, agreed with the poor quality of work, took pictures and agreed that some of the work that was charged was not done at all. He assured us there would be a quick resolution. That was in January. We finally asked gave up, found another repair company and asked Mellon Certified Restoration for a final invoice. They again tried to charge us for subpar work (that will need to be redone) AND for work they never did. I have sent 4 emails to management (Bill and Chris Bond) and have received no response. Emails were sent March 1, 6 and 9 2022. This company is a fraud! The website does not even include a Harrisburg location and I am looking into that and trying to identify who owns Mellon Certified Restoration of Harrisburg.

I was trying my best to get plumbers in my area to come out and fix the pipe ( they all advertised to have 24/7 service but I didn't receive one call back out of the 9 I contacted ). I called my insurance company, USAA. They had Mellon Restoration team here within 3 hours to begin extracting the small flood in the basement and setting up equipment to dry out and extract the water. Jeff stayed till 11:30 PM to make sure he had removed the carpet padding, furniture and other wet items before he left. Of course we had no water and now it is the 4th of July! No problem, Jeff was back here by 9:00 AM, with a contact for a plumber that really does respond 24/7. HB McClure. I will get to their stellar service in another review.
