Nearly four months later, I still have not received a single appliance or a refund. Throughout this process, the owner repeatedly told me that my order would arrive "soon" or that he would send me a tracking number "tomorrow." Those promises never materialized, and my calls and messages often went unanswered for weeks. I contacted Forno directly to find out what was happening. I was informed that they had received my order but that it was canceled by the seller a few days later. I was also told that they were unable to sell to this dealer due to issues involving the California Franchise Tax Board. Had I been informed of this before my purchase, I never would have paid over $12,000 for appliances that could not be fulfilled. Despite living without any appliances for almost 4 months, I have not received a refund either. Moe, the owner, just says "Sorry, no refunds"! Based on my experience, I would highly recommend NOT doing business with this company. They are complete scammers!

Well two days later, no phone call or notification the account was charged an additional $309.25. Questioning it we called and were given the run around about trailer rental and discounts. This doesn't sit well with me, after all we agreed on a price for the week and paid in full. We did not authorize the additional charge because we were unaware of it. They just decided let's make them pay a little more without even a phone call. Here we are today, we returned the equipment and were provided a receipt. There was a break down on the receipt with all the equipment rented totaling $949.62 (the agreed upon amount. Then there was a flat charge for the $309.25, yep you guessed it, no break down, nothing about trailer discounts or equipment rented, no explanation at all just a charge. With some argument they refunded part of the charge (not all) because they said the manager was out sick. Long story short, I do not recommend Rental Guys, they will just charge you more without a written break down or real explanation of why. Terrible way to do business.

Neither customers nor the staff guy wore masks even though there is a sign to wear masks. Take my advice and send your husband here - cut about 10 mins off the trip.

I brought the leaf blower back to them in August and they now wanted to charge me $60 again just to examine the oil leak that began with their service. I am a longtime customer (well over a decade) of both the Gold River and Roseville locations - and generally have been very pleased with both the products I have purchased and the customer service experience I have had. Unfortunately, for the past six months, my experience has been nothing short of abysmal. In March, I ordered replacement outdoor cushions for furniture I originally purchased from CB in 2017. I was told the order would take 4-5 weeks for delivery, which would have meant I would have my new cushions by early May - in plenty of time for the summer season. However throughout the entire month of May and all of June, I was repeatedly told that the order had been "pushed" - meaning the delivery was delayed. I only received updates when I either called, texted or physically went into the store to inquire on the status. In late May, I was informed the delay was caused by the vendor (North Cape) because they had relocated their manufacturing facility from the midwest to Atlanta. More weeks went by with no additional information until I finally took it upon myself in mid-June to Google and discovered that this relocation had actually occurred in February as a result of a corporate acquisition. This acquisition led to significant issues with the ability of this vendor being able to manufacture and deliver products in a timely manner. After feeling extremely frustrated that CB either didn't know or didn't share with me what was really going with their vendor, I pivoted on June 30 by canceling this first order and choosing a different set of cushions from a different vendor (a vendor I was told was far more reliable- and by the way - more expensive). I placed this second order on June 30 - and was told it would take 5-6 weeks for delivery. While I was very disappointed I was going to miss a good part of the summer, I figured getting a new set of cushions by mid-August was still acceptable. Unfortunately it is now Sept. 4 and I still do not have the cushions. I only learned four days ago (8/31) that CB failed to submit the specific sizing requirements for one of the cushions to the vendor until July 12, two weeks after I had placed the order. This error led to more delays. Most frustrating is that this information was withheld from me despite my making multiple inquiries throughout August as to the status of my order. I have now lost an entire six months of the outdoor season due to circumstances entirely out of my control. I do not want to assign blame to any single person at CB. Instead, I believe this situation is likely the result of a systematic customer service failure within this company. There has been both a complete lack of proactive, regular communication to me (as the costumer), and a failure to proactively take whatever steps necessary internally to resolve this problem and get the product to the customer as soon as possible. I directly requested several times that CB explore an expedited shipment of the cushions - but these requests were either never fully pursued or an explanation of why this wasn't possible was never provided to me. I hope that CB will take my comments as constructive feedback and evaluate what improvements they can make so that this situation does not occur to other customers in the future. I also want to acknowledge that CB - to their credit- has offered me a substantial discount on the final purchase of these cushions. While I do appreciate this gesture, I would have much preferred to have received my cushions in the delivery timeframe that was promised.
