I was able to return to Gulleys 4 days after my purchase, and the manager in charge refused to refund or replace the dead plant. The manager in charge did offer 30% off my next purchase. I declined, deciding my shopping days at gulleys was over. I purchased a new fuscia at Lowe's a few weeks later, and the picture is how it is looking today. Independent nurseries complain that the big box stores are squeezing them out. My suggestion is the independent nurseries improve their service and stand behind their product if they want to compete.

The following codes are found next to each item on the receipt and correspond to the guarantee given: Code A - 30 day guarantee: All Greenhouse plants, including but not limited to annuals, houseplants, bonsai, orchids, and other tropical non-winter hardy plants. When we replied to their email letting them know that their website said otherwise and that they might want to improve it so they may deliver better customer service. We decided to check to see if they were part of the Better Business Bureau, and it turns out they are not. Which means they're not regulated by the government, which seems pretty sketchy to me.

So far I have bought 3 cords of firewood from this company and all 3 times I have been happy…read more Jeremy calls me back pretty fast and always squeezes me in even though I live in Lakewood. The first time there was a mixup and he left the wood on the pallets that he normally charges extra for. The people that drop off the wood are always professional and leave the wood right where you tell them. His invoices always outline all of the charges and I have yet to see a hidden fee. If you live south of 36 and 25 there is an extra delivery fee however I'm ok with that because it's left in my driveway exactly where I want it. He also makes sure the pieces he sends are the right length for a wood stove and not a fireplace. He also gives discounts to repeat customers. This year he ran out of oak so he substituted pecan for the same price. Yes I can get it cheaper but I either I can't get it delivered or they charge a ridiculous fee. Honestly if you think a business is shady because they aren't part of the BBB, you're dumb. Being part of the BBB is voluntary not mandatory. I bet most of the establishments you visit are not part of the BBB.
