We've used Turf Master Fort Collins for 2 projects at our property. Both times they prepped the soil & installed the sod. The crew exceeded our expectations -kept beds exactly as planned, cleaned entire worksite and took away everything left over/not needed. Don't bother with this company unless you have a big job that is a cake walk for them. They are "very busy" and when a smaller job comes around they will charge you left and right for anything and everything they can. I had an estimate for a 650 sf job in my backyard. They then came out and measured what exactly my space was. It ended up at 440 sf. My new quote went up $800. That does not seem right. When I went over the quote with Jorden, supposedly someone high up at this family owned for over 45 years company I have never been felt like less of a customer in my life. I can tell you this much the family that prides them self for 45 years would not be happy or pride Jorden. I would run for the hills if you are working with him. read more

I was so impressed with the service, and now that the grass has fully established itself--WOW. When I was placing my order, I started by ordering only enough sod for our back yard, but the customer service rep who helped me let me know that because of pallet pricing, if I ordered quite a bit more, I would actually pay less money! So, we got enough sod to do our entire back yard AND most of the front for less than we'd expected to pay for the back alone. The sod we ordered was Enviro-Turf, and I expected it to be somewhat thin and prickly on the feet because it was supposed to be so water efficient. It turned out to be as water-efficient as promised, but it's the lushest, softest lawn I've ever seen. It's deep green, incredibly soft on bare feet, and so thick and healthy that it amazes me. It's a joy to walk on and look at. We went from having an ugly yard to having, by far, the nicest grass in our neighborhood. We also appreciated that the sod came with very clear instructions for not only installation, but with a progressive watering schedule for the first several months of the grass's life. It was all very clear and convenient. We installed the sod ourselves, and at first, there were some yellow stripes where the edges were fitted together and lumpy places where we either didn't lay it perfectly or the ground was slightly lumpy underneath. At this point, though, it genuinely looks perfect. We also had a horrific thistle problem before installing the lawn, and for the first couple of months, little thistles kept pushing up through the sod. At month three, though, it seems to have totally choked out the thistles and it hasn't had a single weed for weeks. We would strongly recommend both Turf Master and Enviro-Turf. read more

Today, Jorden came out and installed the sod in our backyard! It looks amazing and working with Jorden was wonderful! He's personable and responsive and he made the whole process easy. We had some areas of our grass that did not look healthy. We requested that Turf Master come take a look for us. Jordan was quick to respond and came out to our house the next day. He was immediately able to diagnose our issue and provide a recommendation to resolve the issue. This year our grass is already coming back healthier than last year.
