Sitter4Paws has been such a huge help since moving to LA. There have been several nights where my boyfriend and I both had to work late so we couldn't let our dog out for his nightly walk. Sitter4Paws was there even with the last minute scheduling. They have great customer service. I don't know what I love more, the convenience of using them or the cute photos we get of Charlie on his walk. Michelle was the walker who came last time, and they were the best photos yet! Fast, professional and reliable! We had to find someone to watch our kitties with only a week's notice and they called me to confirm the same day I booked online. I even had to change the schedule a few days before and they were super accommodating, all over email! They do an initial visit and give recaps daily with pictures and an update. I was looking for an alternative to boarding my cats for a trip out of town when a friend referred me to Sitter4Paws. On initial research it almost seemed too good to be true, flexible schedules, incredibly reasonable prices, and no stressful car travel for my easily stressed cats. My concern was that my cats don't get along very well and require somewhat special care to keep them both happy without being cooped up all day. During the initial consultation with Sitter4Paws I was able to go over all my concerns, plus edit any instructions on their website afterwards. During my time away I received photos of my cats, their clean litter boxes, full food dishes, and my locked door at the end of it. I was over the moon with their service. I've always had a family friend in to care for my cat when I've travelled. This time, I couldn't find one who could stay with her & I didn't want to board her so when I came across Sitters 4 Paws, although, skeptical I thought I'd try their service. Delighted!!! They were friendly, attentive to my sensitivity and my cats need for feeding twice daily. We used Sitter4Paws for our cat and it was great! It was so easy to set up our account and they were really friendly. It was nice to be able to meet someone before booking our service and explaining all our needs. Once we were out of town, we got pictures daily of our cat playing, eating, and a clean litter box! I've used a couple of pet sitter services in my 14 years in LA and Sitter4Paws is the best service I have found. The app makes it easy to request a pet visit- and you can even let them know the time of day you prefer for the visit. Communication is a breeze- the sitter takes so many pics of my cats and everything they have done during the visit. I love sitter4paws! I had an unexpected trip for Thanksgiving, and called them since I had loved how they took care of my two cats the last time. I was so afraid they would be full due to the holidays, which they were!!!! But they still came to take care of my boys. Every morning and evening for 3 days, I received pictures and updates. One of my cats is a rescue and very skittish, and when I received a picture of Kelly and him cuddling, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I came home and the litter was cleaned, the water bowl was fresh, the boys had their toys... Kelly even watered my plants! I highly recommend them, you can definitely count on them! read more

I had a last minute work trip this past weekend and was in a bind to find a good, reputable sitter to take care of my dog, Barney. He has pneumonia and is on some pretty aggressive antibiotics, so I wanted to make sure that I found a place that could administer his medications and hang out with him while I was away. I found Sitter4Paws on Yelp and am so happy I did! Not only did they go out of their way to help me out at the last minute, but they were so helpful and wonderful about setting everything up and making me feel comfortable about leaving Barney for a day. I scheduled them to come 3 times for an hour each visit. I was at a work function on Friday night and got a lengthy email with several photos attached of all the fun Barney and Kristin (the wonderful sitter) were having! I can't recommend Sitter4Paws enough. I want to give a special shout out to Kristin who was so amazing with Barney! I have used Sitter4Paws several times for my crazy cat, Jax. I really appreciate the photos and notes I receive each time the sitter visits. As soon as I see that email each day, I worry a lot less about my little guy. And I really feel that the sitters go up and beyond by doing things like picking up loose litter, cleaning ripped paper towels (Jax's favorite), and watering my plants. In addition, my emails and questions are always answered quickly. I would highly recommend this company. read more

I have used sitter4paws West LA for over a year now. I have nothing but great things to say about them. They return calls right away. I have scheduled service with them on short and advance notice and each time I was met with a "no problem." I appreciate that they will go the extra step without a specific request----they pulled a fan out storage when the temperature was unexpectedly high to keep my cats cool. Using them makes life so much easier than cobbling together a schedule of willing friends to look after the cats while I am gone. It's completely low stress on the cats so it's perfect. As a pet owner, the daily email updates are great--very reassuring. They have made some business changes over the last year such as changing from text updates to email updates. I appreciate and support a small business that continues to adapt and change to the needs of their customers. I will continue to use them when I travel in the future. read more

We have a sweet, lovely dog, who also happens to be a bit neurotic and attention-needy. Justin took great care of him -- lots of attention and 2 long walks a day. He even got Rocky to eat his dinner each night, which is amazing because Rocky often goes on an eating strike when we leave (did I mention he's neurotic?). And, when Rocky got a bit anxious on the last day, Justin even spent extra time with him to make sure he was ok! We love our dog like he is a member of our family, and it is so nice to know that Justin treated him the same way while we were gone! read more

They were quick to respond to my questions via email, set up a consultation and the staff member who came was friendly, professional and thorough in writing down everything. I went away for two weeks and these amazing folks came to my place and fed my two cats. They were so professional and I felt so good that they were with them despite me being sooooo far away! One of my cats even dashed out of my apartment and the poor sitter got locked out and had to deal with a mess of a situation. I was in China so I was asleep when it happened and wasn't much of a help. Luckily they were able to handle it without me. I felt terrible about it but they were so kind about it all and were very professional. I would definitely use them again.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I rescued my 10 month old bichon/poodle mix, Barnaby, a couple months ago. I was super panicked when I realized I had to go on a business trip after having my little fur baby only a month. I didn't want my pup to feel abandoned, and even though my hubby would be around to care him at night, I wanted an extra level of care. My friend/colleague recommended this service -- she said she swears by it. I was a little hesitant to let a stranger come into my home and walk my dog. I sent in an application, and was quickly contacted to setup a consultation. The person who came by my home took some notes, and seemed to care quite a bit about Barnaby's needs. The process after that was insanely easy. But, I still held off and wanted to think over my options for dog care. I was getting more and more anxious about my business trip, and wasn't 100% sure about using the dogwalker service... but then the night prior to my departure, I settled on it. And it was so easy! My schedule was all setup already, and I just had an invoice waiting for me in my account. I paid for my total for the week, and included some additional notes (all the pertinent info was already entered in by the person from the consult). Then, I didn't even expect this -- but I ended up getting an email every day with a photoblog/a couple sentence write up of how the visit went. I'm really impressed by the level of care my dog got. I can see the sitters always gave him water, followed instructions, and gave my doggy plenty of attention. It seems as though there's a few different walkers who live near by that are in rotation. I have security and cameras in my building, so I'm comfortable with this. I'd def recommend to anyone else who needs a dog walker. Also, I like that my dog is the only one on the walk -- so he gets 100% attention and care. read more

The first week I was away from my cat, Sitter4Paws was great. They sent photos and emails each day with an update. However, upon returning home we found that the fireplace was on and the sliding door to the patio was wide open. I was horrified! Not only could our cat have run away but anyone could have broken in. This type of service is not acceptable. When I reached out to Sitter4Paws they only offered me a refund for 1 of 10 days. read more

I have used sitter for paws for walks for my two (crazy dogs)... They have always been great with my dogs, friendly & reliable. It's really hard to trust to have someone come into your home and leave a key- but I haven't ever worried with them... Also, I used them for an overnight stay (they came and stayed 8pm-8am), I got updates about my little guys, and when I got home everything was perfect!! I would definitely recommend sitter for paws :)) PS- my schedule tends to be crazy- they have accommodated that too...! If you need an in home sitter- these guys are great!! read more

I used sitter4paws for the first time recently for my 2 cats. I was nervous because I had a really bad experience with a past pet sitter. They were very responsive to my emails and texts and I got a text after each visit. My apartment was clean when I got home (meaning I didn't have the problem I had in the past where there was litter everywhere) and it was clear from the water glasses that someone had just refreshed them. Juan did the initial visit and it was clear he understood the little oddities of pets; he didn't look at me funny when I informed him my cats would only drink out of glasses. The only area of weakness I would say was that I had to send a reminder to put the lockbox on my door but that was resolved very quickly with a text. I would recommend sitter4paws. They clearly love animals and are motivated to do a good job (something you don't see very often anymore). read more

I was a bit hesitant on leaving my dog, Missy, with someone she wasn't accustom to since my husband and I usually have my mom watch her while we're out of town. Unfortunately my mom wasn't available at the time, and I was scrambling around to look for a dog boarding location that was reasonable in price, but most importantly, needed someone to watch my dog with special care as if she was their own. I found it with Sitter4Paws. I spoke to Kelly (owner) over the phone, and she invited Missy, and myself to visit the location to see how Missy would do in the new surrounding and with other dogs. Kelly also has a young son as well, but Missy seemed to have gotten along with everyone. I felt at ease leaving her there and during our trip, Kelly had texted photos of Missy and how she was doing. I am so in LOVE with Sitter4Paws. I have a brand new puppy, she's a mini Aussie and she is such a great dog! Unfortunately there are some nights where I have to leave her alone in her crate for 8 hours which kills me....the saving grace is Sitter4Paws. I had Jade come do a consultation with me on the first visit, and she was so friendly and thorough with how the visit would work and asked me so many questions so Lennon would do and have everything we do with her. Jade was great, she put my mind completely at ease. Tonight was the first time we used them, and we got a detailed email about everything they did with Lennon in her half hour visit, and even pictures which I appreciated so much!
