I felt bad because the last day he was coming (Friday) my doorman gave him a difficult time about the keys, they didn't want to let him go up. I never got a call from my building but an email from Petaholics letting me know, I complained to my building later. They charge extra for holidays (obviously) and for the weekends, I've never used a pet-sitter before so I guess their rates were decent?

When she came for the interview, she took detailed notes about Linus's myriad special considerations (can't jump off furniture or walk up/down stairs, etc.). While we were away, Chelsea texted me with any concern and to see if it was okay with me if she went out to a show one night. It made me feel so bad for poor Chelsea, thinking of the scary clients she must deal with. When we got home, there were post-its with the details of each of Linus's walks. Usually we have friends stay with him when we travel, but if no one is available, Petaholics is our reliable go-to service. Also makes us feel better that they're insured and bonded!

Nancy first of all was gracious enough to take on the task of caring for Piggie who we dearly love as he is about 5 years old close to 6 inches in length and yes a chubby fish who loves to eat yet needs special custom care. Nancy was very detail oriented and out us at ease with her knowledge, experience and expertise caring for Piggie. She wanted to do everything hands on so she would insure it was done properly and that told us she really cares for those pets she takes under her wing. Piggie needs a special blend of regular fish food and crushed fresh peas which is a little bit of work but Nancy understood and didnt deem it a problem at all. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our pet was in great hand with Nancy. We felt very fortunate to find someone with her credentials willing to stop in daily to care for our fish. Her rates are surprisingly fair and affordable and she truly treats each pet as if her own and that to me is priceless. I could go on and on saying more good things that she is punctual, friendly understanding etc but I'm sure you get my point. 5 stars off the charts review and highly recommend Nancy and her company. The amount of care, love, and professionalism made me feel at ease while I was away attending to some important family matters. Nancy was very thorough at our consultation visit, to make sure my cats' health and emotional needs were met, and what to do in case of an emergency. I loved how I got so many lovely videos and photos of my cats every day. I knew my babies were in such good hands with Dana the sitter, who was nice enough to bring my mail in and took the time to play and engage with them--and they warmed up to her quickly (not an easy thing for them to do with strangers!) . Very communicative, accommodating, trustworthy and kind company of true animal lovers--so much so that I booked them again in a couple of months when I have to go out of town again. Grant was the first walker he ever had and was a life saver for us! At the time Rye was a 4-month old puppy struggling with puppy problems (mouthing, potty training, leash walking) and Grant was a hero, patiently working through all that side by side with us. Grant not only helped us with walking Rye but was big part of the reason Rye learned everything so quickly! Grant has good calm energy, Rye responds so well to him, very reliable and very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior. I feel totally at ease when Rye is with Grant. The emails after the walk are great. It lets me know Rye is back and safe at home, but also lightens up my day with a little glimpse of their adventures out in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

During our first initial visit, both Fidelpha and Adrian, were friendly and professional and listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. After our initial meeting, I had a trip that turned out to be less time away than I initially had anticipated, and when I communicated this to them, they were able to accommodate my last-minute changes without any fuss, as long as I gave at least 1-day notice. I love the pictures and reports that were sent to me after every visit. Also, I find their pricing to be extremely reasonable and I appreciate that they don't charge extra for holidays and last-minute changes like some other pet sitting companies that I've used do. Overall, a great experience and I'd recommend Fidelpha and Adrian to all my friends that have fur babies!

Will gave me all the information I needed to take care of this adorable pup. Unfortunately, due to having to move, I had to give my Sahara away. I gave her to a friend who still has her and she's as happy and healthy as could be. 4 years ago, I got my Jasper from the Steinway location, he's a little chiweenie. Again I had a great experience with Will when taking my Jasper home. A year later I moved to college point....found the US Pets in Whitestone not to far from me and wound up taking home a tiny little Cockapoo, Blaise. Blaise gets his haircuts from the Steinway location regularly and I couldn't be happier. I read some of the reviews complaining about sick pups...I've gotta say the THREE pups I've gotten have been very healthy. However, if they were sick, I wouldn't blame the store. Puppies get sick! That's normal. I love my Jasper and Blaise to death and can only thank US Pets for that. If you are looking for a serious lifetime animal, don't disregard this store.

Lola and I have been so happy since finding Khalid…read more We had been using another walker in the neighborhood but their hours were so limited - basically no evenings,mornings or weekends (WTH?), they frequently walked Lola earlier than the already too early (to fit their schedule) 2 hour time window I requested and worst of all my dog never went poo on her walks (my Lola is far from poo shy). Kind of defeats the whole purpose if the dog don't go. Since switching over to Pets on the Move, things couldn't be more different. Hours are much more flexible, so I can schedule walks according to our schedule, my Lola is walked within the time frame I request, she always goes poo! On top of all that, Khalid texts me so I know what time she was walked and am not stressing out wondering when I need to rush home - a very much appreciated extra! Lola loved him from the first meeting and though she is always super excited to see me when I get home whether it be from work or just downstairs to check the mail, she does seem content and calm after her walks. Thanks for being so awesome and reliable! I love my girl and she deserves the very best - Pets on the Move!

Khalid is absolutely the BEST. We first hired him to look after our puppy for just a few days when…read moremy bf was out of town during the day, since he used to work from home. I returned home each time to a clean floor and a happy pup. Recently, the bf started working full-time and we decided our puppy, though adorable, is definitely not ready to be home alone just yet. So we decided to hire Khalid again. Though we inquired with a couple of other walkers in the area, none of them were nearly as responsive, and their rates were the same, so we decided to stick with Khalid, who we were already confident in. I can't stress enough how terrific he is! He leaves us a quick note every day to let us know how things have gone, happily provides fresh food/water upon request for the dog, and responds to last-minute requests for additional visits super quickly. We feel so lucky to have found him!
