Angel called us to explain in detail how the travel process would work going to New Zealand - which has very particular importation requirements. He even contacted the customs agent - with a 14 hour time zone difference - to ensure that the chip that our dog got back in 2008 would work with the new rules! Compared to other pet transportation companies that replied to our inquiries with a series of form emails, he took the time to talk to us both over the phone and with direct emails to answer our specific questions, of which we had many! I was first told to come in on Friday, then later told the appointment was actually for Saturday. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up and I received no communication. I even sent a message that morning asking whether I should bring my dog at a different time and never received a response. After waiting most of the day, I finally reached out expressing my disappointment. Several hours later, I received an apology stating that I had been left off the schedule and that the groomer had experienced a migraine that morning. While I understand emergencies happen, a simple text or call would have prevented a lot of frustration. To make up for the inconvenience, I was initially offered $20 off a service that I was told normally costs $70, bringing the total to $50. However, I reminded them that I had originally been quoted $55, which would make the discounted price $35. After I pointed this out, I never received a response. Everyone makes mistakes, but the lack of communication, scheduling confusion, no-show appointment, and failure to follow up afterward left me with a very disappointing experience. My family and I were looking into dog boarding over Labor Day weekend, and found this place on…read moregoogle. What interested us in this place was it being specifically for smaller sized dogs, under 40lbs. We took him on a trial visit which he loved, although he was very nervous. After that, about once a week we would take him to regular daycare just so he can get used to being around the employees and the dogs. When we would pick him up, he would be so full of energy and joy. He would mainly stick by the people rather than the dogs, he's just like that. During his stay, he had gotten a minor injury(due to his fault not the daycare), which they called us to let us know of what had happened, what they will be doing (cleaning the wound and making sure he doesn't lick it). If it had escalated, they would provide some medication, but luckily he was perfectly fine and unbothered. They were very informative and caring for the dogs, have a great location, and the people are kind, we are grateful. Although we do not need to take him to daycare or to board him anytime soon, we would definitely return here if we needed to.
