Stopped in at their new digs (well, they've been here for 4 years, but I've not visited here since they moved. There was this whole pandemic/lockdown, see, and I kinda didn't travel...) and now they have a tasting room with real food and flights of their extended offerings. Carolina Crème is why I came, but they have an Avena Oat whiskey and an Heirloom Rye vodka that are both very nice!! Also had a BBQ BLT, which was amazing!! The bacon is rubbed with BBQ spices, and rather than fresh tomato, they use julienne sticks of marinated sun dried tomatoes. It hit just right! I did request another leaf of lettuce, since the other ingredients were a bit salty. That did the trick for the half that traveled toward home with me. Only a small part made it all the way home to Durham, however. I kept nibbling at it while driving. So good! I'll need to make this pilgrimage again soon. read more

I highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for something fun to do. The tours are at certain times; 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. are two of the tour times. You can book online and pay onsite if you're there on time. Pricing is on their website, and they currently have an active Groupon for their tours.   It's located in West Greenville and very close to downtown. There's plenty of parking. On one side of the interior, there's the bar/lounge area. There's couch-like seating, tables, and the bar. There's also an area for merch. I highly recommend purchasing from them versus your local liquor store, as the prices were cheaper there than anywhere else I've found them being sold.   The other side is the distillery, which is the side you step into for the tour. You start the tour with a cocktail of choices within the options they give you. I started with an old-fashioned, and it was good. Definitely carried a bang with it; a drink for the grown and experienced. It was pretty cool to learn about the distilling process, but it was even cooler to learn about the local and regional ties that made this South Carolina alcohol brand unique. It's informative, and the tour guide is engaging.   Towards the end of the tour, samples are provided of their vodka, which is strong but light tasting and very smooth; their whiskey, which was a bit strong for me but did carry a warm flavor; their bourbon, which was my favorite because it's very smooth and it carries a lot of good notes; their gin, which does have some floral and earthy type notes, and it's really cool how they make it; and another absolute favorite of mine is their Carolina cream. Their Carolina cream is so good. It is seriously delicious! I highly recommend it.   Again, next time I'm in the area and I'm looking for something to do, this will be my go-to place. It was fun, I learned some new things, I enjoyed their alcohol, and it's really neat to learn about something amazingly local, South Carolina. read more

We discovered this place right down the street from an AirB&B we rented in Greenville. We came in to do a tasting because I saw that they had a 5 grain bourbon. We were seated right away by our friendly server and given a tasting menu. We started with the Whiskey flight and I was really impressed with Old Money and Carolina Rojo. Not so much with the 5 grain Bourbon. Both of the Carolina Cream infused with rum and whiskey make a great dessert chaser. We next proceeded with the Vodka and Gin flight of which I most enjoyed the floral Double Made Gin. This is a great place for a party or group of friends to hang out and play darts. read more

Beautiful new location. Visited here with the wife for the first time since they moved. What a nice place they moved into. We came in and sat at the bar and one of the bartenders (didn't catch his name) suggested one of their flights which included their new gin (which I wanted to try) and their new peach creme (which the wife wanted to try). After the flight she got a Wide Awake and I got a gin & tonic. This is some really good gin and I may have found a new source. Bought a bottle of gin and a bottle of peach creme. Can't wait to try the gin with the lime tonic water I found. Again, beautiful place and I can't wait to visit again. read more

We were in Greenville for the weekend. We found this on yelp so I had to go! We walked 2 miles from downtown. It was worth it for sure. It was a slow afternoon at first. Which gave us plenty of time to enjoy our tasting with great explanation of the liquors. All were very good. We ended up with a private tour as we enjoyed a great cocktail. The cocktails change often with many created by their staff. The whiskeys were all good. The Vodka was amazing. Super smooth straight. And I am not a vodka drinker. We booked the distillery tour and tasting. We arrived at 4:05, and were kindly greeted by Matt with a cocktail of our choice. It was my wife's birthday, and they made every effort to make it special. Matt was especially knowledgeable and relatable explaining the different processes for distilling different types of liquor. The spirits they distill are amazing, and we had a blast. Matt did a great job balancing knowledge and teaching us as well as being very kind and respectful. Cute little spot in a plaza with other businesses. Plenty of seating inside, but nothing outside. Service was average, as was the liquor. Tried a sampler of the darks ($12) and nothing stood out compared to other places, except the Carolina cream which was delicious . This distillery was great! They do tours every Saturday at 12, 2, and 4pm. This includes a cocktail, a guided tour, and a tasting flight of 4 samples, all for $15! You get a cocktail in hand (the jalapeño business was delicious!) and get a little tour of their production area and still. Austin was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgable about the distillation process! You sample four of their products including their popular Carolina Cream which is so good! We had purchased some Carolina Cream from this distillery at Costco, and it is delicious. So, driving back from Clemson, after dropping off our son one Saturday, we decided on a whim to drop in for a visit. They had a tour going on, which they do every Saturday (a couple of times: 1PM and 4PM). We had missed the opportunity for a tour but were offered a sampler tasting for a small fee, something like $6. We got to try everything that they produce here and it was our own private tasting. Everything we tried was very good. All of the ingredients are from South Carolina, so the products are certified SC products. It is a fun experience and we will make the trip to an official tour soon! read more

My boyfriend and I were very excited about visiting Six & Twenty today. We sat at the bar and sadly were ignored by the waitress. She never made eye contact, she never smiled, she didn't speak to us, instead she just sat 2 menus down in front of us and walked away. The unbelievable part is they only had 5 other customers who had already been waited on. We felt very unwelcome so we got up and left. I can't leave a review on the product but first impressions go a long way. I don't know what was going on with the staff, everyone has a bad days, but as a customer we want to feel welcomed.
