What a great time with Yuri and Griffin. They really made the trip fun. Had a great lunch, kudos to the chef. Thank you and we look forward to doing it again.

    Swim session

Six Rivers Rafting and our guide Yuri were amazing. My 12 year old daughter and her best friend had a blast and it was so cool seeing the laughs and smiles on their faces all day. Yuri was cool enough to swim with my daughter's friend (who was pretty hesitant about swimming in the river) in the otters playpen. All of the guides were cool and worked together to ensure a good time was had by all. 10 out of 10 recommend these guys.

My 11 yo son and I had an amazing time doing the half day class 3 rapid rafting trip with 6 rivers. I lucked out and was able to book this on my birthday (booking is really easy online). Best birthday gift ever! It was a scorching hot day (115F), which made it the perfect time to be on the river. Couldn't imagine a better guide than Pascal--plenty of positive energy and sense of humor coupled with years of rafting experience and concern for safety. Class 3 rapids were the right amount of excitement for a first rafting experience and we were very fortunate to see a bald eagle from up close. We had a blast and would love to come back some day and do a full day or an overnight.

I loved this experience! It was my first time ever white water rafting and I felt so safe the entire time. Pete was our guide and he was extremely thorough and made us feel safe the entire time! Pete was the most calm and experienced and in turn it made us feel ready and comfortable. To raft Class 3 rapids was a new experience for me but my boyfriend says he's ready for Class 4 as long as Pete is there! Thanks Pete! :)

AMAZING!!!! Greatest experience ever!! Me and my mom went on the Class 3 Rapids with Bella and Pete and it was one of the best days of my life! I don't know how to swim, but Bella and Pete both jumped in to float down the river together and I jumped off a cliff and Bella waited for me at the bottom! She never left my side. Pete the owner is super chill , has great stories to tell and made me feel safe Come here! You will leave with a lifetime memory

So much fun! Elena was our guide and she was awesome. Wylie was great too. Can't wait to go again! Jumping off the rocks was amazing.

Their site and cabins are comfortable, clean, and cozy. It's such a treat to have delicious breakfasts and dinners al fresco, under a canopy of tall trees. There are a variety of options for ingredients for your sandwiches on the river and delicious, homemade salsa. Michael and Wanda are great hosts making sure you have everything you need. The rafting equipment is well maintained. Our evenings were topped off sitting around a campfire. Anyone would be fortunate to spend time a couple of days with Redwoods and Rivers.

Our group was age 10 - 64 and everyone survived :-) *** request Chris *** I guess I didn't realize how potentially dangerous it was until a couple of our teenagers fell out of the raft during a rapid.... But they were ok... Only bruises and some scrapes. They would do it all over again.... Falls and all. We went on a Class III tour which included Class I - III rapids. It's sort of "medium adventurous". If you have a lot of younger or older people in your group, you are probably good sticking with a Class I - II tour. But you will be safe during a Class III if you tell your guide that you can't swim, don't want to be thrown from the raft, etc. TIPS: DRINK A LOT OF WATER, show up early, expect to be exhausted the next day, expect to do a little hiking / climbing during lunch, Bring sunscreen, get one of those things that help your sunglasses stay around your neck because you will lose them, wear a visor or a cap under your helmet, bring cash to tip your guide because they do a hell of a job and they only make $100/day. IT'S A LOT OF FUN and the owners are really nice people.

My fiance and I stayed two nights and wished we had two more. You are steps away from the river and you hear the fish jumping all night. If you are a fisherman, this is the place for you! The Miner's Cabin offered a perfect, romantic, rustic retreat for us. You should think of your stay there as, "glamping". The cosy, one-room-loft-bedroom cabin is clean and basic, the structure itself, utterly charming. The bathroom is but a toilet, the entire room the shower cubicle & it's VERY clean, but most bathing happened in the river, shh, I'm not gonna lie. The cabin's heart is the pretty balcony that looks out over the crystal-clear river, where we spent a lot of our time relaxing and cooking. The kitchen is only a small bar fridge (though they do provide a large ice chest with ample space - just don't forget to buy ice), a sink, a microwave, toaster oven & an electric frying pan. Being outdoors folks though & a cook, we came prepared. I brought a portable gas burner which made the balcony a charming spot to fry up the beautiful, Steelhead Trout I was catching (FANTASTIC fishing). We ate meals out there too, to the majestic view of the river, the mountains & the pines, immediately before us. I also brought my cast iron dutch oven & used the wonderful, functional fire pit/ BBQ down on the river rock patio to roast vegetables in the fire. If you are wise about when to open and close windows at appropriate parts of the day, the Miner's Cabin stays wonderfully cool, even in the hottest of summer days as we experienced at around 103F. I think we used the swamp cooler once for an hour out of curiosity for what it may do. At night, the incredibly comfortable loft bed was heaven. We'd open up the pretty gable windows and enjoy the cool, evening breeze and sound of the lively river. The big house next door, also owned by Heidi, had a large family group staying there. We'd only see them sometimes when we'd use the driveway which is shared. Even with their nearby presence, the cabin felt very secluded. Occasionally folks would float by down the river and you'd share a wave or smile. You can hear the highway which is quite incongruous as you seem so far away from civilization. The river water is incredible. Our dog's coat and our hair and skin have never felt so good from lolling about in the water. Heidi has very detailed instructions and information available on the website and in the email package. Be sure to read them so you know exactly what you're in for and any additional costs like a dog fee etc. All the info you need is there. Heidi is very communicative. If you want the kind of no-frills, communing with nature experience we were after, this place is for YOU!
