I showed up here early in the morning Monday morning, in order to be in Stirling by 9am and received fast and efficient service. Matthew was my point of contact and he greeted me with a smile and we had a quick chat before he brought me out to a car. At first, he put me in a small two door car, but realised it had no fuel in it, so he quickly moved me in to a larger car- a Juke (an upgrade at that) and had me on my way in no time. Since the company was paying for it, I didn't have to fuss about with much, but it's still great to have amazing customer service both when picking up the car and dropping it off. When I came in today to drop the car off, again I received the same stellar service and was in and out in no time flat! I would highly recommend this branch for anyone looking to rent a car from a company who knows what they're doing!

I got the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Staff were incredibly rude and…read morewouldn't let me rent the car. I needed the car for work so this was enormously bad for me. The woman who served me laughed at me and joked, "It's not going very well for you today, is it." Another woman said, "To be honest, we just don't really want to rent to you." The reason they gave was that the address on my driving licence isn't my current address and not the one on the 6 pieces of id I showed. However, I have rented from 5 car rental companies this year with no problems. The real reason was probably because I booked the car 3 weeks before and got a good rate, so they probably thought, it being nearly Christmas, they could charge someone else more. I also suspected that they didn't like me because I'm not Scottish. It might have been simply that they were in the mood to mess someone around. Whatever, it was an awful experience that left me very angry and not being able to fulfill work commitments!

The big difference from American car rentals is that stick shifts are way cheaper than automatics in Scotland, but with the high price of gas it makes sense. We rented a car there 2 wkds in a row and the second wkd we got a diesel car, which definitely saved on gas (so u should try to request it). The service was fabulous. The prices are also amazing (pay online) with discounts seemingly all the time. A few times we picked up a car without a full tank of gas without knowing, and have received generous discounts off of our next rental. Can't argue. Last time we went, we even got a lift into the city centre from one of the staff members as it was raining. What more do you want? Surprisingly personal service for such a huge name. Will carry on using them for the forseeable future as I personally don't need a car living and working in Glasgow. If you want to know how amazing they are, try any other rental agency. As we were warmly welcomed at the desk in Glasgow Airport, ushered straight to our car, with impeccable service from Cameron and Josh, we laughed at the people in the Hertz line still waiting as we drove off to the Highlands. Though it was inconvenient to catch the shuttle to their car pickup (which their car yard is a bit offputting when you get there because it is in a gravel lot full of potholes and in an industrial area) the staff was very kind. The desk attendant was very distraught that I would not purchase car insurance (I use Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card that provides primary coverage up to $75k) but let me take the car anyway. Upon drop off of car, they did not point out any new scratches. The shuttle driver was awesome! I reserved my Easirent car through Expedia and it stated I would pay $103.64 for a week rental of a compact car. I was, however, charged two amounts on the day I picked up the car. I was charged $101.42 from Easirent Glasgow and $120.54 from easirent.com. I was refunded $119.94 after car drop off so paid less than what Expedia anticipated (obviously exchange rate had something to do with it). No surprise charges like Hertz charged me the week before when I was in Ireland ($7 a day mandatory liability insurance that wasn't part of the reservation quote)!

This is a pure SCAM. The vehicle was in disgusting conditions and hadn't been cleaned at all. We had to demand that the car got cleaned up, and therefor had to wait for them to clean it up and receive the vehicle hours later than planned (it was for a day trip.) This was my worst experience with a rental company. Well it's more a scam company than an actual company. Avoid it.
