Last week, a friend and I decided to take a day off and enjoy a little self-care. We wanted to find a scalp spa that could accommodate two walk-ins, so after calling several places with no luck, we found Siyu Hair Spa. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made that day. Charlie, who handles the appointments, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a busy Saturday, he was able to fit both of us in that afternoon. From the very first phone call, he made us feel welcome and even offered a few additional amenities that made us look forward to our visit. When we arrived, Lucy greeted us with a warm smile. We were offered water and some delicious cookies before being escorted to a private room with two massage chairs, where we were able to enjoy the experience together. I've been to several scalp spas, including some very high-end ones, so I had something to compare it to. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience here. The service was relaxing, thoughtful, and never felt rushed. The treatment started with a wonderful facial and scalp massage before moving into the scalp therapy itself. Every step felt calming and professional. At the end of the treatment, they offered to blow-dry my hair, which was a nice touch. Since I have very thick hair and planned to dry it at home, I declined, but Lucy still applied what I believe was a peppermint or eucalyptus scalp treatment along with a leave-in hair product. I was honestly amazed by the results. When I blow-dried my hair at home, it felt incredibly soft, healthy, and smooth. Even several days later, my hair still feels softer than usual. I'll definitely be going back for another treatment, and I plan to purchase whatever product Lucy used because it made such a noticeable difference. If you're looking for a relaxing Japanese or Korean-style hair spa experience with genuinely kind people and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Siyu Hair Spa. Definitely NOT the BANG for my Groupon Buck! While booking, speaking to Charlie, he highly encouraged me to get the 75 minute treatment,, while explaining how Groupon was NOT a good source to use, because of the financial loss to their business. Not a great way to start. I did end up paying for two 75-minute Deep Scalp Treatments, based on the description provided by Charlie, with the expectation of a relaxing, professional service. However, I only received approximately 60 minutes of treatment, which was very disappointing. Despite calling ahead and confirming we could move up our appointment, we arrived early at 11:05 but were not taken back until 11:35, which added to my frustration. The scalp analysis was not performed, and no hair brushing was done before starting the treatment, contrary to what was promised. Instead of a relaxing experience, the "therapist" kept getting up to answer the door and front desk, which disrupted the session. We were taken to a room with sheer curtains and three massage beds, but the service was far from relaxing. The therapist began brushing my hair aggressively for 12 minutes with no massage or calming techniques. The head brushing and rinse was aggressive, and the towel wrap was not hot and uncomfortable, then turned cold while I lay there unattended. I witnessed the other therapist, working on my husband, sitting behind him on her cell phone. Mine was no where to be found. The therapist left me unattended from 11:58 to 12:24, which was unacceptable. I was unable to complain or communicate effectively because they did not speak English. When she returned, she rinsed and brushed my hair again, then ripped my skin with the face mask--an experience I loudly reacted to. The session ended with a half-hearted blow-dry, some tonic on my scalp, and a dismissive "done." Unwillingly, I kept track of every minute on a large red neon clock, and I am incredibly disappointed that this experience did not match what was promised or the value I paid for. This was not the relaxing, professional scalp treatment I expected, and I am very disappointed with how the service was handled. I've only been to three head spas in Las Vegas. So far this is definitely the best of them. The good All the staff members were friendly, thorough, and attentive The products seemed to be off good quality. The salon specializes in head spa and scalp therapy. I feel like they really know their trade The salon was clean and easy to work with. I think for the price I paid I definitely got my money's worth. The bad The massage chair/bed they have you lay in is very powerful. For my friend, they had to turn it off because it was hurting her. Mine didn't hurt but it wasn't as relaxing as it could have/should have been The gentleman who took my appointment over the phone was ... an older man who shouldn't be in a customer facing position. My son and I made a morning appointment to have our first ever scalp treatment. It's located in a commercial area with convenient parking. We were greeted by friendly employees and given an analysis of our scalp by high tech equipment. So interesting to see our hair follicles up close! We selected a 75 minute treatment and we were taken to a room with a curtain dividing us. We were instructed to lie down in a massaging chair which felt constrictive for my arms and legs. The massage for the lower back was a bit uncomfortable, but I tolerated it because the scalp massage was so relaxing as my hair was being washed. Afterwards, we were given water and a small treat while sitting in a chair to have our hair blow dried. The last part was a neck and shoulder massage, which felt great, however, the smacking of the shoulders at the end was too aggressive and unsettling. My scalp was tingling with a product that was applied during the blow drying session, but it went away within the hour. It was a great experience and the salon is very modern, clean, and the owner takes the time to explain everything about maintaining a healthy scalp. read more

Called in to book an appointment, and spoke to a man named Charlie. I initially asked if they'd match the price on Groupon, to which the response was yes, so that was helpful. Before I called, I checked their availability through the online booking portal and it showed open through the rest of the afternoon. I started to say that I'd like to come in for a same-day treatment if possible, but he interrupted me and said "we're fully booked". I responded "Ah, okay" with the full intent of scheduling for another time. Before I could get another word out, he said "Yeah, it's like that. We're busy. You have to call in earlier". I don't mind a spa being booked, that's understandable. I do mind being patronized when I'm simply trying to make an appointment. I'm not sure if their online scheduling system is inaccurate or they became suddenly "busy" at the mention of Groupon but either way; he eventually offered to pull out his schedule, but I declined as the initial contact didn't give me confidence in my visit being a relaxing experience. read more

Whether I was there ir not, there is no advantage for my 30-year old and 11-year old daughters to lie about their experience. When i called your husband, he was very rude and said he doesnt believe you or any technician would not provide the service promised on Groupon. He did NOT offer any resolution whatsoever. You also wouldnt allow my daughters to leave without a tip despite their poor experience! This is a "pre-review" since my appointment is tomorrow. But I had to stop by and make sure to leave 5 stars on both Google and Yelp for both ease of booking and service. Booked online and paid my deposit a few days ago. But I had a last minute change and had to call Siyu directly. I spoke with Charlie who was SO pleasant and helpful. He really went above and beyond to help update my appointment information, when he could've just said "it wasn't possible, due to being overbooked" and went on with his day. These hair spas seem to be popping up all over Vegas now. This was my second time trying one of these and it was once again wonderful and relaxing. I had purchased a Groupon and was more than worth the discounted price. The only issue I had was I didn't get a scan of my hair/scalp which was supposed to be included, nor was it acknowledged that it wasn't happening. Not a huge deal with having paid the Groupon price, however, if a service is being advertised and isn't offered for whatever reason, it should at least be mentioned. read more

The ambiance is incredible and my hair felt amazing after. The chair pods are unique and maybe not for all. I do wish the scalp scrubbing was a bit gentler - it was a little rough on my scalp sensitivity. I was very excited about taking my daughter here for her birthday but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. I bought us each a 90 minute service. I wouldn't say they massage your scalp, I would say they brush and scratch your scalp. There was no actual massaging involved. At one point they left us in the room for 20 minutes with light steam. I asked my daughter, do you think they're coming back?" During the blow dry portion they give you a shoulder massage that starts out ok, however she only used one hand, but moved into almost painful! The lady that was blow drying my daughters hair didn't use a brush, just her fingers. Please go to one of the others that actually massage. The only pro I can say is they have massaging beds that you lay on similar to nail salons. I have been to two other franchises that were amazing but tried this one because of the great reviews and the location was closer for my daughter. I regret my decision read more

Very sweet staff, but the entire experience was anything but relaxing/enjoyable. :( They've gotta get rid of those old massage chairs because they're incredibly uncomfortable (nothing about it felt like a massage), and also check in with people's level of comfort when it comes to the aggressive brushing, as well as the super painful massage you get with their elbows and hands at the end. Everyone in our party left in pain and wishing we hadn't gone at all, which was a bummer since it was our first head spa experience. I LOVE this place! If you want to take care of your hair and scalp while you get pampered with massages and hot tea and treats- YES PLEASE. First they take pictures of all sides of your scalp and analyze it with their new computer technology, so you learn about how your scalp and hair is doing. I got the refresher so afterwards they had me lay on a massage bed while they thoroughly massaged and washed my hair with special Japanese product. I had A LOT of dandruff so afterwards I felt extremely clean and brand new! The lady then gave me a massage on my neck which I believe is an add on but WOW she really knew what she was doing! I had so many knots! Then they dried my hair and while my hair was drying they gave me hot tea and a treat! How nice! Everything was clean and peaceful. What's a girl to do when your 24 hour Vegas trip turns into 4 days due to CrowdStrike 2024 and you didn't bring any shampoo or conditioner, and you are in desperate need of a hair wash? You go to a hair spa! Hey, sometimes a scalp needs pampering, too. Easily made a same day appointment on their site for a 1.5 hour anti inflammatory session (because treat yo self) and was on my way to the salon right after work. Lucy was the person who worked on my hair and she was very nice. First thing we did was she took a few photos of my scalp along and explained what each photo measured (hair growth, scalp section baldness, hair elasticity, etc - very neat!). Then she spritzed some serums on my scalp and off we went to the salon hair wash/conditioning session on top of THE MOST fanciest massage booth bed/chair thing I've ever seen or experienced. That combined with a scalp massage led to a very relaxing experience. After the wash, Lucy put some more oils on my scalp and used a couple other futuristic devices to aid with anti inflammation. What a fantastic experience! This is my first time going to a hair spa, so I didn't know to expect, but the owner, Lucy was so amazing. She first did a consultation with my hair to explain what was going on with it. She had a machine that took a reading from different parts of my head. Then she explained the situation to me. I was dry in some areas but overall my hair was healthy. She recommended doing a scalp treatment, which I definitely agreed with. She then took me and my friend into a private room where we each laid down on our own massage bed. The whole process was like 90 minutes. I think I fell asleep. it was amazing. She washed our hair several times, then gave an awesome neck massage and dried our hair afterwards. We were even served a tea and mochi afterwards. What a wonderful way to start off the new year! I was greeted by Lucy who analyzed my hair with a high tech computer/camera. Which shows if you have dry/oily hair, losing hair and elasticity. After the results I decided to get the deep wash with scalp treatment and face massage. I was taken to a room with a full body massage chair with sink attached. The massage chair was so amazing and so unexpected, my calves are getting squeezed with my forearms and a scalp massage?!?!? Heaven. Tiffany proceeded to work on my hair for the longest amount of time ever, I think they even steamed my scalp! Face massage was worth the extra $25. After 90 minutes of absolute pleasure, I am moved to the drying area when I was given some tea and a pastry. I got the scalp treatment and it was also worth the $25. My scalp felt so minty and cool, like when you pop a peppermint in your mouth. I styled my hair when I got home to go out and my hair looked and felt so good. The products they used from Japan are really great. For the price, I understand this isn't something you could do all the time. But if you want to treat yourself, you deserve it! Considering this establishment is still very new, i really enjoyed the experience. There is still room for improvements. We drove all the way from centennial hills. I'm not too sure we'll be back because 1) it is very far and 2) i initially wanted to go to Soulo or Tea Spa which were booked out on the only day we were able to go. I believe the owner was there and Stephanie, who made us feel comfortable and walked us through all the steps of the process. We did the $85 deep hair wash and after all the fees and mandatory tip it came out to around $120 per person. There are a couple reasons for the 4/5 stars. First of all, we got charged an extra $15 pp because we had long hair so just keep that in mind when you're booking. I understand this is because it takes more product. Secondly, when we were paying the remainder of our balance, it felt like we were forced to tip. We were going to tip them regardless but she said $30 (long hair fee) plus tip. She then goes on to say the minimum is 20% per person and starts calculating it. I was a little thrown off guard because tipping is OPTIONAL and I've never been told there is a minimum at any place I've been. Not only was the service poor, including having a technician that had recently smoked, so the entire time I had to endure the smell of smoke, but they also charged me twice for the same service and claimed I had a guest with me, which was untrue.
