They are holding my…read moremoney they asked for a deposit of $1054 "the transaction is under Costa Do Sol Agency" for policies of $3826 And they did not deliver what they promised. My first contact was with Eva, she failed to provide me with the cargo insurance and the filing with FMCSA, When I first called the agency I literally asked them do you guys do insurance for moving companies and have the insurance company file the form BMC-34 with FMCSA; Eva said yes absolutely. She said it will be ready in 2 business days, either Friday May 28th or Tuesday June 1st. The gap was because of the long weekend. I said that's perfect. Friday came and gone Tuesday Came and gone. After 10 days since the first call, which was on May the 24th, I asked Eva to return the payment since she failed to provide me with the coverage and the filings that she promised. She started giving me excuses that a new insurance agent trainee would not give. And she literally couldn't differentiate between Interstate and Intrastate..... How come? I really do not know. She started talking nonsense, I told her I need to speak with the supervisor. Then somebody spoke and said that he is the supervisor and I had explained everything to him form the get go and I asked him to listen to the calls to hear what she promised and what she failed to provide. He said no problem we will reimburse you the following day. This was on Thursday, June 3rd in the afternoon. I told him that I was going to call another agent to get me the coverage that I need I am done with you guys. The next day I got everything that I wanted by the other agent in less than 24hours. I called Costa Do Sol again last week and told them that I want to speak to the supervisor. Isabel answered and she said that she is the supervisor. I told her the previous week somebody else claimed to be the supervisor a He not a She. She said he is in the hospital. And I had to explain everything to her again and she told me to stop by the following day to have my money back. In like an hour she called back and said that she needs proof of insurance from me to give it to that insurance company in order to reimburse them so they can reimburse me. (I sent her Form H because the declaration page is not yet ready and they are well aware of that because they did not issue one for me and she is asking for something that an insurance agent or a carrier should know that it would not be available right away) I am well aware that I should not provide them with any. I tried to explain to her that they must do it without being nosy and ask for something that it s not their business because they did not provide me with the coverage and the BMC-34 filing. And here we are again back and forth with Costa Do Sol. I asked to report them to the insurance commission if she refused to comply with my request or I will report them. She promised to call me today in the morning to reimburse me. I have not heard from them.
