We contacted Scott because we had a Dick Idol Table and chairs and needed the chairs to have their seats renovated. They had lost their support . We went to talk to Scott and showed him what we needed. He was exceptional. He allowed us to look through lots of fabric books, gave us some advice and allowed us to take them home to see the swatches in our home. We chose the material and after about a week got a call saying the chairs we ready. The Scott asked us where we lived and indicated he had a visit near us so brought the 4 chairs to our home. Do you need boat upholstery work done? Then Scott is your man. I am very tardy in writing this review, but Scott redid the fabric in our entire sailboat, an Amel Super Maramu. Not only did he do an incredible job, he managed to get it done in record time. By the time the fabric got sent to him, he had about 2.5 weeks to complete the job (and the boat is 53 feet long with a ton of fabric). We had a deadline since we were sailing our boat home to Morro Bay from SD. He was so easy to work with...but he went above and beyond by offering to take a road trip North to deliver any remaining pieces that he couldn't finish; he didn't need to do this because he finished in time, but just that kind of service is unheard of these days. I can't say enough great things about his craftsmanship...the cushions are beautiful! If you are in San Diego and own a boat, give him your business! You will not be disappointed. Scott measured our kitchen 12' bench seat & back cushions and 2 of casual large bedroom chairs with expertise. They also made a custom BBQ cover for our built in grill. I have a patio set (11 cushions) purchased from Home Depot 3 years ago that the cushions were still good, but the factory fabric had broken down. Although I could find replacement cushions online (home depot discontinued), I decided to hunt for a local upholstery shop because I wanted to support a local business. For the same price of an online company (with shipping), S&K upholstery recovered our cushions and had it done within one and a half weeks of my selecting a sunbrella fabric.
