Love this place for all of our painting and supply needs. They go the extra mile and are always willing to help. We lost the paint color info we had used back in 2021 for our living room. The sales associate went back to October 2021 in their system and narrowed down all of the receipts to find our specific paint color. So thankful he went the extra mile to help us out. Last Saturday we also arrived late when they were already closing and they reopened just to let us purchase more paint. Their customer service goes above and beyond every time. This is a contractors secret gem, all the old timers in the neighbourhood know about this place. It's a family business and much nicer than Home Depot! Polite helpful staff, great prices, clean and organized. $28.00 for a mold and mildew proof gallon of white paint. It's confusing to find because they have a giant Benjamin Moore awning but the real name of the place is Skallar Supply Co. In tiny print outside. Everyone calls the place Skallar but it would be easier to find if they said the Benjamin Moore store! read more

So where do I begin? First and foremost this place is AMAZING! It's clean and well organized. My wife, daughter and I went there this morning to get some paint samples for our new home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by everyone! It was pouring outside but the way everyone was so polite and down to earth you would've thought it was a nice sunny day out. We were immediately approached by JD! Extremely polite, Knowledgeable and willing to help. He gave great advice, made some suggestions and never hassled us to get anything. JD also walked away and gave us space so we could figure out what colors we liked. Once we picked our colors JD got them mixed and ready right away. He even threw in 4 small brushes for us to use on the walls in the house. As we were leaving we felt very confident in the colors we chose and of course everyone said goodbye and have a nice day! Same energy as when we came in. My wife said that you can tell they all get along great with each other. As we were walking out I said to my wife, "I'm writing a yelp review today! LOL. The whole experience just made our day especially on a rainy day. I've lived in the Bronx for 30 years but this was my first time going to Skaller Supply. Our new home is in NJ so it's a bummer that we will be too far but I want them to know that we will never forget their customer service. Businesses need to take a page out of Skaller Supply's book that great customer service goes a long way. read more

This is an outstanding paint store. The prices are right and the employees are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Another thing I like about this place is the ample parking. They have a nice sized parking lot in the back. Every other paint store I've been to on Long Island either has a very tight unmaneuverable parking lot, or no parking lot at all. So bravo! One thing I learned from my father is that no self respecting contractor uses paint from Home Depot. This is the best paint store in the neighborhood, so shop with reckless abandon. read more

i have been coming here for years for paint supplies for family and friends and the reason is very simple , they are experts on paints and what supplies you need, the prices are fair and you will get the right paint for the job. a parking lot in the back of the place if you have trouble finding one outside on boston rd .it's a simple neat organized place with very thing you need to get the job done even if you are not a pro like me. i was shown about 3 colors of paint and the friendly guy who's name i dont recall but been working here for a while recommended a semi gloss for my living room which will give it a lite clear look that will go well with any lighting day or night. this paint store makes buying paint a breeze which i can't say the same during my one visit at home depot on a sunday . 4.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more
